I spoke with the asst manager about this problem. The girl that assisted me when I arrived has no customer service skills. She talks to you like you are an idiot. I have talked to this girl 2 different times because I rent a unit as well. Both times she has been unprofessional. The asst manager went above and beyond to help with my experience. I understand getting people to come to work is 90% of the battle current day, I am a GM myself, however, having no repeat business because of one person will remove the need of the one person. Easy access, paved lot. Trailer jack used to unhook trailer instead of lifting. Assistant was very pleasant and quick response time. Not about this specific location: I made my reservation to pick up and drop off at specific locations, however the day before, I was informed the only trailer available was 15 miles away. The uhaul 1800 number is slow or non-responsive, the email I sent requesting assistance was never answered. The return location was changed by uhaul after I rented, to a different location 10 miles from where I had made the reservation. Overall, uhaul organization was not helpful. No customer service upon return of trailer; she wouldn't put her phone down; I had to ask for her to come out and inspect the trailer and she barely looked up; we pulled under the awning and she said we needed to unhook and move it; we unhooked and left it there as I didn't want it to get away from us and something happened that we would be liable forJOHN G.

Very tight to drop off large trucks with trailers. When we stopped at the drop off point and waited for someone to come help us no one came. We could sew the person just sitting at the counter doing nothing. I finally went in and was greeted with an attitude. She told me I had to take the truck and trailer around the building and unhook the trailer in a certain spot. It was impossible to put the trailer in the spot and I have many years of truck driving experience. She told me I had to. She finally stormed off to do it bit couldn't. She and another girl unhooked the trailer and were going to move it with smaller truck all the while I was still waiting to get checked out. When I ask her to check me out she said she couldn't until she had the equipment in the right spot This went on for about 30 minutes when I finally told her I should not have to wait for her to put equipment up to get checked out and that it wasn't my responsibility to so that I was going to notify U Haul about all this. She then decided to check me out which took about 10 minutes after I had already been there for more than 30 minutes. I think yhis employee need to be reprimanded for her actions. As far as everything else I had a great experience with uhaul.Donald K.

I was charged $625 for a relocation fee although I returned the equipment to where I rented it. I had to make a seperate trip to the location and spend my time to get this resolved. I have yet to receive the relocation refund however they didn't waste any time to charge me an additional day. Now I have to make an additional trip to find out why I was charged the extra day. Lots of my time wasted to rent a trailer when I have my own.. I rented in order to not unload mine to save time which has become a futile effort.david H.

Kimberly Ricon did not have good customer service, she was very rude and did not want to help. I was told when I rented the truck to bring in my company credit card when I return, Kimberly did not want to mess with it and became very rude to me through the whole process from start to finish. When I did return with the truck she stated I will inspect the truck and when I brought up that I needed to change the card, she stated well then you will wait a while. When she did come in very rude and unprofessional. I made the comment when I was leaving maybe be a little more positive and have better customer service she stated maybe I will try to work on it.ERIC S.

The young lady who checked me out was very helpful and went above and beyond to swap the trailer for one with a motorcycle chock. They even called me earlier than normal check in time as I had stopped by the store earlier and asked if the equipment came back early if they could call me. No Customer Service. Am a retired veteran with a bad back. I chose a "U-Haul Moving & Storage" over a "Neighborhood Dealer" because I was told a "U-Haul Moving & Storage" would unhook the 6x12 trailer for me. (Maybe I was misinformed). I arrived to turn in the trailer a day early. A young lady came out with some sort of scanner, scanned the trailer and said I was good and to pull around back and park the trailer where the other 6x12 trailers are. I mentioned to her I had a bad back asked if there was someone who could help me unhook the trailer. She said no but that I could use the portable tongue jack. I found a tongue jack by another trailer and got my trailer unhooked. Before leaving I folded and turned in the 12 blankets I also rented to the office since I did not want them stolen from an unlocked trailer. At no time did anyone from inside the building come out to check if everything was ok, if I needed any assistance or ask if there was anything wrong with the trailer. (FYI - you have a few running lights burned out).Allen S.

I love my location and used them for pods and storage. Seems like I had a new lady today which was nice and I was patient. She will get better like anyone with experience. As a manager myself, I'd suggest her working on speaking more clearly directly to customer. This will come with confidence in her role I'm sure and mask don't help. She needs to speak and project more clearly though. I couldn't understand her half the time. But nice lady and will be just fine once she's been there with more experience I'm positive of that. Thanks y'all always take care of me. There was one lady there seemed to be more experienced possibly a trainer. I heard another in line say she was cold actually said bitch but trying to be nice. The problem we had was I had a confirmed reservation for the largest storage unit that was made about 2 weeks prior to the arrival. When we arrived we were told that such a unit was NOT available now nor had it been available when we made the original reservation. While cleaning out our “climate controlled” storage unit last week, we found the temperature to be hot & uncomfortable. We found a thermostat in the hallway near & within 50 feet +/- our unit and saw that the temperature in the hallways was 83 degrees! Of course, inside of our unit, the temperature was much hotter. We were there for several hours on 3/25/2020. We found the thermostat reading at the beginning of our time there. We called down to the local front desk and explained the temperature problem, as well as the thermostat reading, to a man there. We told him that since our unit was a “climate controlled,” inside unit, our expectation was that the temperature should be much cooler thank 83 degrees. He agreed and told me that he would send someone up “immediately” to check out the thermostat & to make any necessary repairs to it, or the cooling system, if necessary. We told him that in all of our previous visits to our unit during the 3 years that we had been renting it, the temperature had always been much cooler. He again confirmed that 83 degrees was definitely hotter than it should be in your climate controlled building & units. We worked in our unit for many hours, without leaving, after speaking to the man at the desk. No one ever showed up to check the thermostat, & the temperature stayed the same (hot!). Throughout our time there that day, I regularly checked the thermostat and it stayed around 83 degrees. We visited our unit several more times over the following few days until we completed the removal of our stored items. The temperature problem was not corrected up to and including our rent termination date of 4:03/2020. Our primary concern is not with our comfort while inside your supposedly climate controlled spaces, it’s with the integrity of our stored items. Because of the expensive value of the furniture & other items that we needed to store when we made the decision 3 years ago, we choose to pay more for a climate controlled unit to ensure protection of our belongings, all of which belonged to my wife’s deceased mother. While inspecting & removing the furniture items, it was apparent that a couple of items had heat-related damage, which we felt like we were avoiding by choosing & paying for ($199 per month). Of course, we are very unhappy about the damage, & are very dissatisfied with the product that we received from uHaul, who we thought we could trust with these valuable items.DON C. | Overall Experience
