Rental was ready to go staff was friendly , took 10 mins to complete paperwork and rental , with much of the same info I provided online . The truck had 93K miles and the driver's seat was completely worn out and very uncomfortable. Additionally, I received it at half full but could not measure how much gas to put in it to return it half full. As a result, I put an extra $20 of gas in the tank.Michael M.

This was the first time I had been in UHaul post pandemic. The registration process needs to change. The kid helping me kept texting me links to take pictures of my license and everything else. I didn't have my glasses, the print on the webpage was too small, it was very inconvenient. It was a much smoother process before that link was introduced.Brian D.

The way they particularly made me paid $10 for insurance was not necessary for an appropriately 30 miles round trip. Some other places asked you first if you want it. I saw a check box and $10 , and a continued arrow. I didn't check the box, but I pressed continue. They assumed that I agreed to pay it and that sets. For me that was misleading.Luck G.

I was pissed that u-haul only informed me that my pickup location was changed by email. It fell on me to call to inform the company if I had issues with this pickup location. I purposely avoided that location when selecting my pickup because of where it is located. And the cargo trailer I rented sounded like it was ready to fall apart as I drove home. Then of course I had to return it to the same location which was a pain in the ass without the trailer...then to have to get back with a trailer...a very bad choice all aroundJesse P.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. I wanted a moving truck and also to get a unit. There was no unit available in the size I wanted but Cody put my name on a list. Just as I finished loading the truck, I got a call from the manager who told me that a unit became available and Cody told him about my situation. I took it over the phone and came back and completed the rental. It could not have been easier and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Awful experience. Took a pickup truck this am, drove it less than two miles, turned it off to enter the store to pick up the item I needed the truck for. Truck wouldn't start when I left the store. Uhaul attempted to charge card twice for some ridiculous amount. Called the store I picked up the truck at. They connected me to the 24 hr roadside assistance. Customer service could not find my contract. Ended up walking to the store to ask why my contract disappeared. No one could give me an answer. Uhaul mechanics came to jump start the truck. Turned out the battery terminal wires were loose. Never received any sort of explanation for what happened to the contract or compensation for the complete waste of my time.John E.

I liked and I was very satisfied with the service I received from the employee from whom I received all the information I requested. Mainly, because I have difficulties in understanding native peoples speaking in English. I closed down one of two units I have today, finally having some help moving bigger things. In the process, Shane came over to ensure everything was going well and made sure I didn’t need any additional supplies or vehicles. I was totally devastated after showing up at the Amherst location and being told my reservation for a unit was not honored because they had no units. I had just traveled 1300 miles for 3 days across the country and had nowhere to put my things. I took the chance and headed to the one on Daniel Webster. That’s where I met Shane, and I’m so glad I did! He went above and beyond to make sure that we had the unit we needed, that we didn’t have to use the stairs, and that we were able to return the equipment we rented at this location, instead of the Amherst one. The place was very busy. Once he cleared all customers, and the store was closed, he still came to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. He also helped me make sure I could take the vehicle off the transport trailer. I was a little disappointed about the prices being higher than the other location, but I haven’t seen customer service like that in so long!
