Attendant there at 8am on November 18th was very nice and accomodating. But when I got in the truck it was not clean and I could tell the cab had not been dusted or vaccumed. When I spend $1911.00 dollars at least clean the vehicle please. SINCE JUNE OF 2021 I HAVE SPENT MORE THAN $3.000.BARBARA C.

Truck was great, as was the customer service today. Did find a dead mouse in my storage unit upon move out which is a little disturbing. This is my fifth storage unit I've used (forth inside, climate controlled) and the first with a mouse. Yikes!!!Sarah C.

Had to go to 3 different locations to secure the equipment that i RESERVED ON LINE. I was not familiar with the area and had to get directions to each location for every venue I visited that day. If you say equipment is reserved at a particular location, then it should be there and ready to be picked up at the requested time. Did not make the deadlines for loading and delivery of the furniture as promised (I am known for always being on time). Yes, the staff did give me a size upgrade for the same price, but my down time was frustrating. Staff at all three locations were understanding, but the people I was moving furniture for were upset that I was not on time. Irondequoit, NY location was very professional and got me the trailer quickly. BOTTOM LINE... IF A CUSTOMER RESERVES A TRAILER AT A PARTICULAR LOCATION AND TIME, THEN IT SHOULD BE THERE WHEN IT WAS SCHEDULED TO BE PICKED UP! (The return in Jamestown was an excellent experience! ).Joseph T.

The pickup was without incident. Lights were checked by the employee on site, and he said all were OK. Well into the trip, at a rest stop, I rechecked the lights. the dolly left taillight was dim, and it did not improve when I braked or turned on the left turn signal. I continued the trip having no reasonable alternative. I don't know what happened, but you should check the left lamp on this dolly.WILLIAM D.

I was there 11/11/21 at 1pm and returned around 5pm. Both of the gentlemen working were helpful, I had trouble on my phone with self check in and when I returned a guy came right out to check me in and let me know when I would see my credit returned to my debit card. They were also communicating well together about trucks, what was coming in, going out and what was late being retuned.Sean S.

they did not have the size truck i reserved so it took me an extra trip to move. truck rental cost was the same but at $.99 a mile it cost me $50 more than expected. i would suggest u-haul discount the mileage cost when this happens or don't over book the trucks if that is what happened. i suspect a bait and switch but not sure.Terry T.

Facility was clean and well-maintained. Jose and Roger (his name might not be Roger - he was working on 11/7/21 and processed our move-out) were super nice and helpful. Everyone else who worked there was incredibly rude. Almost as though they went out of their way to be so. Customer service training may help. Just basics like remember it’s okay to smile, greet your customers, don’t act like you are doing them a favor every time you have to do your job. Only problem is you over book storage units and what I reserved wasn't available so you up charge me which is poor business practice. well all the uhal store here in Rochester the staff need to they job. when u going to rent a truck you have to wait more than 15 minutes beacuse if they not on the cell phones texting and talking they are outside smoking weed or cigarette . after they done they asking you what u need .they are meant if u said u was waiting for more than 15 minutes and they told you we are busy yeah smoking outside. Yesterday when I returned my truck about 6:30pm one of the female employees was smoking weed right on the front door and the manager told her to watch for the camera and she moved to other spotReinaldo R.

The staff at this location was excellent & extremely patient & understanding. I originally reserved a truck at the Webster, NY location. When I arrived at my scheduled pick up time (during regular business hours) the location was not staffed, much to my dismay. I headed to E Ridge Road and the were able to provide the equipment I needed in less than an hour & they did it with a smile!! I HIGHLY recommend this location.TANYA B.

The address has two separate locations for storage and trucks. It was hard to find the trucks location. No one was available outside to take my returned truck (I was instructed to wait outside for someone). I waited a long time. The attendant could not find my reservation and said I was at the wrong location, and then later found my reservation. You guys at the location are great but U-Haul is always a pain in the ass. I set a reservation for 8 AM at a different location. Get left a voicemail right before it's too late to call back saying my new reservation is for 3 PM now at this location. Send an email - get a reply at 6 AM saying I can pick up at 10 AM, after I had already pushed all my helpers back to later in the day. Just a mild cluster-f like always. Cheers.DOUGLAS B.
I stopped by just before close to go over the return, but realized I hadn't filled it with gas yet. The guy behind the counter said he'd still be here when I got back, but when I returned, he waved me away, and left. I had problems returning with the phone app, so I was charged an after-hours fee, and the damage that I received the truck was initially charged to me as a damage fee. Everything worked its way out and was refunded once I opened a dispute with UHaul corporate, but Kyle Miller and the folks behind the desk were not very helpful up front. It all could have been avoided with much better desk presence and customer service.Matthew P.
The u-haul pick up location on 1875 E Ridge road was awful. Poor customer service. They gave a truck with a damaged tire. I brought the truck back and they told me to call road side assistance. They didn't even bother to try and find me another truck saying it was out of their hands. I was on hold with customer service for over an hour trying to find another truck while also waiting at the u-haul location for roadside assistance to come fix the tire. I was moving from Rochester To Albany NY over 200 miles. If I was on the highway and the tire blew it would of caused a serious accident. I am very displeased with how they handled the situation.George D.

Was a bit disappointed with my return experience, in particular the fuel gauge piece. The rep attempted to charge me for not returning the rental with the same amount of fuel...literally had to show him a photo I took of the gauge when I signed for the vehicle (was hoping not to need it believing the obvious mere visual inspection would suffice).mike P.

The return after hours app was extremely unfriendly. I worked on it in a dark parking lot, alone and feeling very insecure for over an hour. My primary problem was that I had locked the vehicle and put the key in the drop box. In fact, I had already gone home before I discovered the instructions on my phone.
