Gas tank was completely empty and they said it was on the line before a quarter of a tank. I was told they would be giving me a credit of $27.00 to fill the gas up to a reasonable level. I have never heard this type of operationâ€¦ I will never return to this location again!Chanese G.

Inside of windshield and side windows was filthy. Water in storage pockets in both doors from runoff from the top of cargo box with doors open. Interior of cargo are not swept clean. Manifold vacuum gauge not working. That said the location was good enough for U-Haul. But this is the second truck I've rented that has been a mess. The last one barely made it back from a 150mi trip. Since this was a short drive it was worth the low price but if I had any distance to go I would rent from a different company.ERIC S.

I made a reservation online for a specific vehicle but it turns out the reservations are option and they don't matter. I put in a credit card online and the man at the counter says that the system doesn't hold any number and that seemed to be a waste also. Not sure why there is an online reservation option when they vehicle that I requested is not available. The women working the counter also had an E-cigarette in her hand the entire time. Not a huge deal but it sets a tone when you walk into a business.Alexander S.

I'm am very happy for this store, because another store in town dropped the ball. I requested a truck from another location and they didn't have my order, even though I had a confirmation order and everything. Someone called my phone but never left a message so I assumed all was good for pickup, even tried to call back but never got through. We had a moving trip of 8 hours over 4 states and to be told the morning of that our truck was NOT ready, was very frustrating. Luckily another store had a truck in time and we could still continue our move. I would recommend the irondiquoit store, but would not recommend your Greece store. A $50 inconvenience refund just isn't enough.Gregory K.

We rented 6 vans from this location. Most were okay but one had trash and dog hair everywhere and the whole van was literally covered in dirt, about 1/8" on the whole dashryan S.
The truck I rented contained a massive stench of Marijuana..It was totally engulfed with that pungent odor...I'm not blaming anyone..I know what people do in a rental vehicle cannot be controlled but it did make me sick...All the folks I dealt with were top notch and very friendly .. no issues there at all ...I'm a recovering drug addict and that odor was getting to me...Sincerely, jimmy cimino....james C.

I would not recommend this location to anyone. Up till now I was a loyal Uhaul customer, but after my experience with General Manager Kyle Miller, I will not be recommending this company or location to anyone and will be taking my business else where. I was charged $150 for damages I did not cause and was rudely accused of doing so by Kyle Miller. He was spoke very unkindly and was belittling as I was trying to understand what damages he was even talking about. The damages he spoke about were already on the truck when I picked them up and now I am being charged for them. Also, just saw a recent review with the same issue only two days prior. This sounds like a general practice of this location of scamming people. So much for being an honest customer and doing the right thing in taking care of the equipment I used. I am at this point still working on trying to get that $150 refunded.ROBERT F.

I was told, no problem just leave the truck and you're good. One day later, I get a bill of a $150 damage fee to the truck. There was absolutely NO damage to the truck. He would not let me stay to review the truck with him, just told me to leave, and under the impression we were good. I even returned the truck a day early and was still charged. The truck I used had either a motor or transmission issue. It was terribly underpowered going up hills, both loaded and unloaded. Sounded like a popcorn popper when going up a hills under load.STEPHEN S.

Attendant there at 8am on November 18th was very nice and accomodating. But when I got in the truck it was not clean and I could tell the cab had not been dusted or vaccumed. When I spend $1911.00 dollars at least clean the vehicle please. SINCE JUNE OF 2021 I HAVE SPENT MORE THAN $3.000.BARBARA C.

Had to go to 3 different locations to secure the equipment that i RESERVED ON LINE. I was not familiar with the area and had to get directions to each location for every venue I visited that day. If you say equipment is reserved at a particular location, then it should be there and ready to be picked up at the requested time. Did not make the deadlines for loading and delivery of the furniture as promised (I am known for always being on time). Yes, the staff did give me a size upgrade for the same price, but my down time was frustrating. Staff at all three locations were understanding, but the people I was moving furniture for were upset that I was not on time. Irondequoit, NY location was very professional and got me the trailer quickly. BOTTOM LINE... IF A CUSTOMER RESERVES A TRAILER AT A PARTICULAR LOCATION AND TIME, THEN IT SHOULD BE THERE WHEN IT WAS SCHEDULED TO BE PICKED UP! (The return in Jamestown was an excellent experience! ).Joseph T.

The pickup was without incident. Lights were checked by the employee on site, and he said all were OK. Well into the trip, at a rest stop, I rechecked the lights. the dolly left taillight was dim, and it did not improve when I braked or turned on the left turn signal. I continued the trip having no reasonable alternative. I don't know what happened, but you should check the left lamp on this dolly.WILLIAM D.

Both of the gentlemen working were helpful, I had trouble on my phone with self check in and when I returned a guy came right out to check me in and let me know when I would see my credit returned to my debit card. they did not have the size truck i reserved so it took me an extra trip to move. truck rental cost was the same but at $.99 a mile it cost me $50 more than expected. i would suggest u-haul discount the mileage cost when this happens or don't over book the trucks if that is what happened. i suspect a bait and switch but not sure.Terry T.

Facility was clean and well-maintained. Jose and Roger (his name might not be Roger - he was working on 11/7/21 and processed our move-out) were super nice and helpful. Everyone else who worked there was incredibly rude. Almost as though they went out of their way to be so. Customer service training may help. Just basics like remember it’s okay to smile, greet your customers, don’t act like you are doing them a favor every time you have to do your job.
