Kenisha Watkins who was wearing an "owner" name tag, is by far the rudest employee I have dealt with in customer service, in a long time. She was not willing to help AT ALL when I discovered the 10 foot trucks did not have a ramp, she in fact proceeded to tell me I was wasting my own time by standing there trying to come up with a solution, not once did she offer any type of suggestions or assistance on what could be done. Her snide attitude really took me over the edge. I am the regional manager for 6 multi-million dollar customer services industries and this is NOT how you treat customers. She needs a lot of assistance and training on how to properly treat customers. My entire experience with U-Haul was very upsetting, I would have to think long and hard about whether I would rent from U-Haul again.

We recieved the uhaul with no gas! Was given only a 30 credit. Upon returning it with 3/4 full we were told we should've brought it back empty. While returning the uhaul it more than 30 min. Because of all the pictures and retakes we had to call uhaul to see why it wasn't uploading then we were told they had to be live photos. That's something that should been disclosed either in contract or on website or better just ask for video. Then the website shows a drop box at this location there is none so that prompted another phone call to uhaul and 3 transfers. The pick up experience was just as bad. Ive rented from uhaul several times and this is by far the WORSE experience. If ever I need another truck or storage it will not be uhaul.

The inside of the van appears to not have been vacuumed in a while and there was paper trash in the interior of the cab, Although this didn't affect my needs for the van, I was honestly surprised to see this,

Reservation did not appear on the app for me so I was unable to do the return after hours. Called U HAUL for assistance when trying to do check in after hours, associate sent me a useless video about how to do to the check in after hours, then hung up on me. App on phone difficult to use and navigate.800 number given for after hours locations and drop offs tells customers to call back during regular business hours. I had to press reservations, which gave me the aforementioned associate who hung up on me. Overall POOR experience with U HAUL based on lack of truck maintenance, lack of ease of driving, and horrible customer service on the phone.

Picking up auto transport was not easy and was confusing as to what the final price was going to be. Personnel were helpful but it was a very long process and required upper management assistance. Truck pickup was fine.

Two complaints, one was being charged for after hours drop off. I called and they credited. Second, the truck supposedly was full when I got. After driving 18 total miles, I had to put 20.00 in gas to refill. The prior renter definitely did not return it with fuel and I got to pay for there fuel. Not good customer service. These trucks really need to be checked for fuel.

George and the staff are very helpful and courteous. George was extremely nice when I called and told him the size truck I was looking for, he informed me not to worry and that he had more than enough 10' trucks. The process was very seamless and their trucks are in great condition. I would definitely be going back to this location and referring it to anyone I know.

Major confusion from U-Haul customer service. I was randomly assigned this drop-off location (Charlotte, NC) even though it was not where we were going (Gastonia, NC). I called and requested a Gastonia drop-off. I was first told it was a $20 charge to change the drop-off location. I was then told it MIGHT be up to double the originally billed amount (~$287). Very disappointing. When we arrived at Sharon Road W location, 15 mins before closinymg, the staff initially told us that despite the online confirmation, they could not accept the drop-off at this location and we would have to go to ANOTHER U-Haul location! After some complaining, they finally agreed to take the truck & trailer back. Very disappointing and total lack of organization by U-Haul!

The only really BIG issue we had was with whoever handled our pick up location and changed it the day before pick up. So when we went to the new location where our truck was supposed to be ready at 7:30am and discovered it didn't open until 9, even though our reservation clearly said guaranteed 7:30am and we had expressly requested counter service, not mobile!!! We had to go to a franchise location to finally get a truck. Because of this screw up, we were delayed over an hour! This was a massive inconvenience and stress for us that we did not need, but once we finally got the truck, all went pretty smoothly. The truck was fairly dirty though, sticky gunk all over the dials on the dash. Not too big a deal, but needed cleaning. I will say that Kenisha Watkins at the final pick up location was very professional and helpful.

The online system doesn’t work properly with network errors wasting my time (1 out of 10 rating) and the wait times to talk to a representative are outrageous (1 out of 10). The local guys can’t even see my online order so the dolly and pads were not on the truck when I arrived. The truck had a massive vibration at 50-55 mph, if I wasn’t local I’d have returned it.

I have rented vehicles several times from this location and always had a very positive experience. This time was good as well; however, one item of note in hopes that it is positive feedback. Upon returning the van there were no open spots (that I could see) to park vehicle. The only spot was a space on the grass next to the paved lot. I quickly received a stern and very unfriendly admonishment from the U-Haul employee that he could be fined $500 for parking on the grass. I apologized but got no response other than a continued look of disgust. Subsequently turning in the keys and asking if there was anything left to wrap up the rental elicited nothing more than a quick and less-than-pleasant "no" response. No "thanks" or anything that would want me to continue to use this location again in the future.

Although we tested the lights on the trailer before leaving the pick-up location, they did not work the next day. Wiring was intermittent. Fortunately, I had a spare in my truck. Otherwise it would have been a challenge at 5 am. Thoroughly check lights before pulling away.

They have over charged $15 telling me that I went over mileages. I have checked in the google map that how much I will be driving and then after that I have extra 6 miles so that I wouldn’t go over mileages while I was in the store. Still this Uhal services overcharged. Poor service, wouldn’t recommend to use this services as my brother-in-law also got overcharged by this people. Better to use other rental truck services. ??

Send the receipt as PDF file not a PNG file, inspect the truck with the customer both before and after the rental and don't park the truck on a hill when verifying the amount of fuel (my original reading was 7/8 of a tank but it was 3/4 - I had the representative correct it).
