1. We had to change pick up location. 2. I had to wait an hour at pick up because the system wasn't working. It took her an hour to decide to restart her system, after which it worked perfectly. The entire time she did not call tech support to get assistance. 3. The truck had 30 miles of gas in it at pick up. 4. When we pulled the ramp out there was shattered glass all over it that never got cleaned up. 5. We had to change the drop off location. 6. We called the customer service line to dispute all of this. The lady who took the call told us we needed to call the customer service line after drop off to note the issues instead of just noting the issues. We asked to speak to a supervisor, spend an hour and twenty minutes on hold and they hung up. So, yeah. 0/10 do not recommend. Next time we will rent with Penske or something.KATIE H.

There was a young gentlemen there that saw that I was in a boot struggling to get things in and out of the U-haul and without even asking for help, he told me to get down that he would gladly assistant me in anyway he could. It would be nice if you would have an option on returning the truck 4 people 60 + that may be height restricted and hard to open enclose the back of the truck for the photos required when we turning it on your required online process. The general manager did not have a good attitude and was not prompt in helping us. We tried to rent a furniture mover but she first told us she did not know what that was, and when we pointed them out she said they were unavailable. We were given keys to a truck that was boxed in and when we went back to let her know, she basically told us it was our problem and gave us a handful of keys to sort out which truck to move. She also couldn't find the keys to the truck in front of ours. She then proceeded to accuse us of stealing a furniture mover even though it was one we brought out of our car and clearly had a Lowe's sticker on it.KATHERINE F.

The ignition switch kept getting stuck so it was hard, at times to start the truck. So I left it running, fearing that turning the truck off would be hard to switch the ignition on again. Well, then, the battery died and we had to go hunt for some jumper cables; which is why I had to request additional time with the truck. ðŸ˜žWILMARION B.

R&k express was my original Drop off but they were closed though it wasn't stated on the ihaul website. I also called them to see if they were open since I already went once. Their hours are also listed wrong in uhaul. They don't open until 10am. Phones were busy for 3 hours. Horrible service from R&K expressKEVIN H.

I had to wait close to an hour and a half after my pick up time for a truck or take a smaller one for the same price with no discount then returning the truck was bad also I could not navigate the online check in and then it said take pics of the inside I couldn't because we had already locked the truck and dropped the key so I could not complete the online return the workers we not sympathetic at all that I had movers waiting and I had to pay them extra for waiting then when we tried calling customer service we were on hold for like 45 minutes bad experience just bad time consuming and priceyMONIQUE L.

I am so beyond frustrated with my experience at this Sharon Road location. Doug was a pleasure to work with, however, that is where my positive experience ends. I returned my U box rental container on July 21, 2021. My account was not closed out properly by this location. On July 26, 2021 my credit card was charged $125.20 for another month's rental. I immediately contacted the store. They said they would refund my credit card. I still have not been credited. I have called many times, after having to hold for 30+ minutes, I have left message after message. I have not had my calls returned. It is beyond ridiculous. I used U Haul to relocate some of my father's belongings after his unexpected passing. After his house sells I will have more to relocate and WILL NOT use U Haul again.Emily K.

When I opened the truck there was a man who appeared to be homeless in the truck smoking a cigar and drinking a beer. The inside of the truck was filthy no COVID sanitized at all with a unknown liquid filling the cup holders. The fount end shook violently at 65 mph. The locator services did not work to allow after hours return. I spent a total of 1.4 hour on hold with your customer service line attempting to contact someone about returning the truckpeter F.

My only complaint is the reservation center did not relay my reservation to the site. When we got there, there were no more large units available. We ended up with two smaller units on the second floor- not the large unit we could just drive up to. VERY INCONVENIENT! Especially after driving in from Florida. Manager was amazing and tried to make this right but it took over an hour of our valuable time. Reservation Center sold me an office space not a storage unit! But she didn’t have that either. Had a frustrating situation, bit it was handled well. When I arrived to my storage that was assigned, there was another lock on it. The ladies in the office gave me a key to remove their lock that didnt work, so I had to go back to the office. They ended up reassigning me to another storage, luckily next to it. The management and staff at 1400 Sharon Rd. W. U-Haul were always friendly, courteous and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better customer service experience and is my reason for an excellent overall experience rating. Might be helpful if U-Haul addressed the elevator glitch. Oftentimes I could check in with my card at the front gate, yet unable to access the elevator to my 2nd floor storage unit. The card reader at the elevator either wouldn’t read my card or would read it and yet the elevator would still not work.This caused the manager and staff to have to interrupt what they were doing to come and help me resolve it.
