The location is in a construction zone and the road is closed that you’re supposed to use. They have the poor employee working out of a shipping container! He was excellent, super helpful and professional, but the drop off location itself is a disaster. Equipment and supplies blocking everything, no good spots to even park the trailer for him.

Don FFirst of all I went to the location (Tacoma Dome) to pick up at 2. They informed me that the person with the van was keeping it for another day. But she informed that another one would come at 3. She informed that since my reservation was guaranteed that i would receive a $50 voucher of cash. I came back at 3. A van was ready to go and he was very fast on cleaning and processing my rental agreement. Brought it back the next day and another employee greeted me and made the check in process fast. All and all the employees was great in that situation and grateful for the $50 but i wish there was more options. I was late and had to give my client a $100 credit because i was supposed be there by 3 and I couldn't set up until 3:45. I appreciate everything and thanks for your business.
BILLY NUpon pickup the online check-in gave us a code to unlock the truck and access the key. The wrong lock was on the truck so we called an associate to help us, he unlocked the door and then left. We went inside the truck and the key wasn't even in there so we had to call him again to get the key. As we turned on the car, the fuel warning alert was on and the tank was on E. We attempted to make it to the nearest gas station but ran out of gas and were stuck on the side of the road for half the rental time. Then we realized the lock that was originally supposed to be on the back of the truck was in the cup holder.
Awnykah PThe lady running the place did great. She was fighting "the backup system" as the primary was down. The truck was a junker, 122K miles, but did the job on a short trip.

Don FTruck gas was on Empty, I was told I would be credited $60 dollars due to the truck gas being on empty but only got $29 back.

Alexis MThe manager in that location was rather rude in a sense of his information that he provided was not correct and he knew this. He lied to my face and continue lying throughout the whole time as I wanted to drop off the rental he said that they would be filing a report as a stolen vehicle because I was past due on the days which that was incorrect took my keys because he said that we were past due on the days and that it needed to be returned on the 16th which clearly on my receipt it says from the 13th to the 20th. I feel like we’re getting overly charged on a lot of things that were promised but not completed because of this I have not been able to rent another U-Haul until I pay my bill which I would nicely appreciate if we can negotiate based out of how I was treated and accused as a liar when I know the information was correct on my end other than that service was good. The Rental was clean when I picked it up and it was clean when I returned it.

The office was freezing, the van was dirty with nasty old cups of ranch dressing in the cup holders, the gas was a little over a quarter of a tank and the guy who brought the dolly i rented didn't even put it in the van for me. I have rented u hauls before and I really got to say this place did not care for customer service nor did they have the courtesy to bring the van from the liner of vans they had.

DON FReservation got transferred all the over to this location….Lady at desk lacks in social skills and the office could use a definite cleaning and orginzed. Need to train lot techs how to hook up trailers. The lot tech was nice but hooked all my safety cords onto the red emergency hook because he wasn’t sure where to hook the other two cords too. Luckily I caught it before I left their lot. He needs to take a broom with him as for the trailer had lots of debris along with nails, screws and broken glass which is a major issue because we haul barefoot plants and that all sticks in the soil so when we reach for the bottom of the plant… goes into our hands. Had issues with flat tires. Desk clerk did try to rectify all situations but left a “don’t rent from this location ever again” impression.

DON FI can’t think of anything. Everything was easy and convenient through the phone app. The customer service agent at the location was friendly and helpful.
THERESA SFirst had to got two different location to pick up the U-Haul. Got in the U-Haul and the gas was on E after being told it was above halve. The attendant put some gas in it so I can make it to the gas station. Went to leave after filling the U-Haul and the check fuel inlet came on. Took it back and when they siphoned the gas the took of a part. The attended replace (nice guy) and said we were good. All the way to our new home gas fumes were noticeable, the warning light never went off.
DAVID HShoo away the urban campers, the junkies, the prostitutes, and the urban camping junkie prostitutes. I would’ve picked up the truck on time if I felt comfortable parking at the pickup location, but I didn’t. So, I had to wait for a ride out there.

DON FWhen I went to pick up the trailer, the general manager was extremely unprofessional, unkind, unwelcoming, and to be blunt just rude. She acted like I was a disturbance to her by coming to the location. The representative who received the return of the trailer was quite the opposite. He was friendly, approachable, and professional.
QUINCY TThe guy worked really hard to help. I was VERY UNIMPRESSED with U-Haul. I set up the request on. Reservation online. Asking for a transport container to haul the contents of a studio apartment - what I got was FAR from something that needed to haul a queen bed let alone the rest of the apartment. What a waste of time. The guy worked hard to help correct the issues. But he seemed new at his job as well. Either way he worked hard for me.
APRIL SDidn't realize that the fuel was empty until after I left. Didn't have time to return and get a new truck.

DON FService representative was friendly, attentive and provided great support.. My only negative is the tire strap had been cut down shorter and we could not use it for the vehicle we had to move. We had to use our own strap. Other than that, the trailer was great.

Steve B | First ImpressionsI had my things stored for about 2 years, and in those two years the store moved around. The ease of opening one of the bay doors to load and unload was not there this time. It was much harder moving a big toolbox down the ramp and across the pavement. Not the best.
