Nothing, the employees at this location were literally the best UHAUL employees I've ever worked with. They took care of everyone, including us, who showed up just after 6pm knowing they closed at 7. And they didn't rush anyone, they had great communication between each other, and just from the 45 minutes I spent here, including drop off, they seem to keep that place well organized. The whole rental ended up being a waste of time as I have to move the item I used the rental for back to where it was, but at least I know exactly where to go for the best UHAUL service I've ever received.MATTHEW F.

This was the absolute worst experience of my life. The customer service support was not only slow, but rude. Next time, I will look for another service provider. I stood in line forever. Saw multiple people leave due to the amount of time it was taking. I finally had to just ask if I could just leave the trailer outside and I was told just leave it between the driveway lines. Then they walked out to the back. While the young man who started to help me was extremely nice, over all employees very unprofessional. Chatting i themselves while customers were waiting, no sense of customer service skills. Could not pre pay online or check out when I returned the trailer at 7:30 pm last night. I had to call customer service wait on phone for 15 minutes and sent her pictures I had taken. Tried calling back this morning to make sure everything was okay, was on hold for over 30 minutes and then disconnected. This was the second time I've used this location in the last 2 years. Both times I went in the day before to get everything set up for the next day. Both times the paperwork was wrong and had to be redone when I went in to pick up the trailer I was renting. This last time the person I dealt with was the Manager and he stated that it was a "Cluster Fuck" when he came in this morning. The trailer I reserved was without a ramp, but when I went to pick it up, all the had were trailers with ramps. He let me take one with a ramp without extra charge. That was nice of him. When I went in the day before, the woman I worked with said she was new and asked for help from the person in charge. He was sitting at the counter eating his lunch as I was checking in. As it turned out, she did the paperwork wrong and we had to start from scratch when I went in to pick up. This was exactly what happened the last time I rented from this location. Unfortunately, Uhaul is the only game in town, so I came back. I had the same experience this time as I did the last time and I expect it to be the same the next time. If I had another choice to use when renting a trailer, I would go someplace else, but that's not the case. I will NEVER recommend Uhaul, but unfortunately you are the only game in town where I live, so when I need a trailer or truck, I have to use this location. That's why I go the day before to reserve a vehicle. Every time it's been messed up when I go to pick up. On the plus side, the person I dealt with when I went to pick up has always made it right, but is this the way to run a business? Uhaul sucks, but it's the only game in town.CYD V.

I picked up a truck for rental on 6/23/2020 the kid who checked me out helped me get it but forgot my dolly! Only needed it for an hour I brought it back close to close and informed them I didn't not get a dolly so I didn't want to be billed for it! The first trailer I was assigned had multiple issues which seemed to be attributed maintenance (no brake fluid and broken safety chain). The yard attendant was very quick to fix the issues but it still took 45 mins just to pick the trailer up.JACOB V.

This is hands down the worst storage facility experience I’ve ever had. Staff wasn’t helpful. Are storage door was really damaged and when we told them they just ignored it. Also my storage was broken into and nobody ever really helped out. When I called corporate to find out the status of my situation. They had not been informed of what had happened. Apparently the employee that reported the incident never properly informed corporate about the incident. I’m very disappointed in how uhaul chose to handle this situation. It appears to me that this was a inside job because whoever broke into my storage knew my code and only targeted my unit. No other unit was broken into. Regarding the Mcclintock storage: NEGATIVE STARS for management communication. I had a storage locker for my child who attends ASU. I was driving through Tempe to collect the stuff and return home. All I wanted to know was if my gate card had a numerical code in which I could use if the card did not work. That's all. A thirty second phone call. I called the McClintock phone number three times, each time on different days, at different hours as it said while on hold they were "busy". Really? That busy? They couldn't answer it and say we are slammed busy, we'll be right there to help you. Each time I was on hold for more than 15 minutes. NO ONE picked up or picks up the phone. After the 15 minutes of holding I was then transferred to a national call center who told me they left messages for the manager or employees at Mcclintock to call me back. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. NOT AN EMAIL. NOT A TEXT. NOTHING. It's always funny how a business is happy to take your money but when it comes time for customer support everyone just happens to be busy. If I was late on my payment, managers/employees find the time for late fees and collection centers. My final time I called, I stayed I hold yet again for yes, you guess it 15 minutes. And yes, I was transferred one more time. This time though it was to Neferti Hernandez. She took my information and even emailed and texted the McClintock manager to contact me through email, phone or text. Once again. NO ONE did. They couldn't give me 30 seconds of their time. Now If I were to give Neferti Hernandez a rating: 50 STARS. Yes fifty. I hope this email or response finds a way to her manager as she deserves praise. Uhaul is beyond lucky to have a polite, considerate, friendly, responsible person who was competent. I could write 100 more positive adjectives about her. The manager at McClintock should call Neferti Hernandez and learn how 2 minutes of being helpful goes a long way. Manager at McClintock Uhaul, please remember, you are not the only storage facility in Tempe. In business, you're only as good as your last job. You make hard working people like Neferti look bad. This facility needs major work as far as customer service is concerned. Every time I called the facility, no one answered the phone and I would be automatically connected to the corporate office. Living out of state temporarily and being unable to connect with the office staff where my storage unit was, made for a very uneasy feeling and had me constantly worried, until just yesterday when I was able to clean and close out my unit. Tony, the previous manager, was the best employee this location had. I would never recommend this location in general, whether it be for a moving truck, storage facilities or even moving supplies, to anyone I know, as I would hate anyone I know to feel the way I had. Everything with you guys has been great till we got their Friday to empty the unit. Two guys working on Friday 8/14 around noon were beyond rude , not helpful, and very unprofessional. My son, Sean went to the counter politely told the two guys that he left his key at home (in California) could they help him get into his unit. One guy looked at the other guy rude and sarcastic and said "what can we do? " They pretty much said we can't help you at ALL period. My son asked can a locksmith help? Can you recommend a locksmith if so? They said" No " and "No"... Just rude and unprofessional. Then, when I stepped up they said it's a liability. That is fine to me, but I'm sure they've been in this situation before and could of had a different approach and been more helpful..
