Experience started off pretty negative. Was assisted by a rep named Rico who was extremely rude and unprofessional. The system went down as he was running my card information. Rico proceeded to loudly tell me that my card was declined and that I needed to check and see if I had enough money to cover the truck. There were several customers in the store that heard this exchange. I tried to explain that I had the funds to cover the transaction but he would not admit that it could be an issue with their system. Bennie saved the day and took over my order. It turned out that there was an issue with their system. I have never been so publicly embarrassed. Rico never apologized or showed anything other than horrible, terrible customer service. He just kept saying that he just wanted to eat his breakfast. I would use this location again, but only if Rico was not involved in my transaction at all. If I was a business owner he is absolutely not the kind of person I would want representing my business. Bennie was very helpful and apologetic, but it did not make up for Rico's lack of basic human decency.aryn C.

ALWAYS get a paper copy of your return receipt: The pick up and return of the trailer I rented went great. . The employees were very nice and helpful and since I was only using it for the day one employee even let me borrow an adapter for my truck lights. Great people. My issue started two days later when U Haul called me wanting to know when I was going to return the trailer. I told them I had returned it and who I had talked to. They said they would take care of it but Then two more days later I got another call from U Haul wanting to know when I was going to bring the trailer back. I went by there after work to talk to them and again they said everything was taken care of. I checked my email and never found where they sent me a return receipt email so I.will always get a paper copy in the future.Lance U.

I was not told there was a location change of my uhaul. I was given an address, got there, and they told me I was at the wrong place. The guy on the phone said he would add a dolly free of charge and an extra day free since I booked with them. This was not true. I had to pay for the dolly and extra day if wanted. The light in the cab of the truck didn't work neither did the lock go lock my things in the truck. I had to come out of pocket to buy a padlock to secure my items overnight. The manager of the place was more worried about playing on his phone than helping me check in my truck after moving.TERRAH O.

As noted in the comments about pick up location, when I arrived to drop the truck, it was showing I never had picked up the truck and they were not able to locate my account to process the return. They went above and beyond, looking up the truck and trying to contact the place where I picked up the truck. They finally spoke to someone who was rude and said they'd have to wait til the next day to handle the issue. So they hung up the phone, and apologized and went out of their way to show hospitality and assured me that they would get the issue resolved and I did not have anything to worry about. They said I could leave the vehicle with them and I was ok to go.Daniel H.

1. I reserved a truck and trailer a month in advance. But when it was time to pick up, there was no trailer. I had to drive 2 towns over to bring the truck to the trailer, then take a cab at my expense back to the other site to get my car. I was a day late moving. 2. The person that strapped my car down only strapped one wheel down. I had to stop at a Uhaul along the way to help strap the other wheel down. 3. The truck was available one day, but the trailer wasn't ready until the next day. But my 5 day countdown started when the truck was ready, not when the trailer was ready, which was the day I could actually start my move. 4. The price for keeping the truck an extra day is 40 dollars. But the Uhaul site in Alabama said I had to bring in the truck and swap it out for a different truck if I wanted an extra day. This was 2 hours of unexpected labor on my end, and I was charged 168 dollars, instead of the advertised 40 dollars stated in my contract. - I am incredibly displeased with my experience with Uhaul from the beginning of my experience in Boston all the way to the end of my experience in Alabama. The one positive, the gentleman that assisted me in Mobile, a short hispanic man that claimed to have worked there for 7 years, I don't remember his name, he was incredibly friendly a and polite.BRADFORD R.

We pulled up under the covered parking with our trailer and waited as the sign instructed for returns. After about 10 minutes (it was raining) I put on my rain coat and went inside. There were two men behind the counter with no one in the store. They were not friendly, not really helpful and seemed somewhere between apathetic and irritated with having to help. One walked over and pointed where to park the trailer and that he would take it out. Never said a word about a receipt or anything else. I realize it is hard to find help these days, and it certainly appears to be hard to find good help.Gary F.
