DAVID KIt's ridiculously expensive to rent a truck. $1.29 per mile is freaking unheard of
DELANO FI’ve rented from this location multiple times and each time customer service was good. This last time, nope. Walked in and Luke T. Was behind the counter. Not nice at all. Seemed bothered by us being there. Had Beats headphones on his head but was nice enough to move out of the way of one ear while he helped us. Had the personality of a piece of wood. When we went to get the trailer gave us no indication of where to go, just had to watch him bee bop to where we thought we had to go. His beats were on both ears now. He kept them on while he hooked up our trailer only to move them off when we talked with each other, he thought maybe we were talking to him. Worst experience at this location by far. Surprised his coworkers and even the GM of the place didn’t correct him while he was around them and had his headphones on. I’d still rent from them because of past experiences but this one was a glaring difference of the other times I’ve rented here and would not like to be helped by him in the future.

JEREMIAH HWhen it was reported to the employee who checked in the truck, regarding the truck severely pulling to the right , her response was, the trucks ride bumpy. This truck needs maintenance before it goes back out for another move.

RYAN OEssence, our customer service rep was fantastic! She was thorough & wanted to make certain we got the trailer we needed, she knows your products! Essence is pleasant & easy to work with & very helpful. I would definitely recommend UHaul rentals based on my experience with this employee.
PEGGY MDo not use Foulkes Portable Buildings as a drop off location in Pinson, TN. Send them to a real U-Haul location in Jackson, TN. The Foulkes location should be eliminated. No one was there to accept the trailer during its posted open hours, beginning at 9 a.m. I left the trailer at he location at 10 a.m. a day early. I left a note with my phone number, called and left a message, and sent an email, and no one from the location contacted me. I had to call the renting location in Arizona and the national phone number to get assurance that I would not be charged for extra days, as I had no idea when the location would actually have someone working there.

TRAVIS SThe Ford Truck is a truck; Ford should be ashamed for building a nice looking truck used for moving material, it drove like an old cow with 2 legs. The jittering of that truck felt like there was a wild party going on in the cargo bay, I actually pulled over, opened the cargo bay hoping to find a wild party in progress, absolutely nothing, I was disappointed; but the jittering continued. On the serious side, the drivers seat needs to be raised up 4 to 6 inches, I could just see over the dash, I'm 5'9" tall, and felt like a midget. Next time I rent a 26' U-Hall truck, I will bring my own booster seat, I like to see where the front of the truck is headed. Also, I think the brakes need to be checked, I had to press quite hard on the brake pedal to slow the truck down, and to stop the truck. I might just be weak, I have no idea which is worse, hard to press brake pedal, or just an old leg.

VERNON BOur overall experience with U-Haul has been awesome. The staff and employees working in both Yuma annd Queen Creek area were awesome. Very professional, knowledgeable, and willing to assist in anything you needed. I highly recommend U-Haul to anyone for their special moves. Thank you for all your help.

BRANDON OThis was our first time using this Uhaul location for a trailer rental, and it was even better than our usual place! These guys are customer service rockstars -- Terra helped us with the rental process and was so kind and patient with us even though we were a couple hours late to pick up, and Daniel was such a fun energy (my husband says you dropped your crown, Daniel!). Customer service seems to be dead these days, but not at this Uhaul location. We're so grateful to have a place that is so friendly and so close to home! We will definitely be back and will look forward to it!
BRANDON OThe people were professional and fast., my issue are the hidden fees. I rented the vehicle at 330pm and the store closed at 5pm,. so because I returned it after hours ya'll charged me an additional $20. $1 a mile is robbery. I don't even get that much $ for my new C8 corvette on Turo. The truck states $19.99 but my bill ended up at ~ $120. It's a bit misleading & I'll likely avoid using U-Haul in the future to rent a truck.

HEIDI BTold the member I would be dropping it off in litchfield park where my address is and he gave me an in town truck. Due to that I had to pay an extra $250 I called the store numerous times to try and resolve the issue and 4 times they said they would talk to their manager and give me a call back, they never did. I would call them back and get the same response for 4 days in a row and then they just charged my card.

KELLY BThe access code box outside of the loading dock has not worked since we moved in. I always had to use the office code box. 50% of the time it still set off the alarm despite saying access confirmed. Went to our unit on Wed 9/24 with the movers to retrieve some of our belongings and there was a tie on the door saying we had a past due balance on our account and had an additional $200 fine. I had to be interrupted at work to provide screenshots from the app that we were enrolled in auto pay, did not have a balance, and also provided CC statements. The next day we removed all of our belongings, closed our account, and went to public storage. Your facility is shiny and new, but it wasn’t worth the hassle of constant technical difficulties. I have still yet to see a prorated refund since 1 left 10 days after my September payment.

RICHARD HThe folks at the UHall store were very friendly and helpful. They mention that it’s a 24 hour truck reservation so if we need it past a certain time, just give them a call and that would be no problem when I called the 800 number to request extra time within the 24 hour timeframe I was told it’s gonna be an extra $70 to make that happen. There’s some poor communication between the folks and the store and the folks in the corporate call center. We were just trying to extend a time a little bit within our 24 hours allotted, but it’s disappointing that we couldn’t do that even though we were told otherwise. This is one of those small things that big corporate companies just don’t do well and it’s kind of sad and disappointing because you would think with all that money floating around U-Haul they’re not trying to nickel and dime you for every last little bit of it. We also picked up a storage unit over the same place as we’re gonna get our first month for free, now I’m reconsidering this cause I don’t wanna have a terrible experience every month here on out every time I try to go in and out of the facility and check my bill. On a whole, the experience with the people in the store was great, but as soon as I picked up the phone for support, I was met with challenges on my very first phone call not a good first impression.

MORAN MThe facility was beautiful. Two issues: 1. elevator was broken which impacted my move date (I was unable to leave when I wanted to). While the broken elevator was not the fault of the staff, not being able to get to the second floor by any other means was NOT convenient and could possibly be dangerous. 2. I was told I would only be billed for actual time used - that the rental was prorated. When I checked out, I was told that they can not prorate my rental. So, 15 days wasted...which I could not use at any other facility.
