Wish the website be updated with what equipment would be available, on any given day. We had a hard time scheduling a pickup for use. The website acted as we could rent it locally, but when they would call us about our reservation, we had to drive a good amount of distance to get the equipment we needed. Yet the website gave us the false sense that they had this equipment available at our local dealer, when they did not! With a connected world and gps, they should know where all their given equipment is at all times. For these are the Assets of this company and biggest revenue. So why wouldn't you Apple ID in sense. So when these items are needed a customer will know if it is Available locally or has to make the choice to travel outside the local area. Overall good experience just bad listings for website, told one thing but the opposite was true. It's a digital world, get on board or sink in the deep end!Shannon V.

Point blank. The employees were rude and incompetent. Only took my car in to get a hitch and harness installed to save time. Not only did they not have the parts for my appt, in which they did not notify me prior so I arrived only to be turned away. Then when it finally came time the parts were in stock, they ended up installing the harness wrong and because of that couldn't reassemble my interior trim properly. They then blamed it on the age of the vehicle and blew me off. I ended up fixing it myself only after several hours with customer service to get my labor and fuel for the unnecessary trip refunded. We originally had a reservation at Nolte's in Oshkosh. They did not have the trailer when we arrived. No apologies and minimal assistance, as well as no regard for the complete waist of my time. The Ohio Street location's manager was FANTASTIC. I will not be doing business with Nolte's moving forward. It's Ohio Street for me!JOHN M.

When I picked up the truck I was told it was 7/8 and it was 3/4. I was in a hurry to get back to Sheboygan from Oshkosh location and I didn't have time to tell the pick up people they had the wrong gas gage for my rental. I just thought to tell the drop location and the drop didn't care and charged me another 10.50 for gas. Also, the windshield exterior weather strip fell off 10 minutes into the rental. I had to pull over and take the strip off, hands and clothes got all full of black tar. Night mare. Also, I didn't appreciate having to drive 60 minutes to get my rental when there are 3 or 4 Uhaul locations in Sheboygan.THOMAS F.

We originally went into a different uhaul location and we were completely unimpressed..we received zero help from the person working at the time and ultimately left frustrated and without a storage unit. The poor customer service or lack there of led us to this location..our experience at this location was the complete opposite. We had an opportunity to interact with four different associates and they were all equally helpful..knowledgeable and courteous! Rented same trailer last fall. You changed the ramp so you can't get a 6ft piece of equip. In it. No one bothered to tell me nor was it on your site. I waited for 45 min in Jackson st Oshkosh wi and was told the one there was broken and I had to go to another location. Right there I should have told your rep to cramp it where the sun doesn't shine. I am not paying for the rental fee as it was not as described. Worst service ever. Especially when I got locked out of the facility with my storage unit wide open and a truck full of belongings left to be stored. I reserved my truck at the oshkosh location on Koeller st. 3 weeks prior to my rental. My email and text verification told me the pick up was at Koeller st. On the day of the rental I called the koeller location and asked if I could come early to pick up the truck. I was told yes, so I drove across town and when I got there the employee told me they were mistaken and I couldn't pick up my truck until the appointed time. So I was lied to and now wasted an entire half an hour of my morning during my move. I came back at my appointed time, waited in line for 40 minutes, due to horrendously inefficient customer service, only to be told that for some unknown reason I had to pick up my truck at a completely different location. I wasted time coming in early to pick up the truck I was told would be ready and then wasted more time going to the location I was TOLD TO GO TO in my reservations still only to not get my moving truck. I wasted almost an hour and a half of my morning on my moving day. Once I finally received my truck we loaded up and unloaded fine. Then upon returning the truck, I was sent to a closed location and was ensured that I would be able to drop off the truck at a closed location without any extra charge. This was not true. I was charged and extra $20 for doing exactly what I was told to do and ensured wouldn't charge me extra. I'm am extremely mad, frustrated, disappointed with my service and will tell everyone I know not to use your service ever again unless uhaul would like to reach out to me and try to make this right in some way. It was further for us to travel to and the employees were rude. We left and went to the Ohio Street location which is what we had requested in the first place. I really appreciate how user friendly the mobile return was and it was easy to dispute what I felt to be an unfair fuel charge. I will say, there was an empty soda bottle left in my truck. I threw it away but it was just a little gross to have it left there haha Other than that. 10/10Scarlett S.
Ordered two (2) bundles of furniture pads which I was told was to have 12 pads in each bundle. First problem was when we checked the truck they were not in it and we had to go back into the facility to report it. They apologized for the error and gave us two (2) bundles. When we got back to the house and began loading the truck and opened the furniture pad bundles we found only 5 ea in one bundle and 8 ea in the other. My cell phone number was entered by mistake on someone else's U-Haul account. I started getting calls about a past due bill for a storage unit I didn't rent in a town two hours away from where I live. At first I patiently explained to the callers that they had the wrong number on the account. Then I continued to receive calls and messages for several months. Eventually I became less patient with repeatedly explaining the error and asking them to remove my number. Now I received a text message asking me to take a survey and rate my experience. The employees were friendly and helpful enough, but the overall experience was not good. First there was some confusion about the reservation, and the location of the storage unit. Then I got my card and could not get it to work, and one employee could not get it to work, but then the more knowledgeable employee got it to work on the first try. I continued having issues with my key card throughout the move in process, sometimes taking up to 10 swipes to get it to work. It was also extremely frustrating that there was no way or option to keep the door open while moving everything into my unit, especially since I had family helping and I was the only one with the key card. The first unit I was supplies was an 8x10, which I was informed could hold everything on a 15' truck. That unit had a small door and a relatively small hallway which made it nearly impossible to fit my larger furniture in to the unit. When we put my first large item in there, a 3 seat couch, it already took up half the unit. I also did not appreciate that the unit was very dark and had no available light source. Anyway, as soon as we realized the unit would not do, we managed to speak to the employees right as they were closing and thankfully they were still very helpful with switching me to a larger unit. That unit us much nicer and although there still isn't a light source inside, lighting was no issue, and it has a garage door entrance which made it MUCH easier to move my many large items into it.Caitlyn W. | First Impressions

My box springs and king size bed platform took water damage and I threw it away. I was pretty much forced to remove all my belongings from my paid storage unit because they would've removed it themselves. I was left to last second come up with a solution to find a place to store all my things. It also didn't help I was only able to go into my storage on their time. I had to have permission just to go in my storage unit when I paid for 24/7 access. You guys went back on stuff which is in the contract. I had called the facility on 9/24 and indicated that I would be in on Saturday to move everything out of the unit. I stated that I would be willing to pay for the 2 extra days of use. The representative said ok. When I arrived at the facility on Saturday morning at 7:15am. We had to wait for the door to be unlocked even though it was supposed to open at 7:00. We rented a 10' u-haul truck for the expressed purpose of cleaning out the storage unit. Once we were done, we returned the truck to the facility. The person made us wait outside and had a poor attitude when questions were asked about being refunded the difference in mileage. She argued that we were never charged even after me showing her the pending charge on my account. A couple hours after leaving the facility, we received a call from the unpleasant person who had checked in the truck stating that we owed 149.00 for the storage unit. I advised that I had spoken with someone 2 days prior and had advised that I was moving out today and that I would be paying for the 2 extra days of use. And nothing was said about paying the full amount. She said that it was told to me because there is a note on the account. I advised her again that it was not and said that I hope their calls are recorded. She said she would send it to her manager. A little while later I received an email receipt for the payment. I called the facility about it and told them that I do not authorize them to make the charge and I will pay for the 2 days that I stated before and was told ok. The "manager" got on the phone and started saying that she was the one who had spoken to me and that I was told it would be the full amount. I said no listen to the phone call because that was not said. A little while later I received a link via email to the recorded call, which the representative knew I would not be able to access since I am not an employee. Then after sending an email stating that and that I would be calling corporate, I received a screenshot of a note in some account. This was a very poor experience. I have been a uhaul customer for many years and have used u-hauls truck rental at least 4 times in the past 5 years, but around 10 times in my lifetime.
