We were scheduled to drop off at Goodmans Carwash at 1920 Franklin Ave in Waco TX. The place doesn't exist. It's some sort of run down car dealership. It was closed and the gates were locked. We had to find another drop off location.Harry K.

Look, the people that work there are amazing. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Y'all just need more of them! When we were waiting in line to pick up our truck rental, the phone was constantly ringing, and people were piling up behind us. The one associate on the floor was unflappable and handled everything professionally and as quickly as possible, but dang, y'all need more people. Also, the parking situation there is awful. Three regular spaces? Really? That said, the storefront was spotless and well-stocked. I was very impressed at the variety of packing materials available, and for what looked to be a reasonable price. Also, we rented a 15ft truck and utility dolly, and both were perfect for our needs.Brandon T.

I scheduled for a 4 hour window. Then get there & rep told me I only scheduled for 1 hour. I then get a text msg 2 hours later saying my reservation was for 4 hours. Ordered a storage that holds “2 rooms” it was extremely small & did not hold 2 rooms. (False advertisement) I had to cancel everything & then go to a different uhual place. Got assigned a storage only to find out I could not get into the storage because someone else had a lock on it. One of the clerks was rude. As I was letting him know that the back door â€¦ he interrupted and said yea he knew it had been rear ended which was not the problem and had not been reared and walked right out the door. Then came back in and said that the back door appeared to have be attempted to be burglarized. The lock was jimmied. That was right. He was very rude.ANN P.

I was insulted and made to give TWO numbers of people who would vouch I would not steal the trailer. She proceeded to call each of them on speaker phone at the store and ask them if I could be trusted to return the trailer. This was humiliating and I am angry with myself for standing at the counter and allowing that to happen to me. I noticed at that time and when I returned the trailer that the person only asked white people for the two numbers. She allowed another black person to take a TRUCK and just leave a 100 dollar deposit. I mentioned this to the person unhooking the trailer and he stated "yes, she is prejudice that is why I'm transferring". My Husband and I have rented from this store for over 5 years and I will now NEVER return.Peggy M.

I still had to wait, the front desk workers ignored me, and i had to ask for the keys and was still ignored when i asked. First, I reserved a small 10' truck well in advance of my moving date. The day before I am scheduled to pick up the truck, I receive a call notifying me that the location did not have a 10' ft truck. Therefore, an upgrade was awarded. However, the larger the truck, the more fuel required. This was definitely NOT an upgrade. I spent over $300.00 in fuel alone. I asked for some consideration when it came time to settle the final costs, but I was told I had agreed to the terms of the contract. Additionally, the truck itself did not drive well. Above 60 miles/hr., the truck made a very loud whistling noise, which caused much distress for myself and my dog. So much so, that I had to stop and have the truck looked over. Again, this was not taken into consideration with regard to final cost, which totaled all in all $650.00. Never have I had to endure such a high cost for a U-Haul truck. There are more situations that occurred with this experience, but I honestly do not feel it is worth my time detailing here. Lastly, I will never bring my business to U-Haul again.Shealyn S.

I originally made a reservation for a U-Haul location near my home. I even called to verify they had the equipment I needed. Then my reservation was changed to another location that was at 4216 W Waco Dr. So, I accepted the change thinking they would have the truck and dolly that I needed. The morning I showed up there was a long line, and only one employee serving customersâ€¦so I ended up waiting like 30 minutes. I'm not sure what the other employees were doing, but they weren't helping the line move any faster. When my turn finally came they told me they had the truck I needed, but they didn't have anymore appliance dollys. At that point I was extremely disappointed with the customer service with U-haul. What's the point of making a reservation, changing the location for better availabilityâ€¦and still not delivering on what was supposed to be guaranteed??Mark B.

The online check-in was easy and the employees at this location are very friendly. The issue I had was during the move-in process I saw no less than nine roaches. Four crawling on the walls, four on the ground in my unit and in the hallway, and I even had one on a box sitting in the hallway that I went to pick up and move into the unit. Had I not been severely limited with time because of my upcoming deployment I would have refused the move-in and gone elsewhere. There's clearly an infestation and no pest control. I'll have to fumigate everything in the unit before I can move it into a new apartment when I come back from deployment.
