When I made my reservation 3 days prior to needing it I had wanted to pick up at the uhal location on 51st Ave and Glendale since it was only a few streets away from me I got an email confirmation with that address for pick up however when I went to go pick up the truck at the location there were no trucks the size I reserved the female at the desk looked up my name and said she didn't have a reservation for me there I then looked online and pulled up my account to give her the reservation number and again saw that location confirmed for pick up she then informed me she had my reservation for the location at 43rd ave and Camelback. When I told her that I was not going to go all the way down there for a truck she then got attitude and told me well I don't have that size truck here so I don't know what you want me to do and proceed to tell me it was my problem and what would I like her to do about it. She proceeded to be extremely rude and became hostile even yelling at me and making hand gestures towards me as I walked out of the front door after asking her what her name was so I could make a formal complaint about how unprofessional she was. That had to be the most horrific display of beyond poor customer service I have ever dealt with and I work in retail if that was how we treated our customers we would be fired! And on top of that she told me she is a supervisor so that takes it to a whole other level of disrespect!! Her name was Tammica 😒 Thank goodness the accociate at the Camelback location turned the situation around and got me a truck that was the correct size and lowered the cost per mile for the inconvenience of them switching the location without informing me one and two without asking if I was okay with that or would like maybe another location that was closer to me and my destination. I really hope Tammica finds what makes her happy in the job aspect of her life because working for uhaul is clearly not it, she is a very miserable human being and she portrays that out into the world its very sad.Stephanie P.

Uhaul policy: "Your reservation is guaranteed or we will give you $50 should U-Haul, through its own fault fail to meet time, place and equipment size of your truck, trailer or towing equipment, a $50 Reservation Guarantee will be paid & U-Haul will still attempt to fill the reservation..." No cargo van, delaying pick up. CSR Bruce Zuniga offered a larger vehicle and I agreed to the accomodation with the stipulation the $50 credit would apply. Today I receive a receipt withOUT the credit. Corporate CSR said it was denied due to a scheduling error. After being put back in line on the phone, I went to the store with no high hopes as the manager Natalie Packwood was berating, mocking, taunting each customer she spoke with. I provided the company policy as listed on the website. She immediately denied the credit due to truck accomodation. She mentioned investigating yet repeated it would not be honored. I referenced the policies very clear verbage of commitment. After <2 minute conversation I asked for her uplines number due to her behavior; she gave me a card to corporate & told me to leave. I asked again for her direct upline # & she moved to another station taking the next customer, stating she would look into it. I asked for clarification, if she was dismissing me or investigating. She told me to leave & that nothing will be done. I called a Carl Cabaniss Uhual President. I explain the situation, noting the managers abusive demeanor. He stated credit would not be applied due to lack of cancellation. The policy states no requirements of a cancellation to take place to receive credit, mentioned their lack of grounds for refusal to adhere to policy. Disgusted, he said "stop talking if your only going to repeat the policy.. & we have to agree to disagree." Disrespect & discrimination aside, my main concern is the failure to uphold policy and scam their customers with a false guarantees.Brittany W.

From being frustrated when I called to reserve a truck, and how the CSR handled it, to my return... this was the easiest and quickest I have ever had service at Uhaul. I will definitely come to this location in the future! The guys were super friendly, knowledgeable, real and honest. Not one worry! Wanted a 26 ft. Glendale location said 20 was big enough. Should have showed us the difference in size since we reserved 2 weeks in advance. 20 was to small. Had to go to a diff location since where we reserved didn't have truck. Then ended up going to another location for 26 ft. It wasn't returned so back to previous location for 20 ft. Janessa was FANTASTIC in getting us a unit after ours was given away, to which the manager didn't seem very accommodating to give us a discount on anything after she's the one that gave away our reservation made 6 months in advance and ended up having to rent the only unit left which was bigger therefore costing me more. This is not a location specific complaint, but I don't understand the point of making a reservation and paying in advance to reserve equipment at a specific location if UHaul is going to call me less than 24 hours before pick up time and tell me the equipment is not available at the location I made the reservation and I'll need to pick it up in an entirely different city. While the attendant on duty at the time of pickup was expedient (which we appreciated since we had just walked out of another location ten minutes before) and pleasant (although we would have appreciated knowing we would have to bring our own ratcheting straps), the female at the time of drop-off was arrogant, very dismissive, extremely rude, unprofessional, and condescending. We were overcharged, and she refused to address the issue, turning her back to me and walking away when she was questioned about the issue. Another phone call will be made regarding the details of this unwarranted experience. The day's plans had included renting another vehicle for additional needs on the other side of the city. But... I will definitely never bring my consumer dollars to this location again and possibly never to any of your other locations.charlene T.

Okay so I tried to rent a trailer online it would not let me so somebody else went in there and showed them their ID and paid for it with their money but they put the trailer in my name which is totally wrong and now they're trying to come back on me for some extra fees now I am not happy with you guys I'm not impressed and I will not recommend you I am very unsatisfiedGary F.
My one issue was I was quoted a 6 x 12 with a ramp but the trailer with the ramp is not open the full 6' so calls were made around to this location which had a trailer with the whole 6' being open across back.Dale K.

I have never been to a uhaul or storage rental facility and not left feeling like i Paid too much or the service was shitty or rude employees that is until I rented my truck from the uhaul on 4240 w Camelback rd phoenix az 85019. And the two young gentleman working there were absolutely amazing, they fixed every issue that came up as there is always something that comes up to get in the way of a smooth experience. But not this time, 1st my reserved truck had not been brought back on time or not at all while I was there. But they were able to still give me a truck that they had since the reserved one was nor there, and they did that when there were no available trucks "according" to the previous 2 uhaul rental locations. But that was not true so once again like I said I had not had been satisfied ever with any u haul until now. They were able to help me with every thing with out being tide or without saying sorry nothing I can do, they should be the example that is set for all your employees.mark R.

I was charged for damages that I didn't report before leaving. No one informed me to inspect the vehicle before leaving. I don't see how a very miner scratch can cost over $200. A scratch not made by me. I understand the mistakes of not looking at my phone to see the text before leaving. The employees should've known of the scratch before giving it to me. In 2021 This location called me stating they had a monsoon and the roof was leaking and if i can come check my things to see if my unit wad one of the ones damaged. I could not because I moved to Vegas. They said ok we will cut your lock and see if there is any damage and call you while we are doing it so you can see. I say ok. 1 week passes no call. Called them again they say we are waiting for someone to cutthe lock. 2 weeks pass no call. I go to get my things out of storage and my unti was one of the one damaged. Then on top of that i made a reservation for a truck a month before i go to get my things from storage and 7pm the night before i go to get my things Bryce calls saying they dnt have a truck for me. I had to go to another location to get my truck. Instead of doing what the website says "reservation guaranteed. If not $50 off" he gives me $19 off for their screw up. Smh. Unit 210 door is off of adjustment hanging down to the right on the locking side and door hinge on bottom left is moved out about half inch needs to be adjusted. I told the gal that cleans on Sundays that I was moving out. That was two weeks ago. I also left a voice mail on the managers cel phone that I was moving out. I called the office several times and never could get a person on the phone i was there for approx one week.... And it cost me $93. I was hoping to get a partial refund but unfortunately for me.... This particular facility is run by a bunch of kids. Kids that overlook when clients become tenants. Thes "tenants," want to run your moving schedule, because if truth be told, they only want us there in certain times of day. Why? Do you ask? Because if they know when they,,,'ll be there by themselves, then they know when is a good or bad time to do their thing. Usually bad. Oh yeah, almost forgot. If they don't like you, you better keep an eye on your car, otherwise they,ll break all your windows out. How do I know? It happened to me. Overall we have been happy with renting from U-Haul for the past five years for our college students. Our only complaint is the back of the Facility needs better cleaning and monitoring of people hanging out in the back.karin c. | First Impressions
As has now happened 3 times with different UHaul storage locations, I made a reservation online only to show up and it is not available. This is a very common problem with UHaul as they are allowed to overbook their units and can rent them out to someone else even though you have a reservation. It is absolutely maddening when you drive a full truck to a new location, arrive and not have anywhere to put your stuff. UHaul desperately needs to update their software to prevent this from happening. Nobody really seems to care though, they just say that it happens all the time and there is nothing they can do about it. We were lucky enough to get a different unit in this case, but it is not climate-controlled as we had reserved. Being as we will be storing electronics over a very hot Phoenix summer, we are not happy about this at all. But as they will tell you, there is nothing they can do.KAREN P. | First Impressions
