The rental process for truck share is a complete joke. I needed a truck badly and was my first time renting one. Initially I reserved one online for pickup at a business using truck share. Drove there and the app and website were giving an error so I called. They told me I selected truck share but the business set it up as a regular pickup so I had to go into the business to get the keys. After getting off the phone, the business is closed. I called again and they sent me to this same location using truck share. I drove there. I had to go through a selfie and pics of my DL and contacts 3 times with 3 different reps, each saying I had to go into a store. By this time I wasted half my day and had no truck putting me in a position I could potentially lose everything I own. The uhaul store was closed of course so I had no choice but to try again the next day. This time I went inside and they were able to set it up within minutes. I don't understand why the truck share didn't work for me as they didn't say. To add, each of them (that do the 24/7 truck share) were super rude and would tell me to go into a store and close the chat before I could even ask a question. The actual person in the store that I ultimately rented from however was quick and gave me no issues.

I called in to dispute this location- the customer service was horrible. Three truck was dirty, the passenger door was broken & didn't always open. The windshield had a rock crack & i took pics & entered them on the app but the app wouldn't accept the windshield pic....it was horrible.. I received a broken rusty dolly that actually scratched up my furniture. I'm very upset. I got my final receipt & i don't see the refund the rep i spoke to on the phone that told me she was entering- entered. I am still hoping to see the refund she told me. I have been a long standing customer & after waiting almost 15 minutes for help at this location and i was the only customer there is horrible. It was such a bad experience. The dolly was slamming into the truck walls when i left there. Very frustrating & nerve racking. I don't think i will ever come back after this time.

Chat associate was condescending in their message methods and were not helpful obtaining the truck. Even when they called they were not providing solutions. Had to go inside and work with customer service associate to get assistance instead of being able to do it without contact. The key drop off box was also extremely difficult to find.

Not having any knowledge of how the hauling of the trailer I expected Uhaul to be the experts in the situation. However, that's not the case in my situation. I had to request a trailer via online through the uhaul website. Put the details of my vehicle and it gave me my options. Of course I chose the biggest one since I wanted to ensure that I had plenty of room. Reading that I need a tow hitch after reserving the trailer I made that reservation. There was an installation completed but it was a hitch for a one axle not 2 and when I went to get the trailer put on I was standing near my vehicle while the technician was putting the trailer on my car and there was another associate came and had her back towards me and had a whispering conversation with the technician which I found out later when I called to let them know about the chains dragging and breaking that it was about the trailer being to big for my car as well as heavy which again I going out that it's why my rpm's where going crazy when driving. When I went to another uhaul in Texas to fix the chains immediately the Representative said that trailer shouldn't be on my car it was too big. When i finally got to my destination immediately the technicians said that trailer shouldn't have been on my car. I was going to reuse the trailer for another load but had to leave it after all this information and didn't complete my move due to this issue please assist me with coming to a solution on how I resolve this

I said Above average only because I took 21/2 hours of my time and mileage to find a Uhaul moving and storage after picking up my rental uhaul because the back door was locked and I was not given a key on my Keychain for it I was credited $27 but I'm still not satisfied

I did a mobile order at 5am so that I could get done moving early, well I get to the location and cannot get a code for my key. It takes TWO hours for the manager to get there and give me my key. Come to find out they never set the key in the box so I would have had to wait until 7 am to get my key. Needless to say I will never use this service again and I'll be telling my friends and family to make sure they do not use it either.

They cancelled my reservation because I was not there within one hour. They called to say it was cancelled. Not they are going to cancel it. I needed the trailer and they did reserve it again, but had to start all over. They recommended I do it online while driving there. I ordered 36 blankets. The lady said we don't have 36 packs. There are 6 in a pack, how many do you need? She could not lift the trailer to get on the truck. I had to do it. Also had to stop and tighten because it was not tight.

Went in for a hitch installation all went well except the wiring harness is not hooked to the tow hitch it's in the back of my van and has to be pulled out when I need to use talking bout he can't drill through the floor I'm not happy

I wanted a 10 foot truck None was available so They gave me a 15 foot so I asked to price compare and they Did not do that for me as a customer when I got in store they have a customer beside me a 17 foot truck that wanted a 10 foot and price compared for them ! Then I was charged $103 and change I came back with my truck full and clean the same day and was charged another $47.50 for a 24 hour rental I was already over charged for an estimate and then uhaul took a second payment I need Retuned Immediately!! This was a very upsetting experience as I rent from u haul often for my business can someone PLEASE reach out to me I'm this regard so I can get this straightened out and my money refunded

Natalie / Owner was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with as a customer of uhaul for over 20 years and you can check my record … I rent over 6 uhaul a per year and I have never been treated with so much disrespect because she was having a bad day. I made a reservation and when I arrived she gave me the wrong truck and after I was already over 20 miles away she called for me to bring it back when she knew I was already late for an appointment to pick up some very valuable equipment. I was very pissed of then but didn't show it but I took it back because at first she said the rental and miles would be free and I said I wasn't worried about that because I'll be missing out on more in the end then she said I didn't have to worry about the gas , she'll take care of that also since it was her mistake ( you can run the camera back and it will confirm everything I'm saying) so today when I took it back …. A whole different ball game because nothing was in writing!! I have never had an experience like this in 20 years. I thought about going online and sharing my experience because this is not the only moving truck company but it was the only time I had a problem in the 20 years so it's not the company it was just Natalie at 43rd Ave & Camelback

My reservation was not at the location I reserved, I got there at 9am, nobody was there, I waited 20 minutes for the guy to get there. I was sent to another location, where I asked for a discount because of the inconvenience. Yes, inconvenience, I reserved to pick up at 9am and ended up picking up at the Camelback location after 10am. The manager said it was not her problem because she was actually the one accommodating us, that she was not supposed to give us a discount, but the other store who messed up, then she asked me, does it make sense? Excuse me? I'm not stupid, I said "NO" because I don't care if it was at another store, to me, the name, the brand, U-Haul is the whome company, not a division of managers or stores, I thought you were one!!!! She told me then that I can call customer service so they can give me the discount, which I responded, yes, but after I get the trailer, which was after an hour and a half of wait!!! The trailer was dirty, she swept it while we waited for her, one of the backlights of the trailer didn't work, and because it was in the morning, she told me she'll give me a discount of $20 if I took it like that, which I did, why? Because of my house 45 min drive moving from one house to the other. Did I get my $20 discount? NO Was this the first time renting from the same location? NO Am I disappointed from my experience? VERY DISAPPOINTED

The location was very understaffed and undertrained except for one of the CSRs who was trying his best to do everything. The van had vulgar graffiti on the side at time of rental, and the back compartment was not swept. Charges were correct though, and the staff was kind- just overworked.

Was helpful. Also surprised that I had a bad tire right away. The first tire had broken belts but not flat. It just made the trailer bounce at all speeds. The second tire lost its tread then slowly deflated.

Your manager at this location is FULL of DRAMA. I've rented from uhaul for YEARS never had a problem extending my rental when I called in she was very RUDE told me I have 24 hours to return her equipment very unprofessional. I called another office explained my situation and they gave me a new phone number to call talked to Madalyn she was very understanding and told me and reassured me that everything was fine. Thanks for Madalyn she deserves ALL my PRAISE.

In 2021 This location called me stating they had a monsoon and the roof was leaking and if i can come check my things to see if my unit wad one of the ones damaged. I could not because I moved to Vegas. They said ok we will cut your lock and see if there is any damage and call you while we are doing it so you can see. I say ok. 1 week passes no call. Called them again they say we are waiting for someone to cutthe lock. 2 weeks pass no call. I go to get my things out of storage and my unti was one of the one damaged. Then on top of that i made a reservation for a truck a month before i go to get my things from storage and 7pm the night before i go to get my things Bryce calls saying they dnt have a truck for me. I had to go to another location to get my truck. Instead of doing what the website says "reservation guaranteed. If not $50 off" he gives me $19 off for their screw up. Smh. Ive had nothing but problems with this location and broken promises. Definitely would not recommend them at all!!

Main entry signage advertised first month storage rent free with U-Haul truck rental // I had U-Haul truck one-way from Ft. Collins, CO to Phx, AZ // a storage unit for that promo advertisement was not available for me // but, I did rent and paid for a storage unit that morning ( 11 am ) at the U-Haul warehouse at 4240 W. Camelback Rd, Phx, AZ, unloaded truck, refueled truck, and returned it that same day ( Feb 14 ) afternoon ( 2 pm ) , clean & refueled //

Just moved into Uhaul from another storage. This is sooo much cleaner. The air cool will make a Hugh difference in the summer. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Besides, they have rental trucks and trailers if needed.

Unit 210 door is off of adjustment hanging down to the right on the locking side and door hinge on bottom left is moved out about half inch needs to be adjusted. This caused me to snap my key in the lock and having to spend additional 50 bucks for a locksmith on something that was on uhaul part. Let it be known lock is was from uhu

I had some items missing but I think I know who took said items. And I would like the footage of the items leaving my locker but I'm not sure how to go about getting it. I can say enough about how wonderful the staff was. Due to the Covid I got behind and they were so understanding.! They did everything possible so I didn't lose my Things. They gave me half off what I owed. Thank you again so kind. I hate were hate the storage unit I'm at now. Uhaul for sure is the number # 1 crazy motor to rent a storage unit and where else.

The young lady that took care of us at the counter was magnificent! She was fast and friendly. She made sure we locked in a storage space so we wouldn't end up empty handed on Saturday when we planned to move in. She even went to out the lock on and returned the keys to us. I believe she has what it takes to move up in this company! I am so sorry but I cannot remember her name right at this moment, that's my senior moment of the day!

I had a reservation and they gave my unit to someone without a reservation. Then broken two units up to make up for it but then went to look at the units and one had a lock on it. They have no idea what they are doing and I was having a hard time due to my situation and I over heard the manager tell another employee idc I’m too busy because I was canceling. I will never use uhaul for storage ever again!

Was never informed of the facility's broken pipe, resulting in some water damage in the stored belongings. Also feels very unsafe inside and around the facility. Nothing done about homeless individuals camping/ parked in front of the entrances. The amount of trash and drug paraphernalia around the building and outside my unit's door was unsettling.
