We live in a society where excellent customer service is nonexistent. The manager's name is Jason and the staff at this location go above and beyond to assist the customer while making sure the customer is satisfied. From my experience, ALL of the employees there are extremely professional and they listen to the customer. I've had two encounters with Aiden that made me think, "Is Aiden real???" :) Encounter 1: May 2021. Before leaving the store, I received a receipt. I noticed there was an overcharge. As I was attempting to explain why the bill was incorrect, AIDEN WALKS IN. He sensed there was a problem and walked over to help. Aiden looked at the bill and performed calculations. I was charged for mileage when I should not have been. (The bill was generated by the computer system.) Aiden apologized for the error. It was a computer glitch. Aiden issued a refund. Encounter 2: Yesterday 6/16/2021. I rented a cargo van for the day. This time a UHAUL E-alert popped up. I was given a number to call. I sat down and dialed the number. It was the wrong number and as usual, there were customers. AIDEN APPEARS OUT OF NO WHERE and sits right in front of me. I explained the situation. AIDEN dials the correct number to UHAUL and says, "This is AIDEN. I have an E-alert. Both myself and the customer want to know what this is about." (Aiden took my drivers license and listened patiently to UHAUL on the other end and began asking me questions.) He was patient, professional and truly wanted to get to the bottom of it. I was overcharged on a bill in 2016. The traffic manager issued a certificate but forgot to remove the E-alert. Aiden said, "They can take of it in a few minutes." They did. Aiden could have said, "2016? I can't help you with that!!!" He didn't. For over a month, I've been telling everyone about my experience with the staff and Aiden. Aiden upholds the policies and doesn't hesitate to take the customer with him as he explains what is going on. In a perfect world, I would like to see this UHAUL location advance and continue to grow. As for Aiden, I wish him the best in all of his endeavors (personal, academic and career). I've noticed Aiden run outside to check on a truck. When he steps back into the store, he can sense when there's a problem. He is efficient and effective in his managerial skills and that, is rare!! There was very little initial help, here is the key, the truck is there. Didn't direct me to the truck i was to get when there were two available, find the number on truck to match the key without telling me where to find the number on the truck. The only issue I didn’t like was that I couldn’t call and talk to someone local. When I called a local number, it directed me to the call center and I was on hold for a long time. Better customer service and communication. I went inside to ask about other options and then left only to have to come back in to get the key. It would have been nice if the employees would have recommended I stay inside for the phone check in knowing I'd have to come right back in for the key. I also did not receive the utility dolly I paid for even though it said it would be with The uhaul and no Employees checked or asked when I went to get the key to let them know if the dolly was there or not.LOUISA E.

The lock on the truck did not work. Was fine because it could still sit in the hole to hold the door latch down, but the lock itself would not close and key would not go in. We didn't figure this out until we started loading the truck.Emma J.

I suggest to have employees engaged with the customer. Having discussions about getting tattoos and where each got them and from which state was above distracting. Seemed more important than taking care for f the customer who came in to rent a truck for the day. Nobody went over vehicle for damages let alone having the truck ready for pick up. I did all pre truck rental so I could just come in. I had to pull the truck out and get the blankets with dolly loaded. Very disappointed in this experience. The return was perfect, pulled up and was greeted by an employee and shuttled me on my way.Darrin W.

I always pick this location because I like the manager and the staff is always friendly. However this time, no one wore a mask even though there is a mask mandate where we live, also common courtesy in a pandemic would be good in a professional setting. Also, when I went to return my equipment, you are supposed to wIt in your rental and the employees come help you. I waited for ten minutes before I got upset and just went inside. Again no mask and no apology. Also the employee who initiated my rental kept asking the other employees for help and said â€œI'm bad with computersâ€Chelsea C.

Only providing good ratings as I don’t want to impact anyone’s performance rating. The U-Haul truck wasn’t available, yet many were sitting in the same spot before I left and returned. The unit wasn’t cleaned out, needed to swipe and clean out before putting my product into the storage unit. No one in the location was wearing a mask, yet the city still hasn’t adjusted the mask mandate. How does a customer feel when we don’t know the status of everyone working at the location? No one offered an apology for the unit not being available and seemed to blame me for the issue of having two rental units reserved.Gilbert P. | First Impressions
The truck reserved wasn't available. Had to use a cargo van, guess the reservation (2) was made for yesterday at the wrong pickup time. I was told sorry we have only this free right now. No apologies were made and the price guarantee didn't even kick in. Only giving high scores because I know that bonus affect the local business reps and store manager. the only issue i had was the brakes, pushing down softly and the my fbrake pedal pushed in more , the engine surged and kept moving with foot on pedal. . happened twice, in lincoln and at nebr. city at storage unit. i did tell the person when i dropped off the truck.robert M.

The employee tried to manually enter my card information, compromising my card security, I asked him to try and run it through the POS card reader but he tried again to get my card numbers, I let him know that made me uncomfortable and I would rather use my chip for my cards security, although he did do as I asked, this behavior was concerning as there was no issue with the card reader.REBECCA S.
