My pick up time was 9:30 am I waited in line from 9:10-9:40 am. Only 1 rep helping people at the counter. Took another 20 minutes to leave because of a slow computer. I was told that I still only had until 1:30 to return the equipment or be charged $50 for being late. I had to rush what I was doing to avoid being charged. I was credited $5 for the auto transport being short a strap, I had to use my own strap to keep the car down. I think I will just use penske next time.

The pick up and drop off was great. The issue was I was charged for a extra day. I called the location and they told me I needed to talk to customer service so they transferred me to customer service where they called the location back and talked to the asst manager and he said there was a mistake a d would refund the extra day. I am not sure why I needed to make a 40 minute phone call for a simple mistake that should have been taken care of at the location.
Long wait time
I never have a bad experience here but I did last week. I walked in and waited in line to turn in the truck I rented. When I was finally helped I turned in the keys and asked if someone would check the truck. The guy that helped me said they did not do that. I assumed it was due to covid so I said ok and asked for the receipt. He said it will be emailed once he checked the truck out. Turns out he did not check in my truck and I got charged a $20 after hour fee. I called and they are working with upper management to get my $20 back. Either way, I paid $140 for a 1 way trip where I am even questioning the miles they claim I used. The $19.99 in town moving is just a bait and hook. I was not even told it only works if you return it to the same location. With as tight as money is right now, the procedure should have been transparent so the customer can make a decision that fits their needs and budget.
Perfect moving day ...truck was ready,extra equipment needed was all there,ready when scheduled,employees very nice and helpful... Everything went well
I was given keys to a truck which was not mine and I was not shown which truck to take. The truck them wouldn't start after loading and it took roadsidec6 hours to fix the problem.
The inside of the cab smelled like an ashtray, and the back smelled like gasoline was poured on the floor.
The big problem I had was I needed a DOCK HIGH 26 foot truck. I asked 3 times if it was DOCK HIGH. I WAS Told yes. When I picked up the truck it was really LOW! I called to complain and she said well not everyone knows what “dock high†means! We argued on the phone. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I told her she shouldn't be renting trucks if she doesn't know what dock high means.
The kid that helped me get the truck was excellent! He was fast and so courteous! definitely has a lot of potential!!
The supervisor that works the weekend shift really helpful and knowledgeable.
Make sure the moving pads are not half pieces or quarter size pieces

1. Charged for two days when brought in at 630pm on day one. Corrected by Mgmt 2. Charged for gas ... Mgmt would not correct. Truck returned on 1/4 tank and they say less than quarter tank - billed my credit card over objection. for $43 more dollars. Outrageous will not use your service again... will not recommend. Rip off
UHAUL IS TH E WORST EVER! FOR MANY YEARS I HAVAE BEEN TO UHAUL THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THE WORST IN ALTAMONTE I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR DAYS AND HAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR HOURS AND NO RESULT, UHAUL VEHICLE BROKE DOWN DUE TO MAINTENANCE TO THERE ERRORS AND WE HAD TO WAIT for 6 HIURS BEFORE ANYONE SHOWED UP TO HELP! I WOULD NEVE RECOMMEND UHAUL MUCH LESS PUT MY TRUST WITH THIS COMPANY. WORST COMPANY EVER!
The truck was difficult to drive radio kept playing when I shut engine off. Not great service on returning.

Easy return process. Returned after hours, so did not come into contact with any representatives during pick up or drop off- both seemed to go smoothly overall.
did everything mobile but when I got to the store I still had to check in and the computer was apparently slow or not working correctly so it took about 20-30 minutes to pick up the truck. I did mobile checkout when I returned the truck and that worked great.
the U-haul place is great no improvements needed
Tire pressure was low upon pickup requiring additional time to be used in the midst of my rental time.

Explain how to start the truck better
When I arrived they did not have the van I reserved. One of workers tried to say that I did not reserve a van, I reserved a pick up truck until I showed the lady that was helping me my reservation. In the end, they gave the van to someone who walked in (without a reservation) and I ended up paying more in millage with the pickup truck they gave me. While in the office there was issues with multiple people reservations. I will never go to this location again even if it is the closest place to me.
Please have the staff back the moving trucks in so customers don't have to back up to exit the parking area.
The truck was clean, however the check engine light was on. I brought it to a gentleman's attention that works there and he just tightened the gas cap and said ‘it'll be fine'. It ran very rough and loud. Literally, the whole truck shook from 0-40.

Want me the customer to take my car off the trailer, then take the trailer off the truck. Or they would charge me to do so. This is Not A Good Idea, I could have been injured or my car damaged.

Uhaul locations are becoming more and more difficult to navigate. Long lines and uncomfortable environment. Glad the self drop off exists, but sour of the Uhaul experience.
COVID19 safe and clean. The staff was helpful and efficient. They have good teamwork because one of the staff looked new and the other one made a great effort to come and make sure it was correct.

Great customer service and location the truck was ok but the passenger side mirror wasn't adjust made it kinda hard to back up and merge it overall ok

I Paid $95.00 for a Very Poor Moving Experience, with a Bad, and Unsafe Truck(Poor Breakes) That Never Should have left the yard! The Transmission is going, and drove too far in first gear. The Truck would shake and shudder, if you drove above 30 mph. And the Dome light has a Short, and we had to Load in the Dark, the last part of our Move. Absolutely the Worst Truck, I've Ever Rented! I feel I should be Refunded part of what I Paid... because I received Far Less, then I Should've! The man who checked me Out, Acknowledgedto Me, the Breakes were Bad! To me, this is Negligence, that put my Life at Risk, and I will speak to my Attorney!
I had no issues renting the truck, however the return and final charges have been a mess. I returned the truck 2 hours before it was due back with more gas than it had when it was given to me, I went into the store and handed the keys to Trevonne Scott, he stated they would complete the check in and send the final receipt to my email. I then checked my bank account and had an additional fuel charge for over $41.00. I called the store immediately, spoke to Trevonne Scott, he acknowledged that the extra fuel charge was an error and issued me a refund of $40.25. He advised I would be receiving the refund in 3 or 4 days. Today, I checked my account and instead of a refund I now have 2 charges, 1 for $64.03 and another for $105.00. I called customer service spoke to Tiffany and she stated that $64.03 was the initial hold and the $105.00 was billed before I was issued the refund and that all the transaction's should adjust in 3 or 4 business days. I understand the timing, my issue is I am on a fixed income and now I have had 3 transactions hit my account from U-haul which caused me to be overdrawn..now I have to deal with overdraft fees. I hope the transactions are corrected soon!! All this mess could have been avoided if the fuel information would have been reviewed correctly.

Had a horrible experience trying to use the mobile pick up option. Spent 30 minutes in parking lot trying to get it to work and chatting with a customer service rep who was very unhelpful, all he could say was the we had to "verify" and that we couldn't use our own phone numbers, we needed a neighbor's phone number. If we needed this information, why was it not listed when we made the reservation online? Ended up having to go inside and wait another 30 minutes in line until a person could help us. Please fix your mobile check in, it is horrible.

Worst move of my life! Box did not arrive as scheduled. Delivered to a location different than noted on agreement. No one could find it for 2 days. Then not delivered for 2 more days. ZERO stars!
