I am a 71 yr old. I rented a furniture dolly. I had to roll it out of the building and load it into the truck , also a rented. That was bad customer service and inconsiderate. I purchased a truck, unknowingly with a severed fuel line. As I filled the truck with gas, fuel spilled out all over my shoes completely damaging them. I had to go to a different location to pick up the vehicle (16 miles further each way). The truck had less than 1/4 tank of fuel. I reserved a 26' truck two weeks in advance and was called the day before and told only a 20' truck was available and I had to pick up in a different city. My recommendations are for your trucks. I think they should have blue tooth and cruise control. Both those would have been extremely helpful for myself since I was traveling alone. I paid a lot for my rental and I didn't get any discounts or anything. Plus I got the roadside assistance and protection plan. Ps. I called roadside because a light came on about the tires. And it was a half hour wait just to talk to someone. Unreal!!! But my point is as much as I paid I'd think you could do a few upgrades to make the travel a little easier since you charge so much.alice H.

Occasionally the normal place I get my uhaul for the quarterly trip was out of trucks. I have never had a bad experience at any of the other locations until this time. I initially was help by someone who seemed to be new and was having trouble navigating the system. He got kicked off by the ass and I considered walking out and just using the online app. The only thing stopping me was thinking of the mess I might create. Access hours were limited and inconvenient to anyone who has to travel to the facility or someone that works normal business hours. Staff at times would rush you out of the facility as closing time was approaching. Understandable, yet there is a sign on the entrance stating how the facility would remain open late upon request. I just wanted to communicate how condescending, rude, and unprofessional Alyssa Johnson (CSR) was. As soon as my husband stood in front of the desk to ask about a quote she gave him an attitude and started rolling her eyes at him. She had the audacity to say to him, "If you're not the one with a driver's license I need you to move away so I can talk to the person who does." She looked at my driver's license and said that the address was not local so she immediately refused to help us. I told her it was impossible because on 9/2021 I made a rental with the same license in the same exact location. I went ahead and showed her the contract from 9/2021 that had the same driver's license and local address and she kept saying NO, that it was impossible. On 9/2021 I made the rental with my car registration as proof of address. However, she kept saying she wouldn't do it, just talked over us and had a look in her face of anger and disdain. Orion stepped in and said we could do it with a piece of mail that has our address. If it was not for Orion taking care of us then Alyssa would have kept mistreating us. He was kind enough to explain to us the changes in policy in a manner that was not belittling and made us feel comfortable. In addition, he gave our daughter a Uhaul coin bank and put a smile on her little face. The following day Joshua was also extremely kind and helpful. I appreciate Orion and Joshua for representing the company in a professional way since I am a consumer seeking services. Here I mention 3 individuals with different approaches to customer service. Alyssa acted like she hated her job, like her shift was about to be over but mentally she was already gone because she did not want to help. It's a shame to have someone like that as the first face you see when you walk into the facility. Her whole demeanor and approach is unfriendly and hostile. I think she could greatly benefit from training or customer service refresher.JENNY H.

Without a doubt, the Bear Valley location is BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Hands down!! Orion is exemplary, he always takes time to check my tires, and show me what to do along my route to stay safe. Olivia as the manager runs a fantastic crew. "Big Truck" Tony had gone home before my arrival and I missed his helpfulness and great sense of humor! Even the substitute manager was great this final visit for me. The workers were very friendly and tried to work with me. There was no note online saying that they don’t have the 24hr access yet due to construction. Since I was driving from fort Irwin the guy let me pass the time for about 10 minutes more. A major problem I did have was that I had reserved my unit a month in advance, I get there and they had gave my unit to someone else. They had no more for the size I wanted. So forcibly I had to up size. So now I have to pay the difference every time cause of mistake you guys made. Wasn’t even offered a discount. I had to take it cause I had to store my item I had taken that day. Was also offered a free lock, they ran out of locks. Luckily they let me borrow one until I go back. We reserved a unit online and when we got there the manager said she didn’t have it and she wouldn’t price match the one we had reserved because we had to get a more expensive unit. Under construction and so access to the unit is weird. And the hours are weird. My last storage unit we had a code and could access our unit at any time.
