There are two u-haul businesses only about a mile or two from each other on the same street. I accidently booked a the smaller of the two on line. The young lady at the counter was very helpful in switching my reservation from one to the more convenient of the two for me I was concerned about being billed twice for the same rental and she took care of it very professionally. Thank you!

I feel the van rental price of $19.99 is mis advertising It does not say plus mileage Also it did not give me the option to op out of the insurance, I have car insurance and only drove the van 8 miles When I rented in Palm Desert in Dec they removed the insurance when I checked out the truck

There is no professional courtesy. We left with the rental and drove to our location and the back of the vehicle was locked. We had to drive all the way back to their location. I was not sufficiently credited for the mileage for their mistake. Please use another location!

My only issue was we arrived for the first move-in after 7pm when the office closed, but move-in is available until 10pm. I didn't understand where to go to get into the building because the link to find the location was broken, tapping on it did not redirect me to anything. Fortunately, an employee was leaving at about 730ish, saw me struggling, and came up to help me understand where to go and what to do, so it was all good (thumbs up). Thank you again!!! Oh, and I was in a standard 15' U-Haul truck and we pulled into the right side drive in bay, (awesome by the way, hugely helpful), and if I'd kept going forward I'd have taken off one of your sprinklers. I moved to the left bay where there isn't a sprinkler, and made it in ok. So heads up, there isn't enough clearance in the drive in bays for some U-Haul truck models. But we are super duper happy with the facility, the security is great we feel our junk is safe there, and the staff has been 100%. Thank you for the free disk lock, and for having carts available for use.

This is the third time I get quoted a price and end up paying quite a bit more than quoted even though I always overestimate the miles when getting a quote. Your company lies to the customer to get their business. I have spent thousands with U-Haul. So now I put a trailer hitch on my own vehicle. You guys can kick rocks

When I can't get access to my storage. This becomes a huge burden and issue. I paid people to move things inside my storage, and don't know why I unable to get access. My account is not pass due, nor is it time to pay for the next month payment. My access code nor will my card work and no help in site since it's a Sunday and office is now closed.

This was one of the WORST UHAUL companies I've ever had to come in contact with. I moved in a few years ago and received tribute service from day one. They CONSTANTLY send emails at early hours in the morning (like 1am) if you are late behind on your bill, like not even during business hours do they address things. If you can avoid coming here please do, don't ever waste your time or money engaging in this particular facility. The service was moderately terrible because there was usually no one around for customer service. Other people had all sorts of disgusting things in their storage unit like I'm pretty sure people were living in there possibly had food too and they have a bug problem in there. They need much better upkeep, staff and maintenance for how much they are installer overpriced. And the STORE MANAGER needs to stop coming into to help customers REEKING of cigarettes and beer. Clean under your nails, look like you've at least showered that day, clean breath and professional demeanor. Be Professional!!! Show up to help your customers!!!! Do. Your. Job!!!! The staff is very incompetent and obviously not trained on their job, it shows with the level of dissatisfaction that is constantly echoed throughout ALL their customers. At least pretend to care about your job!

I was being polite and explaining my situation and she got rude and hung up on me. Not professional at all!!! Someone who recently rented the U-Haul was smoking in the truck. It was gross, the truck was fine but the cab just reeked like cigarettes.

The staff had no idea what to do or about their services. I had to wait while they learned about the extra $20 I paid for the load fee. They had no idea how to unload the vehicle off the auto transport and had to make several calls to the boss for instructions. It look way longer than needed and they had to hold up the front of my car while I backed it out because they could not figure another way without my fender being ruined. Please train staff properly. This was very disappointing.

U-Haul is genius for utilizing the Kmart facility. Being able to access the garage and having climate control was helpful. Push carts were available to take my belongings from the garage to the storage. All of the staff were helpful. I won't use any other storage here forward

I’m going issue lately at this location, consistently no trolley cards very inconvenient for customers, long-term customers of more than four years, such as me when moving in or out items Other customers are using the trolley carts, keeping them in their storage unit, not returning them or taking them on the trucks not returning them for days Over the past two months there is only two trolleys in the building at any given time The ones that are available are misused it should be one per guest per use yet I find one person has four of them at one time and it causes issues where we are not able to use them Big issue they’re not being returned to the proper return site. They are not being returned after use. They are being kept in units overnight. a crackdown needs to occur on these trolley carts. They need to be put back after each use and before each renter leaves the facility. no one is enforcing the return policy. No one is enforcing the one per customer per use policy and no one is even checking to see if they’re on property or being returned properly. Found out today and was able to use a trolley had to carry several extremely large oversized, heavy totes While other guests had multiple trolleys and were using them, I was left with nothing big inconvenience Fed up with not being able to properly move things out of unit without the assistance of the trolley carts Can you do better to make sure that the units of storage unit or peoples truck rental? I have seen people taking them with them off not sure if this is allowed I wouldn’t even consider asking they should be remaining on site they should not be allowed to be be taken offsite Please do better finding or charging fees for those who are not returning them or hoarding them in their storage locker Thank you sincerely Valued long-term customer

I had to call twice to verify that my unit was cancelled and the next day I still got charged. I had to call three separate times. The man I spoke with on the first day said he was going to verify I had moved out and never did. It wasn't until the third call that a lady actually checked and issued my refund.

The only thing I am going to complain about is the price. Nobody WANTS to put their stuff in storage, we do it because we have no other choice, & the people that make the prices take advantage of that. I was paying $270 +tax and late fees, bringing my total to over $300 a month. This last month they took their money leaving my bank account -$214. I got my stuff out so I don't have to worry about losing my stuff in a storage unit again. I appreciate being able to use it, but I hate doing it. Please think about lowering prices so that maybe less people lose their belongings.

I wish I could say that all was well but only one situation had me a little bit uneasy. The attendant that was servicing me she seemed to have had a little bit of an attitude with me when I was searching for my son's phone number to be another option for them to call please seem to have took attitude with a bad look on her face about me not knowing the numbers right off when I told her I had to go and ask my son that was outside but then when I saw he was inside and I turned to come back I got her having her hand rested to her head elbow on the counter like she was super bored with me. That one little incident made me wish I had the attendant that was next to her because he serviced his customers really well and with the smile. I tried to do my very best to give her the answers that she wanted she should have had more patience with me.

No directional signage, nobody told me how to check in, nobody told me I needed to check in, nobody told me how how roll up doors work, nobody told me how to get the interior door to open (because it's jacked and doesn't open consistently), nobody told me the roll up door is broken after a certain hour so I couldn't unload nearly as much as I wanted to last night and nobody on the phone could help me. Contact already made. I may have to wait until I'm on al long drive to hear back.

Most of the problems I experienced were of my own creation. Orion is a wonderful and caring person. He took interest in my situation and found a way for the company to support me in my panicked state. Even when my storage was going to lien sale because I was unable to pay it, they still worked out a deal with me so I could retrieve my most valuable and precious items. Customer service like no other. 🙂

I had called for two days in a row trying to get arrangements made for my storage to get a key card since the internet was down when I got the storage and was told I needed to go to the app went to the app it wouldn't allow me to make the changes so I called the corporate called the corporate they transferred me five different times had to call back several times was on the phone for hours and never got the issues resolved there was one problem after another since I picked up my truck and problems continued with storage this has been a very upsetting experience for me

Trash overflowing in the bathrooms, walls look very butchered and gutted from being an old K-Mart, and upon asking to close out my account the guy said "you aren't getting what you paid refunded back" in a very rude tone. I didn't even ask about getting the money back, it was just the fact that he blurted it out seemed pretty unprofessional.

In July 2021 my home had water damage so, I had to move my furnishings to storage, I was so Very Pleased, with the Facility, Ms. Olivia and her Staff, they were very accommodating, and kind. On September 9 September 10 and September 11 during the summertime rain storms U-Haul‘s building roof leaked former Kmart facilities roof is not in good condition water damage occurred in our area of our units I have substantial damage to our couch my TV some bedding and a mattress not very happy expected the roof to be sound climate control is useless if it’s not weather or water controlled moisture controlled or in this case the roof leaks on the old building that they took over a.k.a. former Kmart please invest in a roof before you invest in a structure I am out a lot of money and now I have no furniture

As a working adult, it was inconvenient that the facility closed at 7 PM. I moved to another storage unit that I have access from 7 AM till 9 PM. Since your building is secure and requires card access I’m not sure why it has to close when the office closes.

Access hours were limited and inconvenient to anyone who has to travel to the facility or someone that works normal business hours. Staff at times would rush you out of the facility as closing time was approaching. Understandable, yet there is a sign on the entrance stating how the facility would remain open late upon request. Yet everything it was requested, I was denied.

I am not one of those people that think in this manner money is a basic conservative manner that a storage facility of such Notoriety if I owned it Offc Hrs should Open at 0700/30hrs and Close at 1800/1900hrs due too, Availability of storage and mostly due to more productive Ness regarding storage and or the rental of trucks yes there are after hours and before hours pick up and drop offs and so forth but it Hass to do with relating to the human bean from person to person interaction we are not robots we are not the idiot electronics that we have produced we are much more delicate much more superior and need the interaction. Whether you believe it or not those are the facts which means truth.

Casi lo rente con pocas cosas porque ya no me dejaron entrar asta que sacara las cosas . Y porque no tenia mi casa todadvia tenia que pagar otra vez y casi basio .

Love Uhaul as a storage facility aswell as Truck rentals!!

I have needed to store my belongings at a a few storage units in 8 states; and have had to rent Uhaul trucks too many times to count in my lifetime. Without a doubt, the Bear Valley location is BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Hands down!! Orion is exemplary, he always takes time to check my tires, and show me what to do along my route to stay safe. Olivia as the manager runs a fantastic crew. "Big Truck" Tony had gone home before my arrival and I missed his helpfulness and great sense of humor! Even the substitute manager was great this final visit for me. I truly hope that these hard working, outstanding employees receive some sort of raise or recognition for being phenomenally above and beyond other Uhaul locations NATIONWIDE!! I thank them from the bottom of my heart for being so amazing!

Not enough employees to attend to the customers. I had to purchase three storage units because of misinformation by the employees who didn’t seem to know what they were doing. One employee who waited on me had bloodshot red eyes and reeked of alcohol!

Hours are terrible for anyone who works… not the usual u-haul hours. Entry and check in process changed often. General manager was always rude and condescending. Messy and disorganized facility. Not worth the exuberant price at all. Do not recommend, not at all up to an standards or expectations.

Upon moving our stuff out of storage we noticed that several of our wood furniture pieces were damaged by what seems to be damp conditions while in your storage facility. It appears that your facility is not climate controlled. I am not happy that some of my furniture was ruined.

The hours were regular business hours plus weekends: 9am-5pm. As I understand it, since it's a new facility, the hours will be extended once new construction is completed. That said, the facility and the employees are top notch. I always got great service and was always greeted with enthusiasm, even on the hottest of days. Hurry and give your employees the a/c they deserve :) And laser tag after hours would be pretty rad.

Excellent based on the staff, very helpful, above and beyond! Facility closing at 5PM was very, very difficult with a long distance move, and traffic. This required renting u haul trucks more times than would have been necessary if we could unload later in the day.
