Was given a $13.50 fuel credit if I returned van with a 1/4 tank of gas. Guess what I did? Left it at exactly a 1/4 tank. Received my final receipt only to find that my gas credit was removed. This is petty as f@_&. What a shame you are. Not to mention I had to rent a 15 ft. Truck when my reservation was for a 10 ft. Truck. I was told they couldn't get the 10 ft. Vans moved due to the snow. What a bunch of B's that was. When I arrived in my sporty sedan, I had no problem with the snow in the lot. Just looking at the 10 ft. Trucks in the parking lot.....it almost seems like a scam. The whole reason I was given the gas "voucher" was because I had to pay the extra $10 for the bigger truck. Only to have U-Haul stick it to me. Good job guys, I know who not to use for any services you offer. Have a great day and good luck with business when you prey on people like you did to me.

When I picked up the equipment the person who helped me out was fantastic. Was precise, explained everything to me, hooked up my trailer, checked all of the lights, and told me to have a great day.
When I returned the equipment it was terrible. I waited for 5 minutes and nobody came out. I went inside and there were 4 people behind the desk and not doing anything. Finally a younger woman asked how can help her and I told her I was returning the trailer. She said, "just leave the keys in the vehicle and you are all good." I couldn't believe how untrained she was not knowing the difference between a truck and a trailer. FINALLY a older woman I believe the manager said that she would help me. When I was following her a couple of younger gentlemen followed us out. They took the trailer off and said have a good rest of the day. It looked like one was training the other person. I would recommend this site to others...........IF, the person who I got the trailer from was there all of the time. He was fantastic. As for the others. I would highly recommend more training.

Service was good. I drove the trailer to the Bloomington UHaul self storage to load up. After loading I did a light check and found that the right side running lights were all out. Fortunately on that Sunday that site had someone who was able to repair it. I can't say for certain that the lights were out when I left Apple Valley - we did do a light check and I suppose that it is possible that the connection failed on the short trip to Bloomington, but that seems unlikely.

The truck was very dirty and the beginning mileage was 40 miles off. No one looked at this truck and unfortunately I did not know I was supposed to fill a text survey before leaving. Would be something to highlight. Terrible. Shane on U-Haul. Even the people who checked me back in said it was dirty and smelled. I got my move done but was overbooked and basically told I was screwed because U-Haul would not do anything.

The 10' rental was clean, but the initial truck we were to pick up could not start. I understand it was cold, but even the second truck we were given was barely able to start. The online check-in process ended up being useless because I had to go into the store and get this fixed anyway. The employees were very nice and helpful though, but it's just frustrating how long it took to get a truck that worked and stayed working without needing a jump.

Mark at the Apple Valley location was phenomenal. There was some confusion about us getting a POD delivered there to put items into a storage unit. The PODS delivery truck was already there and Mark was able to scramble and make it work for us. He truly went above and beyond, helping us out. I cannot thank him enough. I rented a U-Haul big truck that matched the size of the storage u it ,one way rental , and was told I would get a FREE month of storage but when I went to claim my free month they told me that it needs to be “forward credit” and they can’t give me a “back credit”. The shift manager was excellent. We had a full truck load to store our home belongings. At first we had an inside room that said street level. When we realized it was not steer level he changed us to outside. He went above and beyond to help us. Wonderful service. I would highly recommend his customer care.

Your rates continue to increase, I moved out of my unit early and the rent was NOT prorated back to me. My payment was due in the 2nd of the month and when I went online to pay it on the 2nd you always showed me as past due?? Why are there no partial month refunds. The storage unit was very well maintained and secure. However, the rental cost was ridiculous. It went up over !00% during the course of my rental. Some of the staff need to work on their social skills. Very rude and unprofessional. I gave the staff my extra key to my lock for safe keeping should I lose my primary key. When i checked out, they had no record of their having the key and could not find it.

The place was always well-lit, clean, smelled nice, and the staff is AMAZING! SO nice, helpful, and welcoming! This experience FAR exceeded my expectations for a storage facility and full experience.
I actually upgraded (did not leave Uhaul) to a larger 2nd storage unit!

U Haul continues to out do their generosity every time I need them. Apple Valley MN has installed a hitch, wired lights for a trailer and now I’m renting space. The entire building is squeaky clean, the floors look like they are freshly swept and mopped. I have needed Uhaul for many services and I am so grateful for such a generous company I can rely on. We NEED more companies like Uhaul. But what is a company without its crew? Thank you so much to Apple Valley people for your kindness and attention.

I was quoted online a different price for storage and when I went to sign for it the price went up. The very rude male that waited on me said that there was nothing he could do for me. Then when I went to check out of storage and paid the upcharge rent for 3 days, they said they could do nothing for me again. Every time I went to storage the employees were all out smoking. Not helpful.

Very deceiving signage. We moved from a 10x10 to a 5x10 thinking the price was 89.95. Every sign in the store says 89.95 we sign the contract and found that we are being charged 119.95 it was quite upsetting to say the least. This was deception at its best. Half the size should have been half the price!

All but one of the staff were wearing their face masks under their noses. A face mask is virtually ineffective unless worn properly. Failure to wear the face masks properly is a sign of disrespect to the customers. It's also a violation of the law.

the first guy who offered to find a unit for me walked with me the two or so blocks to a unit that he and i could not find. This was disappointing service. When I cam back with things to store, another man said I would not want the unit that the ftist guy was trying to provide for me, since it was up some stairs or such. . The second guy selected a unit that was close to the entrance, and though it cost more, it was far more valuable.

I ended up losing my stuff at this place and I tried calling and talking to the manager and was never given a chance to get my stuff back. The staff were not professional at all and the manager.
