This is the first time I have gotten a truck with so many issues. The floor was dirty, the back was up when I got the truck. I could not get to the back of the truck because it was up against the wall. I drove home thinking the back was down and I was stopped by a cop who told me it was up. When I looked all the blankets were gone. The seats were dirty and the truck ran really loud. I hope my next experience is better.

My only issue is the gas. I received the truck with 3/4 of a tank of fuel. I returned it with 3/4 and they still charged me extra $7.00 and some change. I even took a photo of the gas hand when I dropped the vehicle off. I only use uhaul for my moving and trailer rental needs and this extra charge is so unfair. I spent over 400 bucks and then to try and nickle and dime me is not rate. Hopefully I will recieve a telephone call to correct this issue. Thanks 708.606.7788 Z. Beck

In June I was over charged $41 for mileage I didn't use. This time I was charged $4.25 for gas even though I brought the vehicle back with the same amount of fuel. I will use U-Haul in the future but not this location.

Attendant did not hook up trailer correctly. Chains were wrapped around ball and hitch was not properly seated/tightened until I mentioned it to him.

This location went above and beyond the call of duty to help me jump start my car when my battery died from having it in neutral in order to make the trip up from Cincinnati..which was the fault of the U-hual at Jen's!

When I dropped the vehicle back off to the counter the cashier was very rude! She took the key and said you can go with out even giving me a receipt. I asked her if she needed the mileage she said I’ll go see myself! Today when I looked at my receipt on my email she had added insurance in which I had declined it earlier!!!!

What is the point of having the app or online registration if you still have to wait in line to pick up your truck! Have more staff available on a Saturday when you know it is going to be busy and your computer system is running slow.

Prior to my arrival no one never got in contact with me to make me aware that my reservation that I booked was delayed by 1 1/2 hrs poor costumer service at best.

I would suggest you all make it visible to let customers know that you have to take pictures of the mileages/gas and the inside of the rental before getting out of the car. It was a total inconvenience when trying to check in the car and not knowing this information up front. Other than that the car was very clean and great on gas.

I reserved a truck for a 6pm pickup at the Broadview, IL location. When I arrived at the Broadview, IL location I was informed my pick up location had been change to Bellwood, IL. I did not receive any notifications that my pick up location had changed. I arrived at the Bellwood, IL location at 6:15pm and no one was on staff and the doors were locked although the location close time was 7pm. Myself and several other customers called the emergency customer # posted on the door. I was finally able to reach someone who informed me they were a manger of another location and they would reach out to a Bellwood, IL manager. After waiting an hour a store associate arrived to the Bellwood location to assist.

The reservation process to pick up key after hours does not work for the 2nd year in a row I was late to the cook out. This will not happen next year! I have a Android phone S10.

I came a couple of years ago to the Bellwood U-haul and liked very much the service and experience. So instead of going nearby where i live, I went back to the Bellwood Rental. They helped fill out my form and a young clerk knew the directions and mileage where I was going; Wow! I did not know about the U-haul online return check-out-process. What a marvelous idea that covers checks & balance and accountability on both sides! Anyway, I'm glad I returned back to the Bellwood U-Haul Rental!

The entire service was unacceptable. My original reservation was changed to a smaller truck without my knowledge and led me to do MULTIPLE trip which INCREASED the cost of a SMALL truck.

With a reservation made on-line, I was received my truck and drove away within 10 minutes of arriving. (Note: I arrived right as the store opened at 7am) UHaul provided me with a new, clean and well equipped Silverado pick-up truck. I returned the truck the same day by just handing over the keys. My final invoice arrived two days later just as expected, no surprises. IT WAS A PAINLESS EXPERIENCE, THANK YOU.
