The trailer needed to have several joints welded up on it. The trailer was missing a rear anchor point. Overall, the trailer towed well and did the job.

KENNETH BThough multiple employees were around, no one would assist me in returning my vehicle. I asked two different employees and was told to wait by my truck. I waited about 15 minutes outside in 97° heat. When finally someone came over she yelled at me to move my rental truck. I told her I could not move the truck since I had other trucks in front and behind. All she did was yell again to move my truck to the side and then she went inside. A man came by, moved the truck in front of me to where the woman told me to move my truck to. The man then told me to leave my key in the door. No receipt has been sent to me and it has been over 24 hours since the return. My pervious experience at this location was good but terrible service this time.
BERNADETTE VThe UBox driver in Tucson could have placed them in a direction that made it easier to load. The associates at the local UHaul were friendly and helpful. The delivery driver in Colorado was AWESOME! Super friendly and accommodating. Made unloading very easy.
Carmen MI moved from Benson Az, to Northfield Ma. Rented 4 U-Hall boxes, and they all made it safely. Packed them like they told me to, and nothing was broken in those 2700 miles. I highly recommend them for any move. Two things could be improved. One is a couple of more tie off places. 2 on each wall is not enough. The other is the paper that was laid down on the floor. Not a good idea. Had to step over a container on the floor, when my foot landed on the other side the paper tore. I was left doing the splits over the container. Not good for an 80-year-old to be doing the splits.

MARY HI would like for haul to go above and beyond if someone left something and they threw it in the dumpster, I.left four blankets in there with a good microwave, I don't believe they threw it away, I believe they saw it and out it in their car, their reaction when I pulled up was very suspicious, the quilted blanket was made by my mother and now it's gone😤😤😤😤😤

They said due to high theft I did not have the ability to get any dolly whatsoever and then I got overcharged $50 when I returned the U-Haul after they said I would get a $22 credit because the U-Haul had zero gas in it and I almost ran out of gas going to the gas station
JASON CMake sure that equipment is up to code and safe for other customers, i.e. lights, wiring and tires. In my case both locations I went to the tires on the equipment were unacceptable. Being that, 1) The tires were 5 years out of date and were dry rotted and bubbling out. 2) The next location the tires were withing a good date however they were completely bald.
ROBERT WI went to pick up my truck and equipment and was informed they did not have any sort of dolly which I reserved 2. So that was a problem as it made moving much harder.

J AI rented a 26 foot JH truck, it was in rough condition, 2008 model year - so near 20 year old equipment, and the air conditioning did not work, it’s unfortunate to pay money to rent something and it not include basic necessities such as air conditioning especially in southern Arizona, U-Haul needs to do better at cycling out aging equipment or at least keep it in acceptable condition.
MICHAEL MYou couldn’t. I had a medical emergency on the road that included two ER visits. The drop off U-Haul site was completely understanding and provided me extra days to drop off my 5’x8 trailer. What excellent customer service and gracious folks. The East Benson Hwy site was slightly tricky to reach, but we made it despite Google sending us the wrong way.

REDAR SYou've got to be kidding me? The Tucson location is a disaster. I and my pet almost died due to a faulty U-Haul. Could have gotten heat stroke with a blown AC, national/local office then giving his horror show "advice" ("pull over and wait" (for an hour and a half" and "you can drive an hour to another town") with a blown out AC that the mechanic later said would have likely led to major malfunction. Then got hung up on TWICE for being "upset." LOL Their feelings were more important than my safety and well being. I then ask to get a refund on ONLY the truck and NOT the tow dolly. They give me $50. Then call me to argue that "People don't die that fast" in the heat (but people can be rendered incapacitated due to heat stroke in less than 30 minutes but hey...so why bother refunding me? Then the BEST part? "We did you a favor by not charging you for the tow" (of the UHaul and my stuff to the location I needed to go to 110 miles away. THEY DID ME A FAVOR!!!! Can you believe this shit? Well good thing this conversation was documented. I was only wanting a refund on the truck. They are DISGUSTING. Horrific. NO ONE SHOULD USE THEM EVER. They need to be sued into submission. Going on a quest to let everyone know about these folks

The initial text we received sent us to another location to pick up our trailer. when we got there at the allotted time, we were told the trailer was not there at the 22nd and Alvernon store and that we had to travel back to the Benson Highway location. The pick up time was already late for our plans to depart, but this run around made it much later and placed packing the trailer in the 103 degree heat of the day. On top of that, the attendant at the 22nd Street location was more interested in making sure his personal ear buds were found at the Benson Highway store than trying to sort out the foul up with the trailer. While at the 22nd Street ~ after the attendant made the call to the Benson Highway office, I did receive a text from them explaining the trailer would be at the Benson store. It would have been nice ~ at least good customer service to contact me before driving to the initial location and wasting a bunch of time. I am sure someone knew where the location of the trailer would be prior to the pick up time, and would have saved us addition time wasted in the run around. additionally, the people gave very misleading information to me regarding the drop off of the trailer here in Washington. Thankfully the Bremerton staff was able to clear up their erroneous information.

I went back and inside and asked peter, as to where I document the cigarette burn marks. He immediately put me in a different van to use for the day. very fast and efficient. the young man that checked my van in at 4:30 pm was very nice. I did not get his name. he even called me to ask if I dropped my keys in the parking lot. I returned to the location, and they were not my keys. I appreciated the fact he called me 20 min before closing time to let me know. great staff at this location!!

BOB MMy experience in Colorado was lacking majorly! Very disappointing experience there! The staff did a poor job of making me feel like a valued customer through their words, actions, poor scheduling, and most concerning was the fact that they provided me the oldest U-Boxes that were NOT safe and secure in any way! All the access hinges were on the outside and the box seemed as though it would fall apart easily. During transportation, the hinges on the boxes broke (not surprising...plus my lock was lost so I am out a lock that I purchased) so the AZ location had to screw the door closed. So disappointed in CO...Super happy with AZ!
Ashleigh WI picked up the Uhaul for a full day use. The individual that helped me was a new employee and was very rude, I checked around the truck, I noticed that there was a nail on the right driver rear side of the truck. The tire was very low, I my-self along with my workers loaded all of our personal items into the truck and we brought the truck back to the Benson Highway location to have the tire checked. The gentleman that was new was very rude to us, after a long conversational argument, the young gentleman decided to switch out this original rental truck I reserved to another bigger truck. It was a very inconvenient way to do business. My-self along with my workers had to take all of the personal items and move it into another truck which took most of our morning. I was not satisfied with your customer service and how we were treated.

Telling her employee to just give me the 800 number. All the employees I dealt with were awesome. The manager on the other hand was horrible. Didn’t care nor could she be bothered. When I pulled my RV out, the gate got stuck. It was hanging half open and the office was unaware it was broken. How can you consider this lot secure??

Once my keycard didn't work and the office was a good 100 yards from the entrance. the person at the front desk must have sent me back to the gate 3 times with "try it now" before they manually opened it for. should have done that in the beginning was a bout a half hour I was waiting to get in. I also emailed the manager 3 times with no response over a 2 week period to cancel the unit when I moved out. Then also called a week before the renewal to tell them I had moved out weeks earlier. The person on the phone said it was closed. then I got an email 2 days after renewal to say I had a late fee. Then called and got another person who I think finally closed it out. so 3 emails and 2 calls just to get it closed.

My issue with this facility, and the reason for the lower rating is the challenge in redeeming the free month of storage u-haul offers. They claim at 90% they don’t have to honor the contract you have yet a call to corporate and they will tell you that is NOT the policy. End result is, after several calls and a couple hours time to corporate, they honored my contract.
