I ordered 2" hitch and was told it would be ordered and installed on saturday the 5th got a call that the tech could not do saturday and got a new appt. for the 8th @ 8:00 @ 10:30 on the 8th my car was still on the lot got a new appt. for 7:00 AM on the 12th. They were very timely.,but installed a 1 1/4 hitch. The person @ the desk said I would have to wait for a call from the manager. I am still waiting.Sid R.

Give back the holding fee. Was charged 75 for a 50 dollar rental because of the card. Haven't gotten it back. They should also pre inspect a vehicle to see if you can tow. Not wait until you pay first.Bailey S.

None and I mean none of the equipment I had rented was available, then why let me reserve it. I showed up with those reservations could of called to say "hey we don't have any rental equipment" so that I don't have to waste time buying it separately while I'm using the truckbrock B.

Super friendly staff. The first truck I was issued had a couple issues, so they swapped it out for another one without any trouble or hesitation. I rented a truck that had some kind of fuel or exhaust leak and it came into the cab and into my belongings and I got real lightheaded and nauseous and almost threw up. Had to pull over and wait a while to drive and then when unloading the stuff I got sick again when I told the gentleman at the U-Haul in Bremerton, he said oh, somebody probably broke the tube stealing the gas like it was no big deal.Murrell S.
I rented a truck and a tow trailer and was told to just pull up the truck so he could hook up the trailer. After he hooked it up he said I was good to go (I should have double checked but I assumed he knew best). On the way home my wife noticed the trailer tire looked a little low, but I thought nothing of it because he wouldn't have given me a trailer with a low tire. Well he did, not only was it low but it had a whole nail in it. So I had to drive the truck and the trailer all the way back to the location I picked it up at (which is 20 minutes from my house) for them to fix it. Well I was told I either had to call roadside or drive over a hour in the truck to get another. The manager was very nice about it and gave me no issues. But I feel if someone else had done their job then it would have been a quick fix instead of an inconvenience to the customer.Nickya L.

Tons of hidden fees, despite early return of the vehicle. The truck smelled heavily of marijuana and the staff were completely lost while trying to navigate their own software. All in all, you couldn't pay me enough to use Uhaul again.Shane C.

The clerk needs to be trained in customer service. The man who waited on us I believe was being trained by the manager. The manager was polite and spoke in a respectable way. but he was silent while allowing his clerk to complete the transaction. The employee spoke in a command tone, as in "army commander tone" in a borderline rude manner. He had no manners. He also needs to use a yellow highlighter not a dark green highlighter to emphasize the most important information on the contract /agreement doc which became very difficult to read. i.e. for example: the specific address where we were to return it and at what time. They had a whole fleet of UHAUL vehicles in their lot not being rented... they also claimed, when I questioned the extraordinarily high price that it was "UHaul corporation" policy. i.e."pick up point different from drop off point". They also claimed something about it being "leased" to validate the higher price. Whatever the reason it is a great exploitation. Its already hard to get off that island UHAUL shouldn't take advantage of the customer that way. We are previous customers and paid at the rate advertised of $19.95/day. This recent event we were charged $189. for a 24 hour period. We were told by a UHAUL Customer Service phone rep when I questioned the exorbitant price that it was up to the business we rented the box truck from but the service person who received the vehicle on our return inside Seattle, said no it is a UHAL policy. Whatever the reason or excuse it is grossly unfair and I am not happy at all with the price we were charged.Mckinley E.

The afterhours return process was supposed to be simple but it was NOT! My phone wouldn't do location. I finally called someone who forwarded my call to another department who helped me change location on my phone. Why don't you just have a QR code at the site that can be scanned or when someone is called on the phone when "location" is not working, why can't they check in the truck. The only difficulty that I had with the experience was using the rental website on my phone. I apparently selected Sunday as the rental date, but I thought I had selected Monday. The facility was clean, well maintained, and the worker who helped me went above and beyond! Great customer service is hard to find now days, but not at Uhaul! You guys did an amazing job! I don't know if you give out kudos to workers, but Matt definitely deserves a coffee!Keith H.

When i made the reservation 5/26/21 for 26' truck and rental unit, the rental unit was advertised to be free for the 1st month. I noticed immediately after confirming the reservation that I was charged $89.95. I sent an email right then saying this was to be free and to cancel if there is a charge. As of 06/01/21 I have not received a response nor a refund for this amount. I began renting a storage unit at the end of April of this year; and since that time I paid every month by way of automatic debit. On at least one occasion the hinges of my door were tampered with; and I right away alerted the staff. (I was glad I chose the extra insurance in case of theft etc.) Throughout my time there many times I had to walk to the office and request they unlock the door during normal business hours; and found difficulty with my key-card working consistently. This was inconvenient as many times there were long lines and I got tired of waiting. When I was notified that my cost was increasing, and had moved to another location, I made the decision to exit and left the unit in good clean condition for which I have a whitness. After vacating the unit I spoke with the staff; and they retained my key-card; and issued a refund. Subsequently I received a late notice stating that I had not paid. I sent numerous emails and called to resolve the matter. By contract however, the truck rentals over the years has been helpful with easy transitions; and problem free service.KASEY G. | Overall Experience
