With my stuff only in storage for less than 3 months move had chewed into all my boxes. I never would have rented if someone said there was a mouse infestation

She actually cared about what I was going through and treated me with nothing but respect. she reached out after hours, communicated by text and did everything she could for me. I couldn't afford the unit after leaving a domestic violence situation and she made sure I got my grandma's pictures out of there. the other woman was great too on greeting us and seeing if we need help. great great staff.
Terri S | Overall ExperienceI am extremely disappointed in this U-Haul! One of the times that I had to rent a truck, the front end of the truck was shaking and wobbling badly. I called to let them know because I didn’t feel it was safe to drive. I was told that it would be fine and to just take it easy. I did Not feel safe but I didn’t have any option but to drive it that way! There was a flood that ruined some of my things in storage. I was Not notified of the flooding. I just happened to go to the storage and found out that it flooded. I only got a phone call and a text the next day. I paid 117.00 for an indoor storage unit so that my things would be safe and Not be damaged! Then I find out that U-Haul does not carry insurance for such situations. So sorry your things are all muddy, warped, and ruined. When I came to get my things from my unit the door would Not open. I had to go get help from the desk. I tried to call prior to going hoping that I could get a hold of someone instead of driving around the building but….. No answer. When I went in to get help the phone was ringing and the girl sitting at the counter was on her phone. I am highly upset and will Not be using this facility again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

We rented a small U-Haul box truck and we needed it earlier then we thought and they covered that with no problems glad to do it and we needed the truck longer then we expected and they took care of that with no problems…The day I rented it while doing paperwork they had the truck out front…running ..with the air conditioner on…!!!!!
FRED M | Overall ExperienceLoved the staff very friendly and helpful. The storage area it self was awful. I paid almost 200$ a month for climate control that never worked. It was always freezing in the winter and so hot in the summer it was unbearable.

General Manager Samantha is a male 'Don' he and his men hunted for me overnight with 7 police departments. Next morning, today - banned from property, UHaul confiscated stole all property. Said I trespassed on property, day 2. I was not allowed to get a winter coat from the unit. I am stranded in West Virginia - Uhaul and 7 police department hunt for me. I do not live here, I simply dropped off property at UHaul to board a Greyhound for San Jose California for an extended 6 month trip. Word is UHaul is the leader of a secret organization named Ohm, he has 200 men in his group - a sickening cannibalism group, killed one million people in the area.

TIMOTHY R | First ImpressionsMice damaged almost all of the clothes and many of our blankets and bedding. I knew the storage wasn’t climate controlled…but didn’t know mice were an issue…after a year or so in storage, we noticed some droppings around the entry so upon inspecting further, the wife and I trashed many thousands of dollars of partially eaten and/or covered in mice excrement belongings. The wife asked a female worker if we could use the dumpster that was on site, and was given the Ok. The next day got a call that I was being charged a hundred dollars and I would pay or get locked out of my storage…that we just paid for the following month. I returned to the facility and explained the situation to an older female employee and was told that the other person didn’t work the day before, that she would never tell us we could use the dumpster, basically that I and my wife were liars…I removed all my belongings the following day and to a non UHaul storage. I will not be returning nor recommending anyone to the Anmoore WV UHaul store.

Gracie B | First ImpressionsAfter years of patronage I call to find out the status, they say the month was paid, but there was a storm and they opened my unit and threw out my 19th century antiques. No permission at all! After several months of trying to get through I get a call. Long story short when I go to purchase back my stuff, it's all gone! The unit was full. The staff even took a picture to show me previously. All I see in it is a snowblower, a sander, odds and ends. A bunch of thieves. Pure and simple. Never again.
JAMES L | Overall ExperienceAll my expensive furniture that I owned my big TV my dressers my kids dressers my entertainment center my computer stand , my stereo system and speakers that was a 1000 dollar set alone got ruined my couch and so much more but they were worried about the few months that the weather was bad and they never replied to my message and and most of my stuff that got got flooded in that place and they didn't care about the value of what was lost in flood because they didn't have flood insurance they only cared about the money for the storage for what I had left in there of my kids and sadly I was told I could get it out in 72 hrs but then was told different after they waited longer to get back to me, I called and left message and even got a number to text because I never got an answer when I called then when she calls my sister she's just worried about money not the message I left and I called the number to speak with a manager and he gave me a number to text and let her know I wanted to get my stuff I had left, out in 72 hrs and she never replied back for over a month or two and it was just to sent email said the bill was now over 800 and told my sister she never heard from me and I know better because I left message and text to
holly F | Overall ExperienceMy unit had mice get into it and chewed the bottom out of my grandmother's china hutch and made a nest in the drawers and left droppings all over it and my plastic totes. Other than that staff was very good to deal with and I let the girl know about the mice and all I got was a oh lovely so it is what it is. Have to find someone to repair the hutch. Thanks

My unit was flooded and they through away 75 percent of my possessions without my Vincent or me seeing it first. Not only that the insurance they provide to you doesn’t cover flooding so the thousand and thousands of dollars they through away can’t be replaced.

He was rude and condescending each time to us and other customers, but when I got to the Anmoore WV location Sam and Sheena were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful! It’s clear they take great pride in the conditions of the facility, the service they provide, and they really went out of their way to make sure my needs were met. Sam and Sheena are amazing at representing your brand and thanks to the experience I had with them I am moving out of another storage facility and taking on two more units in their location. They should both absolutely be commended and recognized for how they care for your customers!!

Christopher M | Online Move InMy unit didn't have any lights inside. Although light came in from the hallway I have vision difficulties and it was too dark for my experience. I went there one day to get some items from my unit and the door to that section wasn't working so I couldn't get to my unit. I understand it was an electrical problem the staff had no control over but possibly another entrance would be necessary if something happens again. The staff I dealt with were great and very friendly.

Customer service said they would reimburse me but when i called they said they could not do that

So I had to drive 3.5 hours one way to fix their problems and move my gear from one unit to another. It took 10 hours of my time and a hundred bucks in gas to fix their mistakes.

All my furniture was brand new only like a year old n had to rent an industrial Upholstery cleaner just to clean my furniture. And had to buy new beds because they were so bad.
