The lights on uhaul didn't work it was the first time I had towed something since having the hitch installed there. I don't know if the problem was in the new hitch or the trailer but lights didn't work. I will need to rent again on December 8 th and need to figure this out first.alford B.

My pick up was less than desirable. I've rented from this location multiple/multiple times over 20 years. They stated they didn't know I had a reservation. It was made on line and all information was uploaded. It was a cold night. They made no attempt to go retrieve the truck and have it running. I had to walk the parking lot and find which one was mine. It was difficult to back it out where it was located. The trailer gate was frozen and I therefore couldn't put my stuff inside that I had intended to transfer over from my vehicle. The return was uneventful.Mark P.

My unit didn't have any lights inside. Although light came in from the hallway I have vision difficulties and it was too dark for my experience. I went there one day to get some items from my unit and the door to that section wasn't working so I couldn't get to my unit. I understand it was an electrical problem the staff had no control over but possibly another entrance would be necessary if something happens again. Waited in drop off area for over 30 mins .. had to go inside and let the employees at the counterk know I was out there.. monitors were operating as I could see my truck. Was told to just drop it off .. once again I had to remove the trailer with no assistance.. never have I had to hook up and disconnect .. guess times are changing .. good thing at the age of 65 I can still do this without young people that could have use the proper equipment. They didn't have what I ordered at the first place I wanted in Fairmont WV, so they tell me the day before that they don't have them in Fairmont WV and you'll need to pick up your uhaul in Annmore WV. Then was nice enough to give me .69 cents instead of .99 cents a mile so I was cool with it BUT then I show up to annmore to get my order and they don't have it. After that they figure out they have a 27 foot for me to rent and then turns out the cop worker beside her it already renting the 27 foot one so now there's nothing for me and I had to settle for a 15 foot and the things I had to move were 16 foot long so they hung out of the uhaul and ended up getting damaged so I'm not very happy about your companies disorganization.Timothy C.

i was supposed to have 5 free storage units over 2 years. but they charged me for the second unit. i called customer service and they agreed with me but the manager would not agree and they charged me for it. The brakes were hard to press. Something was going on when you turned; either the ti rod or the axle. And they charge me extra for fuel when I put $30.19 in and I only drove 57 miles so that means your truck is only getting 6.7 miles to the gallon. I know where the gauge was when I drop the truck off. It was over the seventh or eighth line and they are lying.TABITHA A.

Have the truck ready so you don't need to walk down the double aisle searching. My brother the driver can't walk real far. Also it would very beneficial to have space to park while picking up and returning equipment. Employees were pleasant.Terry I.

The employees at the rental place were very friendly. The truck itself was dirty inside and out. It had several dents and scratches- the check engine light was on the entire time I had the truck. I tried to upload photos on the app and the app froze. I spoke to Casey at the uhaul store and he told me to take pics and if anything was said when I returned the truck to have them call him.donna E.

I made an appointment to have a hitch put on my car at this office when I went over to the appointment they couldn't do it so I had to go to Elkins and haven't done then I came over and had a wiring harness put on and they didn't put it on right so it was messing up my lights and stuff so I came back over there and had him to take it off and just give it to me and I will go to the Elkins store although I live here in Clarksburg but I really love the Elkins storereona H.

I've used this uhaul location previously. When I picked up my vehicle on Thursday there were multiple employees standing behind the counter, using language and carrying on a conversation that was not appropriate to be had in front of a customer. The gentleman that was helping set up my rental was pleasant but would often look at the text messages on his phone WHILE HE WAS HELPING ME. Additionally, he asked if another associate would want to find the keys to my rental in a lockbox and his response was â€œNo, not really.â€ Thankfully, the associate who was outside cleaning the rentals came in and found the keys I needed. He was the only one among the entire group that displayed any professionalism. I'm very disappointed to see that management lets this kind of behavior happen. It's blatant disrespect to the customers.Brandon C.

I don't rate it higher because I was initially put into a unit that management later told me I had to move out of. The storage facility was not close to me at that point. So I had to drive 3.5 hours one way to fix their problems and move my gear from one unit to another. after completing the self check out it took 45 mins to track down the keys to my rental in which the detail employee had, the kid with his ass out an pants to his knees with no shit on eating a Popsicle at the desk wasnt ne help at all.. upon finally getting my keys i then go to the rental which as soon i upon the door was filthy then as i walk around the vehicle i notice all kinds of damage not to mention the uhaul name missing partial from one side so i walk back inside to inform the employees which after stating several times they needed to make document of the condition and damage of the rental did they do so.. then as im in the process of moving im pulled over due to a liocense plate light out which i was unaware of good thing i was only given a warning.. i also emailed several times in regard to my rental and well i still am waiting to receive correspondence back from.. this was the worst uhaul exp i have ever had and i have been a customer for several yrs. my advice i dunno if i even have a store in anmore thats how displeased i amJoshua W.

I was supposed to return a truck at 5pm today. When I arrived this AM there was a mix up because someone had returned a truck the day prior and the key was hanging there but no one had bothered to check it back in. I had to wait while that was done. Now this evening I returned the truck at 4:50. I have a witness to that time. It was not checked in until 6:30 and I was charged for 2 days rental and 2 days insurance. Talk about screwing your customers to cover incompetence. Last use of this place.Lynda R.

All my stuff was mildewed and molded. In a climate controlled unit, was only there about 4 months. All my furniture was brand new only like a year old n had to rent an industrial Upholstery cleaner just to clean my furniture.
