I rent trucks from this location 5-6 times a year. The staff is always friendly AND helpful.

Christin BI waited an entire hour past my scheduled time for a trailer, then was offered trailers that would not work for me at all. The manger told me the trailer I asked for would be 10 minutes late which I did agree to, I did not however agree to 60 minutes late. I asked about the 50$ Uhaul offers when the equipment you scheduled doesn’t show up and the manager said because she offered me a trailer that wouldn’t work and that I agreed to “waiting” I wouldn’t receive the 50$ off. I will not be going back and hope they get better customer service soon.

mark wExcellent service and exceptional courtesy from Asst Mgr Jacob, who helped get me set up a day prior to drop-off and very generously offered to stay late to assist this U-Haul customer with cargo unload following my 6.5 hour drive. Kudos to him and to Alex, CSR, for their friendly, customer-first approach for truly "going the extra mile."
MORDECHAI TWhen I arrived and began checking the employee left me sitting there for about half hour to help someone else not in the store. I have rented many times before and had reserved but had to redo my information. This is a little ridiculous for someone who has rented before and returned equipment with no damage. Will have to reconsider if I will rent from Uhaul again.

BRIAN MUnit was clean, secure and dry. Easy secure access via the card swipe security system. Free Use of a U-Haul lock made it secure. Staff at the Stickney Ave, Concord were always friendly and helpful. They made it a very pleasurable experience.

Sandra HI rented twice this weekend, so I am providing this feedback twice. I will not be reserving a uhaul truck in the future. This has nothing to do with the location, but rather the new practice of attaching moving blankets and a dolly TO THE INSIDE OF THE UHAUL with no way to remove them unless I wanted to be charged for their use. If I were interested in reserving either of those items, I would have and could have during any of the 500 times it asked during the checkout process. Additionally, this impeded the moving process, putting those items directly next to the rear door was deeply inconvenient. They blocked access and reduced the total available space inside of the truck. Zero stars.

Andrew FMaybe have a clearer location to pick up the keys for a on line pickup, skipping people waiting in line without a designated sign for online pickup can lead to conflicts between customers, employees were awesome. Drop off I was asked to leave it in the equipment drop off lane and not put it in a spot, so would be good if the online return process had that optuon. Overall good experience.

Spencer CThe truck itself was terrific - clean, low mileage and easy to drive. the pickup experience was terrible. one senior employee and two trainees at the location - and with only two people in front of me it took an hour to pick up the truck. Also, I told them I would need the truck until the following afternoon, but then got a call the next morning from UHaul in Dover saying it was supposed to be dropped off at 12:45 - while I was in the middle of transporting our second load of the day. I got it back by 2PM - earlier than I had planned - but felt very rushed. Dropping off in Dover on Central St was a much nicer experience.
Alan MAlthough all of the representatives I encountered were kind, polite, and helpful, the manager was an absolute rock star. I arrived for my trailer pick-up after a long and sustained very busy and hectic run for them. Still, they were not flustered or annoyed, and showed a great commitment to my positive experience at their shop, especially the manager, who showed a great deal of concern for my safety, and the proper training of a new associate. She noted during hook-up that my hitch was low, and set about making the adjustment necessary to raise it, when noticing that the ball of the hitch was too close to my bumper, she obtained and installed a longer receiver, when after testing realized that a trailer light was not working, she ran tests, and determined that the trailer light was faulty and then set me up with a different trailer - all with a very positive and helpful approach. Throughout my experience yesterday, the manager/lead was pleasant, upbeat, super helpful and attentive, and highly professional. I genuinely feel that her attitude and behavior carried over to the other rest of her team, who she directed clearly and appropriately, and who also seemed to be at the top of their game. With regard to the associate training I observed, the manager was patient and thorough, taking every opportunity to explain and show the new hire what he needed to be successful in his role. Lastly, and at the risk of sounding sexist, the manager was very well 'put together'. She obviously took pride in herself, her appearance, her work, and her role. She absolutely represented your company well in every regard, and I would suggest that you are very fortunate to have her on your team, and leading your group in Concord. I have had many good experiences at his location over the years, but yesterday was by far the very best. Thank you.

CHARLES MIt was hard to find the keys so I had to go and ask where to find them, which defeated the purpose of contactless pickup. The mirror adjustment buttons were nowhere to be found on the truck so that made it a little scarier to drive on the highway. Brakes smelt awful when using (even gently). The window roll down handle was broken prior to me getting in. The truck itself was very clean and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Would recommend the Concord Uhaul just based on the staff.

Curtis MOrdered a 20 foot truck. When I showed up to get it, they did not have a truck for me. I ended up with a smaller truck. Then they told me to drop it off “in Bow.” No address. We had to hunt around for the place to drop it, which was not well marked at all.
ALBERT MCheck in was a S-show - you had one person training that had no clue and the other person trying to help her and then take care of multiple customers at the same time - You need to start the process with one customer and then get to the others - she was waiting on three people at once and we were 1/2 late getting to out pick-up - unacceptable.
Peter HUhauls reservation system is terrible. The app and online systems asks too many questions, there more questions trying to sell me boxes or packing supplies than relevant to the rental itself. I rent a small trailer frequently and have to go through the same reservation mess each time. It's easier for me to rent an $80k excavator than a little 6 ft trailer. Every uhaul location Ive used seems under staffed. Unfortunately not a lot of options so I guess I'll be back. Connecto for railer lights was faulty which further added to delay and frustration.

MICHAEL RTwice once when making the reservation and then while checking in via the app I declined the added insurance. When my friend picked up the trailer at U-Haul while I was at work the associate did not advise him the insurance was optional and made it sound like he had to pick one of the insurance options. Since I had already declined the insurance twice it should not have come up at all, it should not have been added via deceptive practices, and U-Haul should be ashamed of this fraud.
Michael CI have rented from this location several times before. I was surprised and unhappy to be asked this time to provide two contacts AND CALL THEM before I could rent a pickup just because UHaul no longer uses their own equipment but leased from others. This was inconvenient.

When I arrived back the female employee was extremely rude to me because apparently I did not fill out the equipment link prior to leaving. Was charged $76 extra!!!!! For 10 miles!!!!

Douglas SI am giving this rental a below average rating because of the overall frustrating customer experience. I will say that the employees at this location were very good. But the system they are working with is not. Three major issues with this rental: 1. I spent 15-30 minutes entering my order online, going through all of the screens that want to sell additional items (insurance, boxes, help loading, etc). When I picked up my rental, I had to reenter all of this information with the person assisting me, including re-entering my drivers license etc. Additionally, items I had declined were on my new receipt. I had to have the assistant re-do the agreement. My point is why is any of this necessary if the customer completes the order on-line? 2. When I arrived to pick up the rental vehicle (a pickup truck), I opened the UHaul app on my phone. A screen said I needed to update my app. After I gave the OK to update, the app no longer functioned. "Oops - Something went wrong" screen. This app is still broken. 3. This is my worst complaint: Because I was renting a pickup truck (which are apparently not owned by Uhaul, but leased through a 3rd party), UHaul insisted they needed to contact two other people by phone about this rental. This is ludicrous. I gave them my wife (who I run a business with and who knew why I was renting the truck) and my son (who had no idea I was renting a truck nor why). Further, neither is expecting a call from UHaul at 9am in the morning. This is a ridiculous policy and needs to be rethought. If it exists the next time I try to rent a pickup from UHaul, I will take my business elsewhere. UHaul: You can do much better than this! You used to be an easy company to work with. Please fix this!

Once I got to this location, the attendant had me fill out intake paperwork with the same questions I had already been asked over the phone. That visit took about an hour out of my day. Then, several days later, the attendant called me back into the office out of the blue to flll out that same paperwork again. I canceled the unit I signed up for about 2 weeks into my trial, and got billed at the end of my trial anyway for a different unit number that I never even signed up for. This other unit was never mentioned to me, never shown to me, never granted access to, and never used. Every second of my time in this building and speaking to any the staff handling my services felt sketchy, and for good reason because it turns out I was being signed up for extra services withoit my knowledge or consent. On top of all of this, they also billed me twice as much for my truck rental as what the rental contract stated, and I had to fight for what turned out to only be a partial refund on the amount owed back to me. I spoke with customer care who was helpful in submitting my dispute and clarifying what was owed back to me, yet the store manager Natasha who was supposed to handle the case was argumentative, condescending, and rude. Interesting that a supervisor would talk to a customer like that right after getting caught red handed committing credit card fraud.

However, i called a few days before i knew my unit would renew, to verify when i needed to have my unit cleaned out and closed before i was charged. I was told i had through the 23rd before i would be charged. I woke up on the 23rd to get my last few pieces out and to close my unit only to realize my account had already been charged for the unit which took the last of my money and put me in the negative. When i got to the store i asked to speak to the manager about this issue and was told she was not on premises but they would have her call when she got in. She never called, only sent an automated email when she approved the refund. This "mistake" took the last little bit of money i had and has now cost me even more due to over draft fee, you took resources away from me providing for my kids and im not even worth a call back.

Melinda N | Overall ExperienceThe staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I really want to stress that I find no fault whatsoever with those who helped me. They really made my experience. That being said, Uhaul's (the corporation, not its employees!!) policy of first come, first served even with a reservation was shocking and honestly made for a horrifying moving-in experience. I came thinking I would have a drive up outside unit, and ended up having to tetris my belongings inside a 4x8 1st floor unit and a 2nd floor 6x7 unit. Again, the employees of this location are great. The corporate policy of Uhaul of 'first come, first serve' even with a reservation will ensure I never use this Uhaul services ever again. It is a really terrible policy, I hope that will be reversed. Thank you again to the great employees of this location.

Karin S | First ImpressionsYour staff was fine, the space was fine... but we were initially told by the national call sent that we were getting a drive up 10x10. When i got to your facility, there wasn't one available. I don't know what reservation system issue there is between the site & national, but that, for us, meant we had to find a 10 x 10 somewhere else, then move everything out of the tiny space you had avail... and only had inside access too. Aside from that, we were charged $20 late fee, because we weren't notified by phone or text that we were going to be past due... and ended up getting a US Mail letter, that was sent to our old address, forwarded to our new address... AFTER the $20 was already paid. I was told by national that they couldn't credit it, and that an email would be sent to the site manager. I still haven't heard from anyone about crediting that $20. I arrived yesterday to clean out the unit, after already having paid the month & late fee, and found a second lock on the unit, which I had to go inside & deal with. I'll be unlikely to use UHaul again for storage.
