I hated the fact that I was OVERCHARGED to rent a flatbed trailer for two days rental when I drove 3.5 hours one way from AZ into CA. I was told Uhaul sets the pricing and because I drove from one state to the other and I would be changed a flat 2 day rate. Then I was told when I return the rental my account would be adjusted. This is totally unfair and I wouldn't have rented this one way travel especially when I was driving the trailer BACK to California where these are needed. When I rented it in AZ they told me when I return the trailer my balance would be refunded for the time that I used the trailer, NOT TRUE. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN.

Whoever had the trailer last completely tangled the ratchet straps inside the mechanism. It took an hour to untangle. Also the ratchets were very rough and could have used some oil for lubrication. Making this an employees duty when returning a trailer could extend the life and ease of use of the ratchet straps for the next person

Equipment was not clean, but was in working condition. We rent car haulers a few times a year and feel they should offer some sort of discount for repeat customers.

Wasnt happy with the service at all. Got it empty, but yet had to fill it up and return it with a quarter tank?? Makes no sense. Anyways, returned the truck by 2 o'clockish and had an employee tell me I'm good, he will send me an email. By 6 pm I got 2 calls and voicemail asking me when will I return the truck...odd right since I already did. Just not good that's not something you should mess up on. Anyways the truck did it's job but wasn't stoked with having to return it when I was just going to rancho Santa Margarita. Extra 25 or so miles paid when I didn't need to.

Have rented from this location twice, had some issue, but the manager was very nice. He left an extremely helpful and nice msg. Took care of my issue. Was very empress on how the manager handled the problem. This recent rental, had problem signing in the checkout, the site was down for maintenance. Had to leave site. so I called the 24 hr line. I received an email this morning, everything was good. This location is just very busy, you just have to make sure you check in earlier than your pick up time., and do you walkthrough inside/out. Would recommended.

I was able to move up the pick up date by a day with just a phone call. Fast service, good location for freeway access, but there is no space for parking while using the rental. The 15" truck with the ramp was perfect size for my load.

I have a complaint about U-Haul in general. In 2020, there's a lot of demand for one-way trucks, especially leaving San Francisco. You should re-purpose your in-town trucks to meet this demand, instead of being so inflexible about in-town versus one-way.

I called to discuss my rental and was on hold for 25-30 minutes. I drove to the location and saw pretty much nobody there. I went inside to ask my questions. There were 3 staff members just standing around and helping no one. I commented on the long phone hold and was told “we just got to come up for air” because they were busy. It absolutely did not appear this way.

The truck was not clean on the inside the cab or back of truck, no windshield cleaner, windshield was filthy, and truck steering response was awful. Counter service rep was friendly and helpful, the truck's condition was the issue.

The parking situation is awful here. It's really limited and I had to park in a nearby neighborhood and walk, while I was on a time crunch. I think the rental process and finding parking took longer than the actual picking up furniture that I rented the truck for.

scheduling department is not on the same page as the store and there should be more coordination between the two.

I was offered a $50 discount to drop off the trailer in a location different than the location I had planned. I declined the offer but the person must have said I wanted it because when I dropped it off at my original location, I was charged $50 for dropping it off at the wrong spot.

I will never use uhaul again. The trailer I reserved, I had to rent a truck which screw me up. I now have to travel back to LA to pick up a car, that why I want a trailer to haul stuff home. U-Haul is going to cost me additional money and time off of work because you over books your rentals ! The truck I got had the check engine light now which cause an uneasy feeling driving for 8 hours !! I will never rent for you again !!'

At least my issues were not as bad as the customer in front of me. He flew down from NorCal and was there to get a pick up truck. There was NO truck. Since the faux customer service facade and general circus atmosphere was all I had to deal, I guess I should count myself lucky. What U-Haul needs to understand is that due to life circumstances, most customers that show up there are under a lot of stress getting things moved.

AFTER I LOADED THE TRUCK, TOOK IT ON THE HWY AND IT WAS PULLING REALLY BAD, THIS WAS LATE AT NIGHT SO I PULLED INTO A GAS STATION AND FOUND THE RIGHT REAR OUTER TIRE HAD NO AIR, I WAS ONLY ABLE TO FILL IT UP HALF WAY TO SPEC AT THE GAS STATION, WHICH MADE IT NOT PULL, AND I CONTINUED ON TO MY DESTINATION

I understand the demand for trucks is very high for one way moves from California but I was very disappointed that the 15 foot truck I tried to reserve 3 or 4 weeks prior was not available. We fortunately ended up with a 10 footer and had to leave several items behind. Very disappointed that this happened.

Make a usual renters program. It's tedious to go through all the process every single time. I usually rent 7 times a year(not covid year). And doing the same thing all the time is annoying especially when I rent the same truck or trailer or both. Please!

Over the course of the last month I have had many unsatisfactory dealings with uhaul. From not having a truck When reserved., to not having a person to do the hitch as scheduled, to seeing an employees kid at work, and then being told it's because she's sick and can't go to day care. And the mom moved my car. Think covid. The said thing is that she was the best worker I have seen in all my dealings. Obviously employees don't feel comfortable with taking sick days which are encouraged by most companies right now in a pandemic.

The rental truck was giving in poor maintenance condition. Not clean, inside or outside. I took pictures of the this vehicle. While driving the oil light was on display the whole time. Also, the shocks and suspension was not maintained as well. This was the worse rental experience.

The three people who waited on me were very rude. I am exempted from wearing a mask due to health reasons, and that seemed to upset them very much. I was told to get out of the building and I complied and asked if someone could finish my pick up (I reserved online in advance) and a person came outside to do that. They treated me with hostility and contempt, even threatening to cancel my reservation, I have patronized this Uhaul location for many years and this was the first time I have ever been treated so horribly.

I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.
