I told the rep I needed to rent a truck and a dolly to move a refrigerator. The dolly they put in the truck was way to small to move a refrigerator and it fell off nearly hurting one of us. Worse, the wheels on the dolly were so worn that the supports on the back of the dolly stuck out past the thin wheels and the dolly needed to be slid up the stairs. Our stairs were ruined of course. When I returned the equipment I noticed none of the other dollys had wear like the one I was given and would have worked fine. Tried calling them the next morning to let them know, spent 30 min on hold and gave up. The rep was very nice when I picked up the truck.

When I checked my trailer in contract # 23514454 at 3:00 PM on 6/22/2019 the gentleman that checked me in assured me that he would send me a receipt within 10 minutes via email. This did not happen, when I called to find out what happened to the receipt, no one would answer the phone, it was diverted to what I assume was customer service, all they could do was send the manager an email. Typical! A pocket of "I am Sorry" yet nothing got resolved! I ended up having to go down to the drop-off facility on 6/23/.2019 to get a receipt emailed to me for the drop off of the trailer. It is obvious that you have no regard for customer service, my time and the gas I burned to resolve a problem caused by your employee's incompetence. I have used U-Haul quite a bit in the past few years and I have a move coming up to Arizona, I will be looking hard to see if there are other rental options to make that move. I do not mind paying for the equipment and so far for the move to Arizona I have spent over 100 dollars on boxes at this facility. I have checked around and there are several places that sell moving supplies. I am vey dissatisfied with your customer service and your apparent inability to resolve issues that result from your employee incompetence.

Truck had bad play in the wheel, the brakes were soft, abs and brake light came on then shut off while cruising down the road a couple of times. As well as an oil and wrench light came on while I was almost to my storage unit to load the truck and stayed on all the way to return the truck. Just overall a unmaintained truck

Well I brought in the truck with slightly more fuel and I got it with and went a few miles over the limit, I thought it should have been a even wash but I was charged for the extra 10 miles. I guess when the calculate mileage it is from pickup point to drop off location and not to address then to drop off.

We were billed for extra days before they were accrued. Then, had to wait for a refund ...... That was an unnecessary hassle! Both the Duluth and Bemidji offices were great, but the extra day billing policy could use some revamping!

The young lady working the desk (only person that was there), was extremely pleasant, helpful and thorough. Even though there were at least 4 people in line at all times, she kept her cool and got everyone through the line as quickly as possible. She is a true gem of an employee for your company and deserves to be recognized as such. Huge kudos to her as she made a huge difference in my impression of the process.

I had some concerns when viewing the online comments about this location. My experience was very good! Young man helping me was efficient and professional. Hooked me up and got me on my way in short order.

I originally had an appointment for a Monday, the work could not get done at that point so I rescheduled for Thursday and was told there would be a discount. I got $10 off the original quoted price. Not much of a discount considering I had to arrange a second trip to drop off and pick up.

I much prefer the Ford cargo van we had rented a few weeks back. I'm not sure if it was just the Chevy cargo van we got his time, but it was very difficult to keep control of steering. The slightest movement of the steering wheel made the van feel as though we were out of control and going to go flying off the road. Figuring out the door locking/unlocking was also unclear. The next time I have to rent a cargo van which is going to happen at least yearly with my new job, if I show up and it's a Chevy van waiting for me, I won't take it and will make sure to specify the Ford model.

Don't park the hitch side of the trailers on the side that the return lane runs. Super inconvenient having to wait 30 minutes for an employee to stop traffic in the return lane so we could back the truck up to the trailer.

When I called to make my reservation I spoke to someone who I don't think was at this actual rental site. I have my pick up time as 6pm. My reservation was set up for 8am of that day. Luckily when I got there at 61pm, they were still able to have a trailer for me. I think the call center for reserations could do a better job.

The gentleman that helped me get started (I think his name was Joshua) was so helpful! He explained the process in a simple and effective way, and even helped me out by giving me the lowdown on previous damages, encouraging me to take pictures of anything I found. He really seemed to have my best interest in mind and made the process of picking up the truck simple and painless!

Reserved trailer was not available at the reserved site/time. They wanted to send me over 20 mins away to another location, but due to time constraints that would not work. Gave me a 4X7?? trailer instead; however failed to lower the rate and I was charged the $24.95 rate plus tax. This also required an extra trip between storage unit & the delivery site adding over 45 mins of extra work, plus mileage & gas to my day. Service there was not great and extremely frustrating to have a reservation & not get the equipment you reserved. Staffs response "a lot of trailers get stolen" LAME!

Paid 3 weeks in advance and they changed my location pick up 3 times causing me to travel 30 miles one way that I had to pay $50.00 in cab fair . And with them changing the pick up time and place they called me before the 24 hours was up wanting their truck returned asap and the older lady at the Miller trunk drop off threw her hands in my face while I was trying to explain to her what happened and that the truck sounded like it was dragging a brake or tire rubbing squeeling sound and you had to stand on the breaks to stop she didn't want to hear it. But when she threw her hands inches from my face wavying them to shut up then walked away totally IM DONE WITH UHAUL FOREVER NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

I called 3 times to notify the Uhaul office in Duluth about what day and time I would pick my Ubox up. I waited 50 min the first time, 40 minutes the second and and third call. I was transferred several times and each time I was promised an email to confirm-Never Received One!

I think that your advertising is quite deceptive! It says $19.95 but then there are so many "fees" that it ended up costing over $60 just for the truck. Then the mileage charge. For a $40 item I purchased it cost right around $115 for said item. I won't use you guys again unless I am totally desperate

Site claim that $35 a day was for only local 24 hr rental, no mult. day rentals during peak season. When showing displeasure they claimed I would be allowed a 48 hr one way at 3 time the standard rate - $95 a day for a trailer. Can you say bait and switch, if I was not in a spot I would have even gone and purchased a personal trailer to avoid doing business in this manner. I have mult. needs in the future for trailer needs and will plan accordingly to avoid business with Uhaul. My recommendation, being in the area for 20 yrs, to family and friends - go with Budget.

From the beginning when I spoke with a representative over the phone and at the end when I walked out the door after my hitch was installed everyone was a upbeat and clearly interested in trying to attend to what I was saying and what I needed. Make sure the amount in the gas tank is correct, they had 3/4 written on the contract but there was only 5/8 in it when I started down the road. When I brought it back to show them they said I only had to fill it up to 1/2, which was nice. I filled it back up to 5/8, the amount in it when I left. Thanks Raisen

for starters we were originally looking for a 5 by 8 uhaul to use. we got it all scheduled that we were going to be picking it up at 12:30. We get to the location and it was VERY disorganized... They ended up not having our size available and the size up was too much for our ford F150 to haul.. We ended up being in there well over an hour and a half with an incompetent, rude woman helping us. She kept screwing up what seemed to be routine things... She eventually hands us off to a coworker to deal with.. we eventually ended up getting a uhaul which was a 4 by 8 I believe and it couldn't fit all of our things... needless to say I wa extremely disappointed and WILL NOT. Be using this uhaul location again.

The staff was great and friendly but when i had gotten my things from my storage unit i discovered that my stuff had mold all over them, water damage and mice had burrowed into my matress.

The truck that I rented had a lot of spots of damage, which was not a big deal. However, it was noted that I needed to sweep it out/make sure it was clean before I returned it, but it wasn't clean when I got it. There was dirt and sand and debris in the corners of the storage part of the truck. I did clean it, though.

I often rent a trailer and have it for 10 to 12 hours but am only using it a small portion of that time. It seems like I am also pushed to keep it for 6 hours since thats "average" other then that everything went well

There must have been a system glitch in the reservation. Made the reservation through 5pm April 1st. Dominic called at 10:15 asking were it was and told me I had to return it now. This is while I was unloading the truck. He seemed upset at me for not complying with his request.

I was going to rent from Superior Uhaul, But the one trailer they had on the lot was not even in their system, and he had to call someone and be on hold forever. After expecting to have a trailer by 3, and not being able to get one in the same state till 430-5, I was frustrated. I've gone through Uhaul before and been in and out in 10 minutes, why cant that happen every time?

I got there and the truck I rented, the gas tank was on empty. The light turned on right as I left the lot. The guy who was working told me the uhaul I return the truck to will give me a credit, but I never received any credit and had to fill this tank up!!!!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. My only issue was that I put very little miles on it and I was charged what I thought was to much. When I got in the car there was half a tank of gas. When i returned it there was alittle less then half a tank and I was charged way to much. I thought my overall price was going to be $40 like the website said. But it ended up being $80. It was kind of a slap in the face

First off, the trucks are supposed to be returned at 1/4 tank of fuel. The truck I had was below that. The seals on the front drivers side door were constantly loose or falling off everytime the door was opened. This creating a whistling sound, approximately as loud as a train whistle, 6 inches away from the drivers ear. Not dangerous, but surely irritating. The wipers on the truck were old and did not clear the windshield well at all. I assume the exhaust on the truck was quite near falling off, judging by the noise the truck made. The biggest issues were the power steering and the brakes. The power steering was non-existent at low speeds. This was a large problem for me as I drove the truck to Minneapolis and picked up some cabinets. Parking was a two handed, shoulder and back wrenching, swearing, sweating workout. I imagine that parallel parking a wagon with a team of horses in Hong Kong would have been about as enjoyable. The brakes barely worked at low speeds as well. In order to stop in parking lots and park, I had to stand on the brake pedal with both feet. When I informed the store employee of these issues when dropping the truck off, all I got was a shrug and was told that it was supposed to be fixed. I am surprised that this truck was allowed to be rented out to customers. I am also surprised that I managed to not run over any innocent bystanders or at least rear end someone. A small miracle I suppose. Anyway, unless Uhaul does something to make up for this first and miserable rental experience, I will be sure to choose a different rental vehicle company next time.
