The equipment return is the weak link. Had to wait in line close to 30 minutes before staff was able to accept and inspect the return.

The people at Kinfolk saved the day! Found out at 3:30 the day before an 8 30 am pick up we were rerouted 22 MI to pick up another truck. I called U-Haul talked with Shawna who never came back to the phone so I started calling around myself and found kinfolk had one truck although it was larger it was the only truck near me I could find at the last minute. I had reserved a truck the beginning of the prior week yet I didn't find out till the afternoon before that I couldn't pick it up in Marion North Carolina as planned. It took hours to get this situated, of course at greater expense since we had no choice but to get a larger truck at the last minute. When we checked it into Asheville North Carolina we were told it needed gas yet my husband had filled it up prior to return. He agreed with the woman who was so rude that the level of gas wasn't registering as full yet no more gas could be put in as would spill out. We were not aware there was an issue with a gas gauge reflecting correctly. The woman who wouldn't listen and who treated my husband like he was dirt wouldn't consider that there might be an issue with the gauge. We understand it's her responsibility to check these but there's no reason to be mean.

The sanitizer or deoderant spray used in the vehicle was way too much. We had to drive with the windows down in 18 degree weather because we had headaches and trouble breathing.

The tire light came on and stayed on for the duration of my rental time. I pulled over to check tires myself and had to call UHaul Roadside Assistance to make sure the vehicle was ok to drive. Other than that, the vehicle was clean and worked well.

This location was wonderful. The Key West location cost me 3 extra hours by saying my car was prepared for the trailer when it needed hitch lights. I’m grateful the smart and capable long red-haired woman in Asheville locates it for me in Greenville and the squired never into their schedule at the last minute.

It came as a surprise that U-Haul had to make a phone call to an alternate contact in order for me to rent the truck. It was confusing and only slow down the process for me and everyone in the long line behind me. I made the reservation by phone so would have sped up the process if I knew ahead of time.

Since cell coverage is weak, it would be nice to have several kiosks to do check-in that does not require an associate.

Where is the orange drop box?. I walked around the entire building three times and Looked by the main entrance like it says online. Spent over 30 mins doing this. Never found it, had to push the key under the automatic door. What the hell man?!

We rented a trailer for 2 days . Was due back at 9am. We were running late, so i called they said, no problem i will extend your time. Well when we got there they charged us for a extra day. Was not happy about that at all

The truck had mechanical issues (no heat or defroster) for the entire trip. I had to wear a hat and coat to stay warm for 12 hours. The windows kept fogging up and I had reduced visibility for the entire trip. The receiving employee in the 28805 office was not concerned about addressing my concerns.

No one came out to help me find the Van. The woman said, "Oh, it's near the bridge, you'll find it." Well, I didn't. Fortunately, a customer helped me. No one showed me how to read the gas gage even though the woman who signed me up, promised that. In Reno, where I used to live, I had by far, better UHall experiences.

I like the mobile checkout but issues: - Mileage was wrong - Gas gauge was wrong - Had to dispute damages to every side of the truck Used the truck to make a quick Lowe's delivery. Returned truck clean and in better condition than received. Still got hit with a $15 cleaning fee. Everytime I rent a truck from this location, I get hit with some kind of additional fee. I sent an email the last time explaining the situation (including photos) and never received a response. You lost me as a client and I will do my best to never rent from uhaul again

My situation was a unique one. I rented the 10’ truck and about 30 minutes later found out I wouldn’t be able to move. I promptly returned the truck, having driven less than 15 miles, but none of the employees were willing to even listen to me about what had happened and that I had not used the truck to move. Ultimately, a little compassion would have gone a long way, even if no refund could be given. We were instead shrugged off and ignored, and I will not use this uhaul location again, even if a moving truck is required.

Customer service is always excellent......... but the wait times can be long sometimes....... it seems the computer system they have is slow, hence the longer wait times........ they always seem to be stocked with trucks, trailers and supplies, so no issues there......... I would rate this place 4-1/2 stars only because of the wait times......

Truck was “ 15” foot. Actually bed is only 13 plus the attic. Think it’s deceptive and could have been a serious problem of longest items were 15’. Lucky mine were only 13. Over all Really good customer service.

Its not easy being a Uhaul representative; there are many customer personality types, and people on the move, whether coming or going, are usually tired, in a hurry, or both. The staff at this location handles each customer (including me) with courtesy and respect, and they never make you feel like you're just another cow in the herd. I have a choice in Asheville when it comes to where I go when I need a trailer or truck, and you can bet I always head down to Swannanoa River Road. Uhaul is lucky to have them!

I had to wait in line for 45 minutes to Pick up a pre- rented furniture dolly. When I returned it I had to search for 12 minutes to find someone in the property who could help me return. I encourage you to evaluate your customer service approach. I will not return to this location and will recommend against this location if anyone asks for a recommendation.

the one staff i always saw was the most patient, kind, long suffering employee. The "climate controlled" unit was wet and 90 degrees. I could not get a refund. Very bad experience.

Consider leading within U-Haul Organization in providing “ reasonable Accomodations “ to legally SSA Disabled U-Haul users &/or accessibility in the disposal of Mattresses. $100 fee too high.

The staff was rude and not helpful. When asked if I could talk to the manager the gal replied “she she’s really busy”. The place is very inconvenient and the storage units are dark.

I went in to close my storage unit 1103 and the wait time was ridiculously long. There were only two people working with 9 people in line. I was not happy with that.
