Clean the floor in the back of the truck. It was filthy and it got my furniture really dirty. Only disappointment is that. I've used Uhaul there times and I have had this problem before.

The original 4x8 trailer was visibly old and not indicative of uhaul quality or safety. Safety walkthrough revealed blown tail and signal bulb. Replacement bulb was not installed tightly and the first bump would have had it jar loose. Only after pointing out this safety matter did the rep reluctantly provide a much newer trailer. It passed safety inspection and was a joy to haul behind my Jeep. Recommend uhaul take obviously old, marginal trailers out of long distance rental and reserve newer units for such journeys. Also, ensure that reps maintain customer centered behaviors and not marginalize or argue legitimate safety concerns. Thank you.

This location was great, very nice and great people, clean truck. Only issue is that when I drove off the truck had a bad bad bad pull to the left when you apply the brakes. Me being a mechanic , this was something I can just deal with, due to me really needing the truck to move. But would be very unsafe for the next driver. I told them that the truck needs to go to the shop and the man that was there was going to not let anyone drive until it was looked at. Best advice I can give, after all the inspection is done, someone should take the car for a spin and check on these things. Safety first , not last! Over all good company .

Trailer was returned 16:00 09/28 but was not cleared until the next day and I got a text wanting to know when I was going to return the equipment. Caused some concerns and 2 long phone calls before it was cleared. But I have used this facility many times and will again.

I made reservations for the truck 1 week ahead of time when I arrived they were not sure if they had a truck and told me it might be at another location but my verification was at this place. I reserved the truck for 12 hours 9am until 9pm and was told that I needed to bring the truck back by 7pm before they closed or I would be charged $20 more dollars . I’ve rented 4 times in a year from this location and was never told this until this time . He wasn’t friendly at all and after reserving the truck ahead of time was hoping to get in and out quickly but it still took 20 min to verify info and get the truck . I brought the truck back before they closed and the girl was very nice but I will be going else where to rent from now on the guy we started out with made it a bad experience. Customer service means a lot to me and first impressions.

I had to wait in the vehicle too long before an attendant came out to inspect the vehicle. Came close to pushing me into another day's rental. I did NOT receive a receipt. I was told he would e-mail me. I have NOT received it.

My experience here wasn’t terrible, however, the lack of communication between your U-Haul locations and customer service is very poor. I normally use the Cannon Self Storage location on Hwy 58. The truck that I always use needed repair and was sent to your East Ridge location for repair. There was not a replacement truck at Cannon Self storage for my reservation so I was asked to use the East Ridge location for pick up and return the truck to Cannon Self storage. The East Ridge office was not aware of that request and they sent the truck to Knoxville on a rental. They did have a truck to accommodate my reservation from their location but they would not allow me to return it to Cannon Self storage. Matt, at Cannon Self Storage allowed me to return it there and said he would work out the logistics to get it back to the East Ridge office and not charge me the additional mileage. I rent from U-Haul on a monthly basis from the Cannon location and Matt has always been extremely helpful and efficient. Though he is not a U-Haul employee, he exemplifies the Win/Win Customer Service attitude that I don’t get when I use a U-Haul Corporate location. To answer your question, What can we do to improve for the next customer? For the loyal customers, like myself who rent frequently, Be willing to move a truck to the customer’s preferred pick-up location, allow the customer to drop it at their preferred location if they have to pick up somewhere else because of availability, or give credit for the extra mileage incurred in having to go to another pick-up location.

Cab of truck was dirty. Waited over an hour to get truck as computers were down. Had reservation at another facility but location was closed when I arrived. Overall experience was not favorable.

The van that I rented smelled STRONGLY of cigarettes and there were dead roach bugs in the cup holders. Once I arrived to the location to pick up the items that we needed to transport, we found several live roaches crawling around.

would advise doing a walk around the truck to check for things that are there, before the truck leaves the lot. that way, I will not be accused of doing something I did not do to the truck.

i got charged a fee because the personel here incorrectly listed the wrong drop off location!! even after I corrected her 3 times! then was told I could drop off anywhere??? yeh right! Decatur location didn't think so and charged me a fee?? Not happy at all!!!

Very easy to work with. I was on the phone struggling with other services related to the move and they just worked around it and didn't complain or try to interrupt me. Truck worked great was able to check in and out with no problem.

The man there was not a people person at all. Never smiled or even wanted to talk. Made me feel uncomfortable also wanted to charge me 25 dollars to put a peace of wood in the trash
