There was some fiberglass insulation that fell from the ceiling in my unit. I notified staff 6 months ago, and nothing changed. Nothing was repaired. I had to empty my unit with it still hanging half way to the floor. My only other negative comment isn’t about the location directly regarding office hours per se, however, every time I called the facility, I reached the call center. Every time I requested a call back from the center (through the call center) I never received said call back. Every time I emailed management, not a single reply was attempted to contact me. I will say, every time I visit I am talked to like like I’m the most important client. The staff are always friendly and attentive. This location was extremely neat, clean well organized and staffed by people who seem to care about what they were doing. I had a wiring harness put on several weeks before the rental and I felt like I got a good price on the service and was very happy. Staff and driver from MD location (pick up) we're great. The CA location or whoever is supposed to didn't contact me to tell me my boxes would not arrive on scheduled date. I had paid people who sat around and eventually left. When I called uhaul they didn't know where boxes were. They arrived 2 days late. They said $50/back per day late. Almost 4 weeks later no $100 refund and I'm on the phone with someone now who isn't sure if they filed for refund or not. Very poor service, won't be using again.Robert D.

Online appointments are a joke. You give a choice of every half hour, but install takes a hour and a half. Total time waiting totaled over 4 hours. Center was over an hour from my home, so no choice to return later.Harris R.

The drivers were scheduled for days they did not come and came on days they were not scheduled. All in all it was a scheduling nightmare because there were a variety of unknowns. Notes were not kept in the system to allow follow thru on promises. I had to make a 7 hour drive twice to meet the truck delivery due to unknown delivery date. Overall it was extremely frustrating leading to us returning the last box instead of shipping it to the location we are moving to. I drove over 100 miles round trip to keep my appointment to have a hitch installed. I had my reservation confirmation e-mail, and arrived 30 minutes early. When I got there I was told that all hitch installation appointments had been cancelled due to the Air conditioning being out. I was told that my appointment had been moved to Thursday, July 28th. No one contacted me to let me know. What bothered me the most, is no one apologized. They just explained that it is not in their system. When I showed my confirmation e-mail, I was told that the representative did not care What was on my piece of paper. I was treated like it was tough luck, no apology, no addressing of the wrong that was done to me. They asked if I wanted to reschedule, I refused. I understand things happen, that is not why I refused to reschedule. I refused because of the cavalier way I was treated, with no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience and transportation cost of a 100 mile round trip, just to waste my time and money.Alex R.

It was not this location fault because the Mount Holly East New Market location was AWESOME!! I went on uhaul com site and booked a 26 truck got a confirmation number for Friday July 1st and I thought I was set. Showed up Friday @ 4 to find no truck anywhere. Highly disappointed!! Someone @ uhaul.com was supposed to call me but did not . The man in Chestertown @ A1 storage was great and helped me get hooked up with a 20ft truck in East New Market. Guys at both locations were great and very helpful. If it weren't for them. My move would have been ruined . Uhaul.com screwed up big time and missed the call!! As I have used this facilitymore than once I would defintely recommend it. The drop off at nught was tedious so, I don't recommend that. It was very cold & I had to walk across the lot to the truck to document cleanliness upon keaving the truck, mileage & fuel level with phitos. I am disabled & that was too much.DEBORAH W.

You can clearly see where the box was drooped. The box has dents and scrapes on the outside. We are waiting to hear from U Haul to be reimbursed. My u-boxes arrived late coming from CO. One of my boxes was severely damaged and the other one, the lock came off; no one informed me of these issues. It wasn't until I came to get things out of my box that I was informed of the damage. I also just recently picked up all my things and have noticed that a few items did not arrive even though they were loaded into the u-boxes in CO. I don't know what happened with the items that never arrived. Please be upfront with customers and also notify them of any late arrivals, changes, and damages to u-box containers.Alicia T.
