When I asked about the over night drop off and where to park the trailer, they failed to mention a $20 overnight drop-off service charges. For what reason would it cost me $20 for doing there job, not to mention a cleaning fee when I picked it up had debris already in the trailer?Timothy D.

Workers were not helpful leading you to an online check in on a Sunday. Get everything sorted the night before as the email does not work for finding the lock box for the keys. Gas tank was completely empty and didn't realize until I got onto the freeway and it was too difficult to turn around as the gas station was closer. We used it for 4 hours and total milage was less than 30 miles and it's cost $100. Crazy!!!!!!!!!Josh R.

Equipment (20' truck) should have been checked out before renting. Equipment failed after 50 miles. Me (83) and my dughter (60) were stranded on the side of a busy road for 7 hours. The total experience was a nightmare for us.Eleanor V.

I called to confirm the drop off time and they told me it was okay to drop it off any time that day since it's a 24 hr drop off and I wouldn't be charged. They charged me. I got the truck on E and they told me to bring it back on E . I did.. and they charged me . Over 100$ for stuff they reassured me I wouldn't be charged for. What i reserved wasnt what i was to pick up, once corrected it went to being incorrect by the time i picked it up. I was told to go way out of my way to this location then called 8 times in 2 hours with changes made. I reserved a car dolly they reserved us a hauler, i agreed to avoid more issues to arrive and be told its just a dolly again then once trying to check out it was reserved wrong and spent a h0ur waiting while the rep had to call in 3 times to help her fix reservation to pay and get on road. Worst experience ever and will do anything to avoid using uhaul again.Emma H.

The uhaul did a bait and switch on equipment availability by location. I thought I reserved at one location but the equipment was at another. The rate o. Pay attention to your reservations. I showed up at 5:30 AM and my truck share van wasn't ready so I had to call and reschedule a pick-up. Then I got a call while at work letting me know they overbooked the vans but I do appreciate the free truck upgrade option and I did end up getting the van I needed just need better organization.AeRianna H.

$150/month for a 5x10 space is ridiculous. Most storage facilities offer a discount the 1st month but not uhaul. I flew in from out of town to clear my mother’s apartment after she passed away; if I had more than 2days to move out I would have used someone else. I had a Crazy lady that would block my storage locker, all the time. In fact i think she lived there because she was always there like every time i would tryto get in my locker she was there day or night . She had a living area set up in her unit. she would yell and scream at me because she didn't want to move or i woke her up. I grab a 1 way 15" truck and auto transport trailer, looked clean, but as I stated driving to Vegas, truck had no transmission fluid,truck hesitation was on 100, we had to pull over multiple times. Speed wouldn't go over 55 on e way half the time. Mostly we did 30 to 40 miles all the way there. Had to drive in neutral most the night, I got to Vegas in 48hr instead of 26 hr.Transmission was slipping made crazy noise and the check engine light came on. Tried call roadside on hold for hr, each time I called it was 1he, so we cost the way to Vegas, i played over 2,800 dollars to go through this just was disaster. Three days after i put my items into storage and moved back to California your office girl calls me at 645 am saying i owe $300 for breaking in to my unit and destroying the door. I told her i obviously didn’t do that i just got the unit why would i do that. Her response “oh well all your stuff is gone”. I thought you guys have cameras but you can’t look at them unless i file a police report so i did that. Month later police officer calls me saying my unit wasn’t broken into and that i filed a false police report. I wasn't aware of the offer for free storage with a trailer rental. The Uhaul rep offered it when I told her our cul-de-sac could not accommodate the trailer. The storage space was a great solution. When I walked in I was told that my reservation with confirmation was just a request and that it did not mean I had a unit when I drove from Florida and arrived. The employee then corrected himself and told me the unit was available. I was provided with an access card that did not work and an access number that did not work as well. I currently have no way to access my unit. I was told the computer system was down but other customers were accessing the doors while I was loading my unit. The dock was filled with two 26’ trucks of household completely lining the dock making access impossible for over five hours. Then the people had there cars parked blocking any access to the dock as well. Upon asking the employees at your store to help, l was told to figure it out. Rude and short, leave them alone loud and clear. At 2:45 when l could finally get to the dock, l was again rudely told the dock was clear an hour after l left. Twice I was in the office and had to listen to an employee talking back to the manager. Just not something I want to see as a customer. Further, I had to move three time over the past two years. I used Uhaul storage and moving trucks for every move. I just had to pay $217 so that I could simply ensure that my storage unit was EMPTY so that I could cancel the contract because the date had moved past due. It was empty and I was trying to get a family member who still lived there to check it. I was a promoter of Uhaul service. But now I am a detractor.
