Maybe when the vehicle is handed over to the customer, the employee goes over some of the switches which are not standard on most people‘s vehicles. Also, the mirrors were very hard to adjust.

U-Haul employee Gary in Pittsburgh was great. We made a reservation an hour before we needed the enclosed 5 x 8 trailer. (we didn't realize our stuff wouldn't all fit in my pick up truck) We were in and out of the rental facility in 1/2 hour. Gary checked us in and hooked up the trailer for us. The drop off wasn't as smooth. The gun store we dropped it off at just said "hey unhook it and leave it where it is", "okay" I said no paperwork, "nope". The next day I was called by U-Haul corporate asking when we were going to drop it off. I guess there should have been some paperwork. Anyway for $109 total it was well worth the cost to travel 350 mile from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia.

I am very happy with my experience at UHaul on Rt. 8 in Glenshaw. Back in 2018, I moved suddenly to help my family and had to put most of my possessions into storage. Despite a lot of chaos and difficulties over the past 5 years, at least I never had to worry about my furniture and possessions. :) I do feel lucky to have selected this storage facility. The environment is well-kept/clean, the staff helpful, and I always felt comfortable and secure, even when by myself. My things were all in fine shape when I unpacked. Getting in and out as needed over the years was easy. I really appreciated the free dollies and how super-easy and reasonable it was to rent a van. I also really liked the neighborhood green "donation area," where I could easily leave a few things behind. Last but not least, a thank-you shout out to Hank who worked there the entire time I stored there; he was always helpful and friendly, and that was appreciated.

I was quite disappointed to have my account debited after I had closed my unit because the paperwork was not processed correctly when I closed my unit on October 30th and my account was debited on November 20th. I had to call and get the money refunded only to find out my unit was never closed out on the 30th of October as it was supposed to be when I was in the office and spoke directly with Hank.

The garage bays are not easily accessible as equipment is in the way for backing a trailer. Luckily my trailer was small. Any bigger and it might not have been possible to get into the garage.
