I was very happy with customer service from when I picked up the vehicle to when I returned it.
PAUL FWell organized and easy truck rental and return using phone and app. No waiting in line but staff very quick to help with the 1 question I had, very courteous. Recommended.

Mike WThis was one of the WORST experiences I had with u-haul and it was once my favorite location. Was… I’m about good, professional customer service. That it wasn’t with the exception of Robert G. Story: I reserved a caravan with a credit card. Once I arrived I wanted to used a different card. That card processed as a “debit” card. Due to that, I was told that I needed to put a hold of $100 on that card. That information is not specified on the website. AND IT SHOULD BE! Robert’s co-worker was very rude and nonchalant about my situation/conversation with Robert G. Robert G. explained “the policy”; however, like I said this should have been noted. Robert G. brought the moving truck up; however, I didn’t have a walk around. Got to my location to move, there wasn’t a ramp in the the truck. So, that made my moving very difficult and longer than what we had anticipated. I was not happy 😡 Poor customer service, no ramp…. I won’t be going back to that location!

MELODY BI specifically told whoever I spoke to when I called that I needed the 5x8 cargo trailer with the ramp door and I was guaranteed that it was available at this location but once again it was not. Then I returned the trailer about 3 hours late (due to weather conditions) and was charged for an entire extra day. Which I thought was BS because of the whole being lied to thing.

MANISH DDecrease the price of mileage if possible and double down on out of town prices but good service, I will always used and recommend U-HAUL for moving purposes.

Mitchell vThe service was absolutely fantastic in regard to personnel serving on site. I had a most difficult time making my reservatiin due to a computer glitch that knocked me out of online check in. Every time I inserted my license picture it went to a cart is empty message. Finally spoke to someone by phone that indicated I reserved three trucks for the same time period. NOT RIGHT. I kept trying to online check in and got multiple reserves instead needs to be fixed.

SHAWNA MThe location itself is great. The local central equipment dispatch team you have are the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever met. They constantly argued with us and were upset that we rented so many units. If I am not mistaken, I would think Uhaul would be ecstatic about someone renting multiple units for many days. That is exactly what you are in business to do. I will not be doing Business with Uhaul going forward specifically because of them. The location was great, your central local operations team is horrible.
CAMERON JWe dropped off when no one was there so can not taste that, but we did get charged an extra day for the tow trailer and uhaul when we dropped it off a day early. Called and charges are being reversed, that was a very friendly interaction.
LANG STurning the truck back in took too long especially when there are 3 or 4 ahead of you you to also turn in the truck they rented.

MARGARITA MI booked this Uhaul through Chips Auto in Hamlin, as it was advertised. Got a call saying cant pick up their had to go to Long Pond. Then they did not let us return the truck to Chips Auto and we had to go back to Long Pond and pay that extra mileage. Our new home is in Hamlin, where Chips is located. Could have saved us time and money . False advertising!

FREDERICK SThe electric door could use some work. It malfunctions often, with it not being able to close all the way, leaving a gap between the door and the ground. However, my biggest complaint would be that the designated customer parking spots in front of the storage units' portion of the building are constantly filled with trucks and/or trailers, including the designated spot directly in front of the door. It is very inconvenient when trying to load or unload items and the renter has to park someplace in the lot. If you are going to advertise and have signs for designated parking for the storage units, they should be kept available for use by the renters.
