GUADALUPE SYour app needs work. It's supposed to be faster and more convenient but it's such a pain. It closes you out and you can't go back in to finish the process but tells you you're ready to go

HECTOR MTruck had visible damage to the side, causing part of it to jut out a few inches. This damage had me worried I was gonna to get charged for damage already done to the vehicle prior to me renting it. Staff was nice and understanding. Pulling into and driving out of this location can be very sketchy with how little room you get to maneuver the truck, you have to wait for no traffic in both lanes as when you pull out you have to steer into the opposite inside lane to avoid hitting the curb. Upon drop off of vehicle there was barely any room to park the truck in the designated area as three other trucks took up all the space. I had to flag down a stranger and have them help guide me into parking in a space that was barely wide enough, I had one truck three inches to my left and a trailer less than a foot to my right.
COLE MMy storage unit along with several others were broken into and I was never notified until I came to get holiday bins and found my lock broken on the door and another lock on it that I could not get into. Went to the office and was told what happen. Upon getting into my storage, found my computer hard drive was stolen with my kids baby pictures and despite calling police, filing a report, and paying for insurance my entire rental contract, I never received anything from the incident. Was told several times that my door lock would be replaced with a more secure lock but that never happened. The property was always dirty and I’ve gotten nails in my tires that needed replaced. But 24 access and friendly staff was the only pros this location offered. I won’t be back or recommend.

DARIUS HThey never have enough employees working, I was charged $266 for a dolly that I returned before my scheduled drop time, then when I called to get an explanation of the charged the old lady was very rude about how her systems were down and gave me no assistance on how to resolve the issue she could have given me corporates number but no I was told I would have to wait smh just horrible experience

Dustin H | Online Move InThe people were sweet and kind But upon receiving my Uhaul It was not clean. Hadn’t been clean for a while. The air conditioning does not work. And the engine ran hard the whole time. Which cause the Uhaul to guzzle up the gas. Spend an extra just to move.

FRANCIS SUpon entering the facility we were greeted by Myra a wonderful lady with an amazing attitude. She was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The facility was clean and tidy. After our use of the vehicle we returned the vehicle with more than enough gas and Sybil was helping in the return. The only down side was they didn't have enough change in there till. Over all it was a experience.. Thank you Uhaul for accommodating our need..

U-Haul sent me to another location on Broadway and Edmond. Nobody was there. Sent me back to the original location. And then finally to the location where I picked up the truck. I wasted over two hours of time. During which I had Movers waiting for me, which cost me more money. I am beyond upset with U-Haul, and I am expecting a fair reimbursement.
LINDSAY LEmployees that hook up the trailers to your customers vehicles should keep their mouth shut about politics and their views on politics. Bad mouthing economics without knowing anything about economics makes them look extremely ignorant. Myra at the front desk was extremely helpful and did her job quickly and efficiently. Won’t be back to that location.

BRENDA PSat in the parking lot for over 15 minutes waiting for an attendant to unhook. Unloading lane was backed up and blocked by trucks waiting to be dropped off or to take off. The inside people were even less friendly and helpful!

STEVEN HThe staff was great, I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the lady who checked me in or the man who hooked up the trailer. But they were both very helpful. My only complaint is that the trailer that was hooked up to my vehicle was NOT the trailer that was listed on my rental agreement. However I didn't know to confirm that the correct trailer was being hooked up. This was not a problem until it came time for me to return the trailer in Savannah GA. I was charged an extra day even though I returned the trailer a day earlier than the end of my contract. Sorting out the discrepancy between the equipment I had used for 4 days and the equipment that was in the U-Haul database was very frustrating. The location I returned the trailer to was almost no help at all and I ended up solving the problem myself. It was another employee at the Hefner location that was able to close the rental and get my extra charges refunded. Outside of the frustration of the wrong equipment being given to me the staff were very nice, they just missed a pretty big detail.
BARTON WThis location is not suitable for trucks with trailers. You cannot pull into the parking lot for return without jack-kniving the trailer and pushing the trailer backwards into traffic.

Gary D | First ImpressionsI would not recommend this site, nor any U-Haul, for the following: I was not notified of rate increases until it was time to bill me (not giving me enough opportunity to choose a different facility) I was not told that there would be an increase of any kind, there should not be additional insurance needed to protect the items that are locked in storage because the facility had a mildew problem, did not disclose that ! There was mold, discovered toward the back of the unit on coming through the concrete floor. It damaged my queen, size mattresses, and multiple contents inside the boxes that were appropriately secured and taped tight. The very purpose of the storage is to protect the items! Lastly, the manager knew of the situation because when she was notified by me of the hole in the ceiling upon the entry of the storage unit, she immediately had it fixed because she knew there was an issue!!!

The one in your Shreveport, Louisiana branch were rude,nasty and unwilling to help. When a person needs help and seek out a storage facility, the there's major change in their lives. Even the people at you head quarters couldn't resolve the issue of fraudulent activities associated with my driver license. They just except the information given them. I've never rented a Van,truck or car from U Haul,however they allowed charges to be put in my name. So I have referred family to other facility. But my latest experience has been good.
