It was completely ridiculous and a major inconvenience that there was no backup plan/paper system with the system being down on 4/18/21. I had family drive 4 hours to help me and it put us in a bind. This makes me not want to use uhaul in the future and definitely would not recommend uhaul!

Provide a friendlier staff member. She was extremely rude and very short at pick up and return. At pick up she handed me the key and said "your truck is outside" she did not do a walk around which is supposed to happen. The paperwork said the tank was full and it was not. I drove 29 miles and the truck help $30 in gas. That shows there is no way the truck was on full. But since there was no walk around at pick up i have no way to prove it. At return the sign on the canopy says to remain in vehicle for inspection. The same female came out said are you returning. I responded "yes" she said did you pay with a card? I said "yes" she said just leave i will get it later. I have a problem with this because once again if she had charged me with any damage. I was already gone and no way to defend the charges. I was very disappointed in the customer service at this location!

She informed me she already checked me in and no one had even che kes the truck or had the key back in their possession. She's beyond rude and you cant put everyone everywhere. She is not managing material by far. You should rethink her position and there were more customer complaints that day than mine.

Joel F.Original pick up location was on Airways Blvd in Jackson, TN. Had scheduled for in person rental and fully expected a LIVE person to assist in rental as in past (except with masks). Rather, unpleasantly surprised, with locked door and a phone number AND no prepared Truck. In end, central dispatch, did refer me to another location. In mx, I lost about an hour or two of moving time and a very unfavorable impression of U-Haul, since the pick-up is the face of the company. Someone needs to look at the process at this location and fix it. I will use you again as last resort, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth.

John P.I don't know whose fault this was really but I was sent to three different locations until I finally got a truck that was extremely big and I requested a small truck. I was reimbursed for my trouble but then they charged me for gas and I had to get reimbursed for that as well because thankfully I took a picture of the gas hand in the parking lot before I left with the truck.

I was close to the time required to return the equipment so this caused added stress to using an app I had never used.

Robin P.More staff. I arrived well after opening time and found no one inside the location. We waited about 20 minutes before the ONLY employee came inside after helping someone else. No one answering the phone which was ringing constantly, no one watching the store's inventory or computers, no one helping us nor the 2 guests who came in while we were still waiting to even be acknowledged.

When I went to pick up vans they were not available and they could put me in two 10' trucks. My wife would not drive the truck so I chose a larger truck , promised the same rate as the vans ! Just got my charge and was charged regular rate, no modification for the mess up!

They also added a late fee of $20 which should not have been charged as they had our info on file and auto drafted this charge so it was not our fault they overdrafted it late. The manager was rude and would not refund my husband even the late fee they charged. We will not use the storage facility at this location again in the future and will not recommend it to friends because of the poor customer service.
