Original pick up location was on Airways Blvd in Jackson, TN. Had scheduled for in person rental and fully expected a LIVE person to assist in rental as in past (except with masks). Rather, unpleasantly surprised, with locked door and a phone number AND no prepared Truck. In end, central dispatch, did refer me to another location. In mx, I lost about an hour or two of moving time and a very unfavorable impression of U-Haul, since the pick-up is the face of the company. Someone needs to look at the process at this location and fix it. I will use you again as last resort, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth.PENN J.

I don't know whose fault this was really but I was sent to three different locations until I finally got a truck that was extremely big and I requested a small truck. I was reimbursed for my trouble but then they charged me for gas and I had to get reimbursed for that as well because thankfully I took a picture of the gas hand in the parking lot before I left with the truck.Angela M.

More staff. I arrived well after opening time and found no one inside the location. We waited about 20 minutes before the ONLY employee came inside after helping someone else. No one answering the phone which was ringing constantly, no one watching the store's inventory or computers, no one helping us nor the 2 guests who came in while we were still waiting to even be acknowledged.Nathan G.

Vans booked two weeks out. Representative called to say that vans were available but at two different locations. When I went to pick up vans they were not available and they could put me in two 10' trucks. My wife would not drive the truck so I chose a larger truck , promised the same rate as the vans ! Just got my charge and was charged regular rate, no modification for the mess up!James F.

The is a disconnect between the customer's view of the Uhaul site and Uhaul's view. There was an incident where my moving plans were competed different from the Uhaul employee's plans, and it made the move very stressful and tiresome.Susan J.

The employee was amazing and understanding of the situation, and willing to help out anyway she could. She even said the people from Uhaul in Pittsburgh Ave In Erie were very rude after talking to them. She had stated they didn't even give me the full coverage they had said I paid for and that it was only limited coverage, after I verified with them multiple times it was indeed full coverage. She also said the people in Erie should have never rented me the trailer as the trailer hitch was unstable and rusty, and the vehicle wasn't capable of towing the 6 by 12 trailer. She also stated that they had charged me for in town rates not out of state rates, so I was overcharged. They were very friendly and well mannered at this location, and I appreciate all they did for me.Megan T.
no problems picking up ,but dropping off. sign says park here with equipment and a u haul person will come out after 15 minutes no one came out , so went in 2 people in there sitting down both working with other people who showed up after me and went right in. so finally got paper work done. they said to drop it off down back drove down back and no one came to help me, I'm 68 years old Vietnam wounded veteran and no one helped me took me 30 mins to get the trailer unhooked, trailer was 6 x 12 enclosed and no crank to raise it, never will go there again.Dennis G.

Associates don't explain clearly of how procedures work and then really frustrated and she was getting aggravated find me asking questions about how the service is workHenry K.
I don't think the space is long enough for me to write how unhappy I am with this location. They never answer the phone, one of my boxes arrived with two forklift holes in them causing dishes to be broken because of that. I reported in a dispute my unhappiness with this location and all I got was a phone call from the manager of this location who I had already explained my frustration to and I've tried to call her back several times and it keeps going to voicemail. One of the times when she loaded one of the you boxes she loaded it backwards The moving helper and I believe it was on purpose. my you boxes were supposed to be delivered all together and they were delivered one by one causing my workers to have to work a day and a half in order to load all of my furniture and boxes. I will never ever use U-Haul again or you boxes or you box labor. And I will do everything I can to prevent anyone else from this horrible experience that I have had. The only bright side of this was Eunice at the U-Box location in Alcoa Tennessee.Linda D.

This experience was a nightmare and I definitely do not recommend anyone to go through what I did. My stuff was delayed 3x and 2 weeks! Nobody could tell me anything except call 800-GOUHAUL which just meant sitting on hold for a half hour or more for nothing! When my UBox finally did arrive nobody even called me. When I picked it up, the guy who hook the trailer up didn't even out the tongue down on the ball it was sitting on top of it which luckily the jack was only raised up 2" so it drug the ground on the way out of the lot of the first bump we hit would have caused a big accident! Also the lights weren't plugged in! I left there in rush hour traffic so that should give you an idea if how bad that deal could have been had I not stopped to find out what made the noice when I pulled out of the lot! We cleaned out the storage unit before the beginning of the next month and Was still charged for an whole months rent that we did not use. They also added a late fee of $20 which should not have been charged as they had our info on file and auto drafted this charge so it was not our fault they overdrafted it late. The manager was rude and would not refund my husband even the late fee they charged. We will not use the storage facility at this location again in the future and will not recommend it to friends because of the poor customer service.lashon h. | Overall Experience
