I was told 24.99 a day when I retuned it and was charged a lot more I retuned it and was charged 2999 per day. I was also over charged more . They then called to correct it but didn't correct the correct amount I didn't notice till I checked my bank account and the amount was wrong! I don't no now who to call! now I just hope it will be resolved!

i had 4 locations on my sheet where i could turn in the uhaul. upon arrival on wadsworth blvd in colorado 20 minutes before closing the rep said i had to go 40 minutes away to aurora, co. He was very rude, which overall causes me delays in turning the uhaul in the next day.. i was very angry and displeased with my experience. wish i had more time to reveal the entire experience with this rep.

5 car trailers were on the lot and the customer service person said "We are not supposed to rent them out for round trip usage" So I went home, completed the online Uhaul form and drove back 20 minutes later with my order confirmation. The two employees should have a serious talking to, unless of course not making money on rental equipment is your plan...in which case they are doing a great job of sitting on their ass.

My trailer light had a left taillight that was an LED model that was barely visible and made letting other drivers on the road be aware of changing lanes or making a turn challenging because of its lack of visibility.

All signage on the lot indicates to pull forward towards the building for equipment return. After pulling in, the staff member requested I back the truck and tow dolley into another lot. This goes against U-Hauls advice to not back up a tow dolley. The staff said I personally had to back up the tow dolley before they would accept liability as "backing up a tow dolley is more difficult and may lead to damage."

Currently, the access street (Wadsworth Boulevard) is under construction, so the only way to get into the parking lot is from the south. Store operators are making the best of a difficult situation. I accidentally snapped the zip-tie holding the two-wheeled dolly, even though I had no intention of using the device. I think you should consider making the dolly and blanket packages optional for the customer, rather than putting them in the way at the back of the truck.

The website could use work to explain what each box regarding the reservation means. While at the location they were telling me to checkin via website. Customer service at the counter is most valuable, especially if the website is not adequate. Equipment was fine. Trucks with Ramos should include a dollie as part of rental equipment for $5-$10 more. Make it a rental option to support your customers! Thank you!

Customer service was pretty terrible at the location. While the rental process was fine, the lady at the front was very uncooperative when I came to return. Even though the location was open, she refused to allow me to complete the return process and insisted that I use the online application. When I went to use the online app, the option to complete the return process was not available. I will not be using this location again.

Very professional and knowledgeable employees, clean vehicle, great experience. My only suggestion would be regarding the placement of packing boxes. When I entered the facility I had to walk half the length of the store to get around the packing boxes to get back to the counter. That is, there wasn't a direct path from the door to the counter.

This experience sucked. I selected a preferred location with the understanding that it could change when they called me 24 hours before the rental. 24 hours prior came and went. In fact, two hours before the rental time, I finally received a phone call from Uhaul telling me that my preferred location did not have the trailer I needed. They sent me to another location about 20 minutes farther away (with traffic).' I called that location to confirm they had the trailer and asked them if I could pick it up an hour early. Had I received the phone confirmation more than two hours prior, I would have been able to make arrangements to pick it up as scheduled. Anyway, the location said no problem. So, I headed that way with my two screaming children expecting to grab this trailer and get them home for dinner. When I got there, I was told that "someone should have called you". Apparently, that trailer was broken, and I needed to go to another location 15 minutes farther away (with traffic). Of course nobody called me to tell me this, just like nobody called the day before. Again, anyway, I loaded up the kids and proceeded to drive now, in total, 30 minutes (one way) farther than my original preferred location. When I got to this third location, the computer system was broken, and they couldn't check out the trailer. The woman who helped me was very apologetic and nice, but this was incredibly frustrating which was only made worse by the fact that my poor children were tired and hungry. Anyway, not likely to rent again. I hope it was convenient for you. I certainly wasn't a customer first experience for me.

Nothing really. There was no wait time at either pick up or drop off. The internet reservation process was really easy. Staff was very helpful. The pick up location was very close to my home. As I drove less than anticipated, my total was the same, less than anticipated, which was a nice bonus.

It was extremely too expensive ! Also I don't get why you charge mileage when I have to return the gas tank to the starting level In addition to the false advertising of 29.99 for an in town move but then fees add up to 50 extra dollars. Felt like I got scammed. I will not be returning .

AND, that's after I was the first person in line on a Sunday morning. I will never rent from this location again. Tell your staff to wake up and do their job!

So I made the long drive from Canyon County to Lakewood and came in about 100 miles less than I what I paid for. I called the location before I turned in the truck and asked the woman working if in those situations they give you money back... because if you go over... they charge you. The woman was rude and had a nasty attitude. When I arrived Friday morning the 7th of July. I got to meet the nasty woman that I talked with. As I arrived... I noticed that a previous driver had left a set of keys under the seat. Some of them looked like they could be very important. I got out of the truck and went to talk with the woman who was working to give her the keys in hopes that she would return them to their rightful owner. Her response was "Papers". Before she could discuss anything with me... she had to see the papers. I showed her the papers and then proceeded about the keys and how someone might be in search of them. This did not concern the woman at all. The only thing that concerned her was telling me to move out of the way so that she could park the Uhaul. It was one of the most disrespectful moments of my life. I shared with her that her actions were rude and wrong on so many accounts. I left that location furious. I am familiar with that area and it's a little rough... maybe some of that neighbor energy has taken a toll on her. But that's no way to act and run a buissnes. I'm currently at a loss of how I should feel about this whole experience. I invested a good amount of my savings in order to start a new life and now I have the headache of what am I to do about the things left in storage. I should have been able to finish my contract with storage by getting all of my things out. Alright... now you have read my situation... what do you think is the respectable thing to do moving forward.

I called ahead and scheduled a trailer pickup for Saturday July 15th at 10am. It was booked and confirmed with an employee online. the morning of July 15th I did the pre-check in to save time. When I got to the store to pickup the trailer there was NO trailer there. The employee's were less than helpful. They simply said. "I do not know what happened, we do not have a trailer here". Zero customer service. I then had to call back in to Uhaul and adjust my moving plans to book a new trailer pickup for the 16th at 1pm. I then had to pay full price on Sunday. I was offered no discount due to the error.

Equipment was old and a little shaky, but everything functioned well enough to get the job done. I was able to load it and take it on the highway without issue. The evening before my rental, they told me that another person had extended the rental and so the 17' truck I reserved was not available. They offered me a smaller truck (15') and a different time frame, which would've been tough to make. When I called that morning, they let me know that they had another 15' truck which was available in the original time frame I had asked for. Plus, they honored the $50 credit for my reservation not being available. So, it all worked out, but a last minute reservation change could've been problematic had the situation been a little different.

This is a difficult location to get to due to continuous construction by the city. Due to this, in part, I opted to rent using a facility closer to my departure/destination. I rented a van only to have my rental location moved to a location further away (at MY cost due to mileage differences). When I arrived at the 'new more costly, less convenient location to pick up my van I was advised a van was not available (WHAT THE.. ) and that I could take a box truck instead. Neither my wishes (the van), my comfort, nor my finances (increased costs due to extra mileage, I didnt need or want a box truck - hence why I rented a van or gas due to the weight of the box truck) were taken into consideration. The general manager, Amanda, kept trying to convince me the box truck was fine and ready to go, giving NO credence to my dissatisfaction. While Amanda had a professional demeanor, she lacks a concern for customer satisfaction by outright refusing to waive/refund my extra mileage fees due to her company's decision to move my rental pick up location AND then not providing what I had ordered. Maddening! Finally, my second estimated cost was exceeded by extraneous fees. This was a terrible customer experience!

Not be the least competent place on earth. Your employees were actually nice but the equipment sucked. In the middle of Kansas, the breaks went out, blew a tire, started a grass fire and we had to delay while all of this get fixed at a fantastic place. Still sucked as I spent over $1000.00 on UHaul screw ups on this trip.

Rented a truck that was late being returned. Being in a hurry to get the truck ready for me they forgot to put an appliance dolly in the truck. I called when I noticed that the dolly wasn't in the truck and let them know that it was missing they told me that they would note it on the contract. After returning the truck I checked my bank account a couple days later I was charged for replacing the dolly I never received. Still waiting for Uhaul corporate to fix their mistake

I have used this location before to pick up Equiptment and they are so professional/just real stand up guys to deal with! I gladly say Use this UHaul Location~YOU will never be disappointed! Also~ Dispatch for Uhaul is Fabulous they Bend over backwards to let you use your fav location as well as drop off , change pick up days~ extend days, Change routes ! I appreciated all they did for us!

Clean out the trailers before the next customer and check them on the highway for worthiness. The trailer I had could not handle being empty and going the rated speed. It would shake and shimmy. When loaded near max and properly it would occasionally do the same thing. After driving trailer for 30+ years this is the worst experience I have seen.

The pick up location was great. The guys were a big help getting me on the road. Using the online service to reserve the trailer was a challenge. The location I selected did not have trailers (this was not stated online) I was not given a new location and had to go through three different people by phone to get the correct location. It would be more convenient if the Uhaul website only offered pick up sites that have the correct equipment needed.

Great people, road construction makes it a little tough currently 5/17... when is it ever going to end? If you can get past the road construction and actually in to the facility it is a great experience.

Horrible customer service! Very disappointed with the manager. She says that she had cleaned the truck when she clearly did not. There was black oil all over and I ended up having to clean it up myself. Also, they put me at a different location without me being aware of it. Not happy at all!

First time renting here. The location was great, and the truck was sparkling clean inside. Cleanliness was super important to us, and this location far exceeds what we have experienced at other locations (in terms of cleanliness). Friendly, helpful staff, and quick service at the counter. Zero complaints. Would definitely rent from them again.

The only issue I had was that the truck I rented only had a quarter tank of gas. And was informed that I needed to return it with that much gas, which I get, but seriously? 7 gallons of gas is all that is provided? I do not feel that it is very appropriate to provide a moving truck with 7 gallons of gas. Seems a little like U-Haul is trying to get their customers to pay more out of pocket just to get some extra gallons of gas.

Full disclosure, don't wait till someone turns in the vehicle that they have to pay 30 dollars if below a certain part of a tank. Instead of saying it will be 3.89 per gallon.

I paid for my rental up front and was told I owed an extra 105$ when I returned it even though I had to drive two hours out of my way just to pick it up all due to my reservation being given away.

Amanda's customer service was pretty poor. There was a problem with my quick check in at the time I arrived, the computer switched it from the $14 protection plan to the $28 and when I brought it to her attention she said, "Well, you must have chose the wrong one and you will have to choose the right one now." I then showed her my paperwork showing that I had chosen the correct option and very abruptly she said, "Well it was changed!" I understand glitches and computer system malfunctions but.... she should not have been blaming the customer for this. Although, the next day she was much nicer, it may have been that she was having a bad day. Personally, as a customer, I feel like you should never been able to tell if a customer service rep is having a better or bad day. Overall, the experience was fine but her attitude on Friday put a bad taste in my mouth.

It would be nice if there were at least one 20' truck in the inventory. My understanding is the store 'got rid of' their only 20' truck a couple weeks back. The only available trucks were 17' or 24'. I didn't want to travel 5 miles to another U-Haul store and 24' was too big (I used that size last year and found it too big for our parking) so I took the smaller truck and incurred more mileage.

Even though the office was very busy and there was only one person helping a long line of people, the young girl at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I drove a brand new truck however the tires were bald. I had to drive West over Eisenhower and Vail Pass so I'm glad I had good weather. I highly recommend this office. Thank you!

The young lady who runs this U-haul office is friendly, efficient, very professional, and has a quick mind. I arrived 20 minutes late, to find a line that I thought would be slow, but they served us all very quickly and thoroughly. My brake/turn light 4-pin connector was ruined from age, so they sold me an adapter for the larger connector and I was on the road in no time. Thank you!

I was in a pinch when my sons truck stopped running. I did not want to pay the high cost of getting it towed. I went to this location just to get information about towing it myself. The general manager Amanda and two other gals Anastasia and Jeneffa(?) were all around wonderful. I was nervous about towing because I had never done it before. These ladies assured me that I could do it. They explained how to drive onto the trailer several times and answerd all my questions. These girls were a hoot to work with, very enjoyable and they took pride in their jobs. I was at ease driving away with The trailer after all their help. When I returned it was 6:20 am and Amanda had pulled into the store right Behind me. Before going into the store she backed up the trailer for me! And unhooked it and had me on my way. I was so impressed how these ladies handled themselves. Amanda had a kickass team of women. I will definitely come back to this location for anything else I need. Thank you again ladies. Don Evans.

Not entirely their fault, but construction on Wadsworth made it hard to access. The truck wasn't ready to pick up when we arrived and the store only had one employee doing everything, leaving the desk unmanned, and tasks slow to be completed. The cost was way beyond the $39 quoted to me on the phone. Will likely use a different service next time.

This is one of the best Uhaul stores in metro Denver. I prefer to come to this store, in spite of all the horrible road construction going on right at the edge of the store. U-Haul should allow individual stores to make price concessions for bad service received- 1. a truck that was really noisy & sounded as if it may have needed transmission work; 2. the drop-off point was incorrect, not as on my previous contract that should have been found in service records and made the same; it was very inconvenient & the next day the 'assigned place' called me to say "take it to the larger U-Haul because we have no space"; 3. there was 1/2 a tank of gas extra in the tank that was a ~$30 gain for U-Haul, after all the trouble we'd had, it would have been very nice to get some credit for it. I know the contract specifies to leave it at the level taken away with but in extreme cases such as this with the all-around bad service, employees should show some 'good will' and try to make customers a bit happier. And to make it an easier 'match' for returning a truck, why aren't all tanks on full when leaving the departure store?!?

I hate the online booking system uhaul has. A number of times I have booked at one location and later found out I was transferred to another location. I did receive your followup emails, but missed I had been reassigned. You probably need big bold letters in emails and texts that clearly ALERT and WARN people that where they thought they booked HAS BEEN CHANGED@!@!!!!!!!

The truck smelled of smoke and the inside of the windshield was so dirty (and was not like you could simply wipe it off - maybe with windex or something - which of course I didn't have) that driving at night was quite dangerous. The seats and the cup holders were not cleaned prior to me picking up the truck. CLEAN THE TRUCKS!

The first vehicle I was offered smelled so badly of pot I couldn't breathe, I got a different truck and it smelled of cigarettes. I have used this location many times over the years and have been very pleased however NOT this time. The woman who helped me (Amanda Evans) was not pleasant at all in fact I felt she was rather rude. When we were doing the contract I said I would like to take an extra bag maybe two of pads when she told me the ones in the truck are included in the rental and the others are not charged if we don't use them. Accordingly, I decided to take two bags of extra pads as a precaution since I was moving a lot of antique furniture. Since I had a lot of my own padding materials we ended up not need the extra pads we only used my stuff and the five in the truck. Upon my return she was once again very curt and unfriendly and when she charged me for ten (10) pads I explained we only used the five included in the truck rental the others are still in the sealed plastic bags. She now tells me she has to charge me because they left the lot, I explained on a couple times that she had told me there was NO charge if we didn't use them she didn't care about that at all. I was very angry and frustrated because I had been lied to and had just had my money stolen. I have decided to stop payment on my credit card unless the ten dollars ($ 10) is credited back to me. I deliberately told my work not to use the extra pads unless we absolutely had to , to use all my padding materials first. Then to get lied to and charged anyway is just NOT RIGHT. I know that I was cheated out of mileage! I've used this location many times, but after this I won't!! I went 6 blocks 5 times! That includes taking it from and too the rental. 12 city blocks is a mile. So how you got over 18 miles is insane!! I went 5 or 6 at the most! I did an express rental for a trailer in Golden on Friday night. On Saturday morning (7:30AM), an email was sent by uHaul indicating my rental was now in Lakewood. My bad...I didn't check my email BEFORE I drove to Golden to pick up the trailer. The Lakewood location was out of my way and inconvenient, but the manager at the store was very professional and efficient, so I can't complain about the Lakewood location. Not too happy with uHaul, however.

The pick up was fine. The truck itself had one of the side mirrors that moved position during driving, making it hard to see the road properly. This was reported on return. We were not able to go back with it after pick up as we had to complete our move that same day. The return of the truck was horrendous, the system was down for processing payments and we stood in line to return the truck for 15 minutes before anyone spoke up to tell customers they were having problems. I spoke up and told a staff member we were returning not picking up and could we please be checked in before the time expired for our return. The process of checking in the truck was simple although when the staff member tried to complete the return and the card I used was declined, as was everyone else's that morning, he made me feel like it was my fault not the fact that YOUR system was having issues! I had to call twice and come back to the location later that day to complete the process which was very inconvenient. Will not use this location again and will likely use a different company if I ever need to rent a truck again.

The trailer did not have any way to lock the connector part, which made me nervous leaving it overnight. You should include one.
