Zachary was very helpful , you could tell he cares about his job , although I rent from Uhaul all the time this friendly young man went above a beyond to explain safety , sweep out the trailer and be friendly .I have used Uhaul in many States and Zachary by far provided the best service I have received. Nice to see a person , who takes pride in their job . Thank you

Employee also rude and was not present for the first 10 minutes I arrived and was walking around an empty store looking for help. Was told to drop off my keys and paperwork because he was busy with a customer already and then he glanced and noticed it wasn’t the proper location (which is blank on my contract) told me to check my email ( employee at Bennett location entered @yhaoo.com) wrong email. Then told me I would be charged double if I left. Had already put gas in the truck and had to drive across town to a different location. Not worth the 150 I spent to have 0 customer service.

One of the staff members I heard say multiple profanities about another customer in front of me and mentioned how "he doesn't get paid enough for this". I must add that the other three employees I came into contact were helpful and polite. Additional, I left believing my moving blankets were in the back of the truck but they weren't so I had to drive 20 minutes back to get them.

Maybe the possibility of hourly rental as we truly only used it for less than an hour. Although the pricing was still overall reasonable

The website and process is absolutely annoying, took 6 times of the website shutting down after I put in EVERYTHING wasting so much of time. The car was clean and drove smoothly so I'll give you that but even when i went to go drop it off the site error messages me three times before working after I took like 10 pictures running around in the snow. So inconvenient. Also the fees, like there's no major notifications that you return the truck with the same amount of gas and it charges you for that or you have to leave and come back and I'm sure you'll get a late fee for it being late. My "$20" as advertised turned into over $100. And I go to call customer service and it takes 20 minutes to answer the call. I'm massively reluctant to ever use your service again, and honestly wish other people knew how bad my experience was so they don't stuck with the same problems. Please fix your website if youre going to run things via mobile, and make sure you have more customer service representatives. Getting movers next time, cost the same damn amount and I won't have to do the work.

Provide communication devices to the attendants (who were very helpful), so they are able to communicate with some one coming into the store when the attendants are out in the yard(s) helping other customers.

I had a very good experience at this location and with the van I rented. My only suggestion would be to walk around the vehicle with the customer before the customer drives off. In my case, I noted damage on the van after I left and I was concerned I would be held responsible for it. It turned out to be damage the staff knew about, so I was fine, but a walk around the vehicle would have prevented any such concern.

Explain the automatic gears as they are non-intuitive to a car driver. Took me an age to realise you have to turn the key halfway, come out of park into neutral, & then start the engine. And I was cut off TWICE when I tried to call in to get help about it.

I picked up the 20 ft truck on Thursday Dec 19 about 3pm in Box Elder, SD, and received a text stating it would be due in Lakewood, CO on Sun Dec 22 at 3pm. Then I got a call and a new text stating it is due back on December 21 at 7am becsuse someone else needed the truck. I delivered it at the revised time with only 2 hours sleep. I do not mind helping others, but I do have a problem with being told my due date has changed instead of being asked if I would be willing to return the truck a day early. I did not receive a request, but a demand. That is not a good way to run a business. Signed, Gary Fittro

Give you customer an upfront fee. My total changed three times. First started off at $30. Got to store it jumped to $43. After I returned the rental it jumped to $63. Plus gas tank was lower than what the uhaul employee said it was. I still left the gas tank with extra gas. So actually I paid $73. After all said & done. $73 for two hours. One stop. To pick up one table. $30--->$73? Wow! Whats next UHAUL gonna start chargin for the air in the tires??

The vehicle was average condition. I opened the door to an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. I had to drive with the window open to dissipate the obnoxious odor. Upon return I let the representative know how displeased I was. His response was,”you get what you get.” Wow, just wow. I then asked for a paper receipt. He said there printer wasn’t working. Just hours earlier I received paper print out during check in. I felt he didn’t want to help or feel like walking to get it. 1 Star of 5 Stars.

This was a really bad experience. I was given the UHaul with about a quarter tank of gas. The check engine light was on and when I returned the vehicle there was less than a quarter tank of gas. I was told I would be charged a fee for not filling up the tank and also for being below a quarter tank. I think overall it was $50-$60 as an extra taking everything into consideration. I said I would take the vehicle to fill it up with gas so I wasn’t charged and I was told I couldn’t because the check engine light was on. Therefore I was charged a fee because I was given an almost empty tank and given a subpar maintained vehicle. I’m not sure why I should pay for that.

They let me leave with a trailer with a marker light out. I’m lucky I never got a ticket. When I complained I was told it was working before I left. Liars and lazy employees.

the female employees were vibrant and engaging with us both when renting and when returning in contrast with the male staff at the desk; who on returning, was slow to greet and totally mechanical in their interaction with us. we were glad the female staff was in the yard to make the check back in pleasant.

The staff was helpful, but not overly so. When I rented the truck they just told me it was parked out back and left me to go get it. It seems to me that someone should at least bring the truck to the front and then ask if there are any questions about the equipment.
