JOSE LOne of the latches used to tighten the front wheel to the trailer was damaged. I had to repair it before being able to use it.

DIEGO CI have issues trying to validate myself so I had to go to the office during business hours. Then I got me a truck and just right after I turn it off the vehicle wouldn’t turn back on. I have to call roadside assistance twice and they have me waiting in a gas station more than 3 hrs. Then I received a call from the office the morning after. Trying to blame on me for the dead battery due to leaving hazards on. But the towing company actually was the one who turn hazards on when the towed vehicle back to the office I lost plenty of time. And money. Due to all this bad experience

DAVID MMake sure the lights work on the trailers. I got a trailer with non working lights. Roadside service wanted me to wait 2 hours for them to show up. I asked if I could exchange a trailer and for a working one and was told no. That’s unacceptable!

RAUL GI had initially requested a dolly and an appliance dolly, however, when I arrived they told me they didn't have any. I had to scramble and find Dollys for my move. I wish I would've been told ahead of time.

Rafael OPerform maintenance on equipment. Brakes did not work on vehicle trailer. one tire was bald and was flat. it is obvious staff does not even care for equipment or well bring of clients. Had to wait 4 hours to load the vehicle I was moving. This could have ended in an vehicular accident if I had not noticed the flat bald tire prior to loading the vehicle.

Cesar LThe location I went to was supposed to open at 9am. My reservation to pick up the trailer was 9am. I arrived to the location at 8:50am. I waited until 9 and started knocking on the door. No one was there. I waited 5 minutes then called the Uhaul 1-800 number. I drove around the block to see if there was another Uhaul building. They answer and spoke to someone at the location and they said they were open and no one has knocked. I went back and the employees arrived late. They didn’t even acknowledge arriving late or apologize for having me wait. I wasn’t upset, I was just in a hurry and seemed unprofessional. Later during the day, the trailer's right blinker stopped working while I was towing a car on the highway. Luckily I didn’t get pulled over. I then take the trailer back to the location at 6:57pm and this location is supposed to close at 7pm. No one was there again. Seems like the employees arrive late and leave early. I wouldn’t have made it a big deal but I wanted to talk to someone in person to let them know about the blinker and make sure I wouldn’t be charged extra in case they thought it was my fault. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t recommend this location.

Dulce CMy review has everything to do with Uhaul and not the specific location I rented from. I had a reservation for a Monday at 8:00 a.m. to pick up my trailer at one location. On Sunday, Lily called me from Uhaul and changed my pickup time and location because she said there was no trailer available at this location. Lily pushed my rental to 10:30 a.m. as that was the first available time at this new location. That threw off the entire moving schedule at the last minute (keep in mind, my reservation was made several weeks prior). Then, I showed up to this new location where NO ONE answered the phone or the locked door. I then had to call Uhaul again and this time spoke to Sabrina. Sabrina said my original location had an available trailer and had, in-fact, been open since 7:00 a.m. For no reason, I was needlessly delayed and rerouted for three hours during a long distance move. That is unacceptable customer service on Uhaul’s part. The specific location I ended up using (8419 San Dario) was excellent and I have no complaints about them whatsoever.

Lino VUhaul contacted me 8 hours into my drive to try to bully me to return the four day rental. Not happy.
micah cThe van was not maintained --- the low tire light was on all the time but all tires were at 52psi, the young lady that attended me when I returned the van was not helpful or informative. She said she had emailed the receipt, I have yet to receive it. I will have to go back to their office and request one. You are expensive for the service that I get. I will try to avoid you and use someone else.

Rebecca was very professional and helpful and personally made sure that all safety measures was met and satisfactory before equipment left the lot. I can see major moves or promotions for her future anywhere. She needs recognition for her efforts if she has not already. Thanks again!
Mathew SI rented the trailer at 1700 hours. Representative told me I had to return the trailer before 0900 hours the following day. Very inconvenient!!!!!!!! I was charged regular price as if I had rented the trailer for 24 hours. Not a happy camper!!!!
