The mileage out was wrong on my contract. I took pics of the gas gage and the mileage before I moved the van. When I returned the van I had more gas in it then when I left. The guy that checked me in had the fuel out wrong. He said that I didn't have enough fuel in it. I showed him my pictures and he said that the van wasn't checked in right then and that he wouldn't charge me. I showed him then that the mileage out was also wrong. He was rude and argumentative when he checked me in. When I got my revised bill he still charged me the wrong mileage.Jennifer C.

This was an hour out of my way because the day before pickup, you guys didn't have a truck at my location. I ordered the truck three weeks before and the day before closest truck was 40 miles away. You should have a rating on U-Haul system performer. This would be poor. The guy told me I was lucky that I even got a truck? It doesn't matter when you order the truck, it's when you conform it the day before. Poor business for people that maybe moving out of state!Johh M.
2 instances of not being given materials I should have been (missing a wardrobe box, and 6 furniture pads). The box was fine as I could get it later, however was given a hard time about the lack of furniture pads. Was eventually resolved, just frustrating at the time. The truck needed work on its steering, the steering was loose, and was "unsettling" to drive, was glad I returned the truck without having an accident. Also, when stopped at a red light, the engine would rev to 5 to 6,000 rpms without warning. Please note the front desk staff at this location were very nice.Patrick H.

I had a reservation for another location, which had been confirmed by them. Two days beforehand, with no explanation, suddenly they would not have the truck I reserved after all, and I had to drive twice as far to get my truck. I had to pay another $50 in gas. And this is not the first time something like this has happened. Obviously, this is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, and I will not be doing business with U-Haul again.Luke S.
Vehicle gas gauge seemed inaccurate for the amount of miles vehicle was used. Drove the Silverado 18 miles but had to put 3 gallons of gas in to see the gas gauge move. Staff could not explain what the per mile charge covers. Went from an advertised cost of $19.99 rental to a total cost of $68. Reserved my rental online to be picked up at Lebanon location and I got a reservation # for the Lebanon location. Luckily I contacted them ahead of time to confirm and was told my rental was scheduled for pick up at another Uhaul location 45 minutes away. I was never contacted by a rep. to inform me of this. Nothing to do with the local office but (1) it takes wayyyy too long to do the paperwork. I was second in line when I got there and it took 10-15 minutes to get the person in front of me processed. (2) when people who obviously, based on the side of the conversation I heard, call to inquire about a rental, too much of your employee's time is spent repeatedly answering the same question over and over. Either those calls need to be taken in private so your counter person can assist someone who is waiting in line, or they need to be taken by your call center.Daniel S.

The staff is very efficient. I made my reservation on line and towards the end of the process it indicated that my cart was empty and my information was gone. I started the process over and it was completed. A short time later I received a call from a young lady inquiring if I wanted two reservations. She then took care of the unwanted duplication. It's that kind of attention to detail that reinforces confidence in a business. Also, Bob Reed was very attentive in processing both the pick up and the return. Expected more from a storage facility. No lighting available inside the interior storage, lights in hallway leading to storage unit were very dim. The little interaction with staff seemed like we were a nuisance. Paid $170/month for interior storage and did not expect to see a lot of mouse waste on my wooden furniture shelves. Luckily only stored wood and plastic furniture and so far did not find damage from these critters. Would suggest this facility invest in some type of rodent repellents for their units so no one else has to deal with finding surprises in their belongings.Inna M. | Overall Experience

The employees were all fairly friendly and helpful, but none of the employees were wearing masks inside the building the two times I went. When getting my account set up, there were two employees working at the computer without any sort of mask. When checking out, there were three employees working on and out of the building. One of the employees did have his mask on while outside, but when I saw him inside later, he and the other two employees were not wearing masks. I felt very unsafe. When my debit card was going to be charged for the next month, it could not be. I did not know this at the time but the employee knew that and did not contact me to let me know. Instead, he let it go three days until finally letting me know he was charging me $15 extra for being late. I tried to tell him this, but he did not seem to care and charged my card anyway. So instead of $103 I paid $118. I know it isn’t that big of a difference but during times like these, every penny counts and this entire ordeal was very unflattering. It was like HE was making that $15 and did not seem to care what I had to say.
