Great and convenient experience, but please drop the $.59/mile charge. I could have rented this same vehicle at Home Depot for $20 without the mileage charge. Unfortunately, they didn't have any available. I'll use them next time if they have availability.

The van I received smelled heavily of smoke when I picked it up, it was nauseating. I only needed for the day and was in a rush so I didn't say anything . The staff was fast friendly and helpful! We have rented here before and will again thank you

Everything went according to plan one small problem they didn't tell me to log in at the drop off when the where closed to avoid at late drop fee but great people they fixed the confusion with no problem great place great service will definitely recommend this place

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They understood my needs and helped me throughout the entire rental process. The only drawback was that the appliance dolly I rented was not the one that was in the vehicle I was given, instead it had the smaller utility dolly. All things considered it was a good experience.

U-Haul web page is NOT the easiest application to schedule a rental, especially the last few tasks to confirm the appointment. Very confusing which caused me to double book at 2 different locations.

The guy who I interacted with to return the truck was not wearing a mask. This is unethical and shows distain for the customers and safety. I almost locked the door and drove off to protect him and myself. He then when into the cab to get data with out a mask. I feel bad for this fool as he has been exposed to me and my germ bubble and has no information on what risk that is. The lack of PPE and communication about risk shows poor management and a careless attitude about the safety of your workforce. It was a shameful experience for all.

I don't understand why uhaul charges $10 for furniture pads everyday you rent the truck???? Also, there were only 7 furniture pads on the truck, not 10 like it was suppose to be.

Advertised price and price over the phone was not the same as when we came in in person for a rental unit. It took three phone calls to ensure a truck for the delivery date, although once we had it everything went fine. Extra fees i.e. a lock for the storage unit we're not provided, although sold to us in a very specific manner ridiculous really l, lock should be provided for storage units For free if they insist on giving you or i.e. selling you lox they have on the premises with keys already made.

The woman who checked us in was still in training and gave us the wrong pricing on equipment. We were given no direction on where our truck was located and had to walk around the parking lot trying to find the correct truck. The drivers side door window was down and the seat was soaked from it raining. The truck smelled terrible and we had to put an air freshener in the truck. The ramp was missing the hooks to secure it when in use. It was extremely difficult trying to get our appliances into the truck because of it. We were only given $20 off for the poor service and issues. I would not recommend any family or friends to this location.

Customer service and all the U-Haul team members where very nice. The truck that I rented there was an over whelming smell of cologne. I was able to drive with the windows open which helped. Nobody's fault ! the person who used/rented the truck before me liked to wear a ton of cologne.

My review is not in reference to the location or the service I received at it. That was good. The “easy cell phone” rental was difficult, took time out of my already tight day as I was moving, unnecessarily difficult, time consuming. Please fix your cell phone pick up process. I almost walked away angry and without a truck. If it hadn't been for the guy at the counter helping that is.

Was told by a representative on Thursday 11/29 that if we wanted to change our reservation for Saturday 10/31 from at 10' truck to a 15' truck on Saturday, that it wouldn't be a problem to do it that day. When we went to pick up at 7:30 Saturday morning we were told we could not change our reservation to a 15' truck, because there were none available. We then decided to go with the 10' truck we had reserved, but then the truck would not start. The representative at the store also tried to rush us through checking over the truck further, saying that he knew nothing was wrong with it, that there were no scratches or anything. When we went to return the truck that evening, we were told to just leave the keys in it, and everything was all set. We got a call the following morning, asking us when we were planning on returning the truck. Obviously whoever was working the evening before was too lazy to check the truck back in. We had previously had great experiences at this location, but this experience has soured us from using it again in the future.

I had a 0900 reservation and the guy never showed up. I had to go to a different uhaul store 35 minutes away to pick up a smaller trailer. Then I had to make 2 trips from Connecticut to New Hampshire. I was livid

I reserved the equipment online but had to provide the information again when I arrived for pickup. I thought the truck and trailer would be ready upon arrival but had to wait. I had to Inspect both pieces for unreported damage by comparing pictures of the equipment online to the actual vehicle and take photos of damage not contained in the photos provided by uhaul. It was difficult to inspect the exterior of the vehicle as it was wet from rain and should have been washed to remove road residue from previous use in order to perform inspection. The interior was fairly clean but had dried food crumbs stuck to the drivers side seat. When reserving equipment online the process should be streamlined so when the customer arrives identification is confirmed and good to go vs the 45 minute process required before actually departing with the equipment.

The brakes almost killed me and gas gauge faulty. Upon return an employee asked how the brakes were which means that knew and could have given me another truck. It was a horrible experience and I'm not happy at all!

Frank is very helpful and pleasant. Russell Hiltquist is a rude and miserable human contact with ignorant people skills and public relations. I rent 40 plus trailers per year at this location. I will drive an extra 40 min round trip to another location to avoid Russell at the location less than 10 min from my house. -JG

On the unit list it clearly showed me my locker and stairs leading up all around. I was unaware that I would need a ladder to get to my unit. It is impossible to put anything heavy or any furniture in the unit because of its placement. Will never shop at uhaul again

The reason I’m giving average rating is because when arriving to the storage unit we were told that the lock hinges would be adjusted because they were loose & didn’t align, which made it hard to close the lock. The guy that supposedly “fixed” it only had to put a bigger washer in the back of the door because the door is worn out were the screw is. But no.... he decided to force the screw tight. Only to realize it wasn’t aligned & then grabbed a drill and just made the lock hole bigger, instead of doing the job properly. You tell me that isn’t some ghetto carpentry 🤦🏻‍♀️. I know for a fact that it’s going to get loose again. If he would’ve fixed it properly he wouldn’t have to come back again when it loosens up again. The lazy work harder & double. I sure hope they don’t try to charge me for something that was already messed up.. mind you that I said yes to the unit ONLY because he said it was going to get fixed for proper use. I’m not the happiest camper but I’m happy with the storage space & the facility is very clean. Just that 1 little detail would’ve given U-haul a 5 star rating but I have to be realistic, so there you have it.

Leominster U Haul, lied about my contacting them. I called & emailed them, 8/2017. Told them to sell CONTENTS. THEY WAITED UNTIL A YR LATER TO DO THIS. I AM Beyond angry, I am furious.
