I had made a reservation and paid for my hitch to be installed on a Saturday morning. I go by on Friday before to check on it and they can't find my reservation.. they look at my phone and finally find my reservation then proceed to tell me the installer is off on Saturday. I had planned to help a friend move this weekend and needed this hitch that is why I scheduled of for Saturday. The guy at the store Tells me to come back Sunday as his guy is off Saturday. I get there today, Sunday at 9 am, the lady says â€œno, she does not have any hitch installs today.â€ I could have screamed! I kept my cool and finally was able to show her my phone confirmation. They finally get to my car after an hour and do the install. The install went fine but a day late and dollar short. Why a fiasco for me and my friend I was going to help. Absolutely no competence at this Uhaul dealership and no communication between management and staff. Retrain or get new management. They even told me all the parts were not in but after looking after I asked them to they were able to find the parts. WHAT A JOKE. Find another place for your hitch install. They have no idea of customer service or care at all.michael C.

I rent all of the time but today I had to bring the truck back because it was not safe. I asked if there would be one on Monday since I was not able to get what I needed to do finished and was told maybe. I was still charged. I am so upset I will NEVER go there againGina P.
The front door was missing the handle so you couldn't open it. I had to go through the slider warehouse side. I said hello as I entered and the guy had his music up so loud he couldn't hear me. When I approached him it was ad if I startled him. The guy was high as a kite. He was very rude, not professional. As I checked the truck out and removed the sun windheild visor the passage visor fell off in my hand. I took it to the sales guy and he looked at me with a blank stare. Upon returning the truck the guy was still there, even though the sign said "pull up here and stay with the vehicle, an attendant would come to meet me" I stayed in the truck for about 2 mins with no attendant. I knocked on the door and got the same guys attention and he was even higher, you could barely see the whites of his eyes. And again he ignored me. Overall the experience was less then ideal, and the rep was very rude. Definitely will not be using U-haul again.NATHAN LEE N.

We weren't able to unload due to extreme rain. When we began unpacking the Uhaul the next day, we found out that our contents were wet! Mattresses, guitar, bedding, pillows, pictures, and a lot more. I tried calling the Uhaul location I'd booked from, but they never answered. I spoke with a customer service person at the Uhaul call center, and she told me to contact Uhaul's insurance company. She also said she'd have the manager of the store call meâ€¦I've still not received a call from the manager.ANDREA S.

This trip to Uhaul was an absolute blessing. I had received estimates on getting my towing hitch installed. They were ridiculous!! 3 times what UhaÃ¹l charged! But it gets better! Uhaul was able to increase my towing capacity too! Felicia was excellent with the administrative end & tracking down the hitch. She made sure my truck would be ready in time & even called me to remind me to pickup!! Jesse who installed the hitch perfectly also had to pick it up from a distant location on his day off no less!! I couldn't even believe he volunteered to do that. Thank you Jesse & Felicia for taking all of the stress out of the experience. It meant a lot to me. You are a great team!!Linda C.

Originally was supposed to drop off at a different location, but they were closed on Sunday and had no after hours drop off. I was not aware of their weekend hours when I selected that site. The contract stated I could do an after hours drop but online. The site was fenced in and locked. Transferring to the second site was a hassle, but they ended up helping me.william K.

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a Saturday moring. Showed up and was told they did not have a hitch tech scheduled. Waited around for about 2 hrs per the gentleman working the desk. Finally I gave up and waited in line to speak to the man at the counter to ask for an appointment during the week. Not sure why no one was able to contact me ahead of time to reschedule. Or even swiftly reschedule me to begin with and offer a discount for the inconvenience. This is the 2nd hitch I have had installed by this location. I had a HORRIBLE experience here, from the start the woman I talked to on the phone, named Angelo, was so rude, she interrupted me everytime I tried to speak and I felt disrespected. Then I get to the u-hual pick up spot and the guy working at the Desk named JESSE was so rude and sorry that it shocked my entire experience. He didn't want to answer any questions and he put the wrong drop off location for the U haul. This made me waist an entire hour of time and gas. This was my first experience with u-hual and most likely my last. I understand having a bad day, but bringing that to work Is UNPROFESSIONAL. PLEASE SEND SOMEONE TO FIX THIS, OR SHUT ThIS PLACE DOWN. The item I picked up went smooth. They had me in and out in just a brief few minutes When I returned it the next day I had to wait almost 25 minutes for the girl to finish up the one customer in front of her. I was instructed where to drop it off but had to find someone to check it in and help unhook the trailer. I have used this location several times before with no problems. I did not actually see the inside of the facility. I had words with the person working there. I drove from Fate, arriving at 6:55pm according to my iPhone. The entrance was already locked prior to 7:00. I just needed to get my key so I could store some items. The woman was checking in a truck and ignored me, then told me that she helped the last customer at 7:00pm and there was camera footage proving it. I was pretty angry, as I was moving the next day. The woman got right up in my face (according to friends waiting in a car). Even if I was angry, it was totally unprofessional of her to escalate the situation. The woman who was working there said she helped the person before me at 6:59pm and that I got there after 7pm. I raced to get there before 7 and did get there at 6:57pm. She said she couldn’t help me because it was after 7:00 when I got there. She asked if I wanted to see camera footage and I said yes. She did not show me. I explained that I had to be out of my house in the morning. She said there was nothing she could do. I said that I tried to call and that someone should answer the f***ing phone. Then she got aggressive and said since I was rude she wasn’t going to help me at all. I’ve worked in retail and know that you are supposed to try to de-escalate, not confront the customer and make it worse. My friends were watching from another vehicle and said that the employee got right up in my face and looked like she was about to hit me when I walked away. I will never go back there and want a refund for the insurance. I will attempt to find another place to rent a truck in the morning. I’m sure she will tell a different story, but if you look at her camera footage , you will see that she locked the door early. I came in about 10 to 15 minutes before closing because I came from the other location on Jim Millerand 175 and was told they didn't have any storages left so he told me where the closest one was but other than that angel at the Jim Miller location was not very friendly at all, but back to my visit to the gross road location everything was very satisfactory and even though I came in so close to closing the guy, and I am sorry I can't remember his name was very helpful and very nicecatherine c. | First Impressions
