The way they’ve set this storage facility up is not convenient. You have to park on the street and this facility is NOT in a good part of town so leaving your things unattended while you are loading or unloading is not ideal. Would not recommendSCOTT S. | Overall Experience

We were over charged on mileage. Online when we reserved and did all of our stuff online it's states it's .79 cents a mile then we were charged .99 cents a mile. This is very dishonest and is false advertisement.Michael A.

The truck sounded pretty rough. I got back on Saturday 30 minutes before it closed. They had already locked the door and the guy didn't want to check it in till tomorrow. I didn't want to wait till tomorrow as I didn't want the truck to get trashed over night and it be on me. So I had to take the time to do the online check in which was a hassle.Andrew S.
Truck brakes would have to be pumped to stop. This is the same truck that the brakes went out completely that we drove several months ago. Windshield dirty inside and out. Fuel mileage 6.5 per mile THIS TRUCK NEEDS TO BE JUNKED!!!!!mark S.

No one had name tags on so I don't know their names. We needed a trailer for some shelves we were going to pick up the trailer we have was way too heavy for my vehicle, so we ran to Verity Uhaul to get one, well we get there and my wiring harness had been chewed up or something so I needed a wiring harness we go back in and look to see if they have the part, and they did!! Last one left just for my car, I take the harness up to the girl working the counter the older gentleman that helped us with the trailer is helping someone else now. The girl looks at computer and looks at me says is this the only one out there I said yes she said we can't sell it, it not in my system. She slid it back to me then started doing something else. I went over looked frantically at all the other ones to make sure I didn't over look one nothing. The gentleman comes back in from helping the other person and we asked him why it couldn't be sold, with a little time and patience he sold it to us just fine! We were in there about an hour or close to it our day was shot I was worried I wasn't going to be back before they closed and the man said don't worry it's a 24 hour rental if you don't need it the whole time bring it back and park it we will check it in for you. The service rep added insurance to my rental when I specifically said no insurance onlline when I set it up and again when he asked me if I wanted insurance. On a side note. The technician was also very helpful in getting the trailer hooked up and disconnected.Gary S.

Rude blond manager. Inside units not lit. Gave us a truck that looked like potted plants spilled in. Had to have them clean it. After they blew it out n mopped it was slick in spots. My stuff had been in two units since last November it’s now September. While there they increased my rates! One was seriously the size of a small closet. I had no where else to Tammy stuff so I just had to pay up. It was uncalled for in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They say call to resolve disputes. Why? Are they giving money back? I've rented U-Haul's many times. Although the staff was polite, you are sent to the lot way behind the building to find your truck yourself. The tank was 'half full'...almost. When you use the app to confirm the condition of the truck, the photos of current condition are supposed to have a black X indicating existing damage. No X on any photo. Yes, there was damage...it's a U-Haul. Durr.Sherri S.

Salesperson did not inform me of gas credit. She went into my bank account twice taking 30.00 for gas when I originally received the uhaul on empty. If I got it empty, I had the right to return it empty. But I did not. There was still gas in there, just not 1/4. When I originally got it on EMPTY. To the point I was scared to drive off. But she insist it was okay since the gas station was right up the street. Never properly explaining to be how that worked. Cause I wouldn't of never did it. My original quote was 732.00 I believe. When she got through, I was at 932.00, plus 30.00 twice. I can't believe it! How do you go from 700.00 to 900.00 in taxes, etc. That was dramatic. I've rented from uhaul for over ten years and has never encountered this problem with uhaul.Lenora H.

My storage unit had trash in it and wholes in the bottom of the halls, I hope there is not a rat or mice problem at this facility I don’t want my things eaten by rats or mice. The staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend renting trucks Uboxes, and equipment from there but not the storage.Joyful S. | First Impressions

Truck not swept out, trash in front cab left from previous renter, ashes and marijuana debris in cup holder, gas gauge much lower than my paperwork reflected when I started the truck in the lot. I rent from uhaul frequently and this was one of the worst experiences to date. I will say that the representative was very polite and helpful with the initial rental process. However, when I immediately came back in to express concern and go over the truck condition, gas level, etc. I was directed to the website or text app to report and she couldn't help me at all??? When I picked up up I was loading and noticed the turning signal was about ready to fall out. I let the gentleman there know that maybe it would be good to probably give me another unit, he said it would be fine. So half way to florida the whole signal fell out. So I had to drive from Ohio to florida towing with no right turning signal or brake light.Ron S.
The older man who was working was extremely rude at first. The younger lady working was very helpful though. There was a lot of confusion on how to go about the payment, who would be driving, even how to hook the dolly up to the truck. At the end the older man changed his attitude so things went smoothly. Week prior I reserved a 26 foot truck. My reservation was somehow canceled creating a whole lot of trouble for us. Spoke to customer service and they promised a $50 credit. They also reserved a truck for us for yesterday. Picked up and used truck no problem. Inquired of attendant about the credit. He said he doesnt know anything about it when people in customer service stated it would appear on our account. Completed the return of truck at agent's suggestion to see if credit appeared. Saw no credit. Will be calling corporate to inquire. Whole process was made more difficult by having to turn in the vehicle online. All of the photos requested were difficult for us as we were already exhausted and spouse had to climb back in the cab twice. We tried to get agent to accept the truck as it was only 4:30 PM but he was unresponsive and did not appear interested in helping us. Overall, we thought the truck was fine, but the customer service was seriously lacking. We will likely use another company in future.Barbara P.

The gentleman who helped me get all set up was amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is they forgot to remove their red lock from the unit before renting it to me and it took about 30 minutes for them to remove it. The manager made sure all the people who came in after me were helped before removing the lock which could have been done between between. I was told that that was a big unit I rented and I could barely get my washer and dryer and couch in Theresa well as 6 medium boxes! We spent over 3 hours trying to cram everything in there and rearrange the few items we was storing! When COVID struck and people weren’t making their regular income, such as myself, I got no help in trying to save my unit. It was over priced, but the only thing available to me at the time. They weren’t willing to take payments on my balance. Only wanted full payment which I simply wasn’t able to do, due to lesser hours being worked. My unit was sold because I just couldn’t afford to pay the balance. So I had to let family heirlooms go. Very saddened and unhappy with my experience. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50% of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands.
