This particular location was great, except it was way out of our way to go and pick up our trailer and not the location we selected. This is the second time this has happened where we have had to go almost an hour in the opposite direction due to the location we chose not having the equipment we requested over a month in advance. Hopefully, the one I reserved for next month will be at the location I selected. I use them for moving products to vendor events for my small business and can't afford to keep paying the additional fuel costs.Charles W.

The service at this location was terrible. The guys running it had a poor attitude about not having the correct equipment in the truck. Knorr was it ready to go inside the truck for the app pickup. Running out of dollies and not informing me of it. Had made this appointment 2 weeks in advance. The windshield had so many bug splats and the side windows needed to be cleaned. Also I have always had a full tank of gas inside these trucks ready to go, but it was down to its last 1/8. Which means it takes more time out of my day to work on loading it. I have done this multiple times in my life and this was the poorest experience yet. I spent an hour just getting this pickup, equipped and fueled. I also called customer service at U-Haul to complain about this. I was suppose to get a follow up call from the manager/owner of the location. Still have not heard anything back yet 9/11/2021. Will report service issues on other social media as well.BRANDON K.
It was a busy time in town with college starting. We were able to get the paperwork done quickly, hook up the trailer, and get going with our move. The person who waited on us was helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this location.Carl W.

They were very nice and helpful. I have never pulled a trailer. My husband made me pick it up. They were so nice and hooked it up and gave me pointers for taking it home. I told them what route I was taking and it worked out perfect.Carol T.

There should be a discount when forced to take a larger truck than needed. It requires more gas, and larger space is not the safest way to move belongings so more items get broken. Not to mention, larger trucks require more effort to maneuver and often in less known environments.Brady L.

I was supposed to receive a call on Aug 14th to confirm the pickup details but to my knowledge I never received a call. I reserved a truck for 12 hours, 8am to 8pm. I was unable to pickup right away and when I looked at the website when I was picking up around 10am (well within my original window), suddenly my reservation was changed to 12pm to 4pm. The guy with not too much pushback was able to correct to the errors but I find it unprofessional and irritating to suddenly have my reservation in question on what's already a very big and complicated day. Your Toll Free telephone service â€œsoldâ€ & highly recommended Hoss movers as helpers ( in Bay City, MI) Uhaul was paid hundreds of dollars. The movers contacted me & agreed upon an arrival time. When that date & time came they never showed & couldn't be reached by phone. The local Uhaul office attempted to call also on my behalfâ€¦ but not the Uhaul toll free phone # who processed my payment. My phone call was mysteriously disconnected by your toll free phone#â€¦ How & when will I be reimbursed & compensated for the movers, time, etc. The experience was brutally harsh & awful.angel H.

Order a 6 by 12 trailer a week ahead of time when I got there it was not available someone who had rented it didn't return it so after waited 45 mins for return instead took a 5 by 9 trailer instead. Didn't want a 5 by 9 but had too use it.David C.

The National Uhaul Customer Service telephone system really dampened my opinion of the local office by promising me Movers that violated terms of my Uhaul contract when they never showed up. The local office said they couldn't help me obtain a reimbursementâ€¦ My move was postponed & now I had to pay additional rent as well as pay new movers! Uhaul set me back hundreds of dollars extra when their highly recommended helpers never arrived and my calls to customer service went unanswered and no adequate response for help was provided to meâ€¦ I was told the problem was not â€œlocal Uhaulâ€ office which this survey pertains to - the culprit was the main toll free phone service which booked my equipment and movers.angel H.

Uhaul is very slow to fix problems with the online website and administering refunds, but very quick to charge fees. Used 24/7 App for transaction. Pickup went smoothly. Drop off was full of problems. App did not work and had a 57 min wait on hold for 800 number help. Left dropoff without completing dropoff transaction. Could not get anyone at this location to talk to the next day. Area district manager I contacted was so helpful! Two days later and still no call from this site, let a request I put in via 800 help line.James P.

Only problem I had was I dropped the trailer I used off after hours and couldn't get in contact with the office to confirm my return. Tried customer service only to be disconnected after 25 minutes on the 1st call and 30 on the second.Kyle W.

The whole experience was a fiasco. We rented a truck a week before we needed it. We received a confirmation that the truck would be available and where to pick it up. When we arrived on the day of pick up, the location did not have a truck for us. The original pick up time was 10:00 am. We were informed that we should have received a text or email to confirm the reservation. WE did not!! We were told to call the 1-800-go-u-haul number. We waited on hold for AN HOUR!!! We were then told that that person could not help us and we needed to talk to a scheduling manager. We were then put on hold for another 20 MINUTES!! When the scheduling manager got on the phone, he stated that Uhaul had more reservations than they had trucks available. He put us on hold AGAIN!!! He came back and indicated that he did not have a truck for us until 4:30 that afternoon and that the truck would be in a city that was AN HOUR AWAY!!! He was short and not very helpful!! We wasted an entire day and a half of a tank of gas trying to get the truck we were promised that morning.Kathy M.
First time U-Haul renter. Had an excellent experience from start to finish. He walked out and showed me how to hook everything up. U-Haul was also flexible with the return when I called to explain I was running late and would not get the trailer back before they closed. They said not to worry about it as long as it's there by open the next morning which gave me a sense of relief and allowed me not to rush. I have family moving within the month in this area that are considering renting a trailer. I will certainly be recommending this location to them.Eric W.

the truck drop off process is very time consuming and not everyone has a phone to take pictures, too many steps for dropping off. between the pick up and drop off issues it may be a while before I use uhaul again.Jonathan H.

This was my first time driving a U-Haul and I was a little apprehensive but he talked me through every question and concern I had. Uhaul storage forces their customers to purchase one of their locks to start. Then cuts a customers second lock off storage unit because they need to know when we are in and out of our unit. So they put second lock on of theirs and makes customers go in the office pick up the key and then has to drop off the key once you're done.
