Was given the address to the wrong entrance by uhaul. Came to a gate in a hill with a trailer with no place to backup. Waited for 30 minutes for U-Haul to contact location to open gate. I finally got out of the truck to walk to the key code box and found the number of the rude GM Sharon. When I finally got the code (out of the truck) the gate closed before I could get back in my truck. Put the code in again and the gate was closing as I was trying to go through. The employee stopped a golf cart in front of me and ran into the building. I waited another 15 minutes for her to return. She was rude, did not try to diffuse the situation at all. Worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul, and I have used you a lot in the last 2 years.

The reservations seemed to have been mixed up. But, Sharon fixed everything so seamlessly and made this emotional move so much easier. Sharon was helpful and courteous.

This was a quick turnaround for this particular truck. They personnel probably didn’t get a chance to check the truck. It wasn’t a big deal to me, I was just letting you know. I’ve rented from this location multiple times in the past and this is the only time I’ve received a dirty vehicle.

Clerks up front had poor understanding of rental system. Had to provide my credit card and ID 3 separate times for them to process my rental. “System is being slow.” Attitude was just so-so. Place smelled like smoke :(

I reserved ahead of time— I show up and there is some system issue with my reservation. I was able to get a truck anyway, which was a relief. The truck I did get had all sorts of damages and needed to be clean out. There was food, trash, leaves and crumbs all in the floor board. I reserved to have a dolly— the worker couldn’t find where they were, so I had to leave without one. I was reimbursed, which I appreciated. As far as professionalism: workers were pleasant but not very professional. Talking on personal phones to boyfriends, hair not washed in several days, and one worker I couldn’t even tell they worked there based off their attire.

Truck was clean and ready on time. The workers were nice to work with. The location is reasonable but not easy to get in and out of with regards to the traffic and the convenience store. But would use this location again.

The lady running the counter could not figure out how to give me boxes I had already purchased. U-Haul moved where I was scheduled to pick up my truck and she said I couldn’t get them because they were at the other location even though boxes were in the store. She was slow and I never got the boxes I paid for. She seemed lost, too slow, and not knowledgeable. I still haven’t gotten a refund for the boxes and she said they would be refunded.

The current Manager is poor. Bathrooms are filthy, no soap, sometimes no TP. Lights out in hallways and unit. Cars parked everywhere limiting movement. Six years in that unit and I left due to her.

This was the 2nd place you guys sent me to. I will never use Uhaul again. I was sent 20 miles in the wrong direction to pick up at a place that wasn't even open. Then was sent to this place (Which I passed on the way to the closed location.. (EMPLOYEE HERE WAS FANTASTIC).... However, I drove an extra hour because of this. Unacceptable.

Get the email address right. You've been periodically sending these to me for what feels like a decade despite me never using your services. Multiple attempts to get this corrected have not resulted in any response from you.

Great facility and lovely staff. Pricing is unfortunately not competitive. I moved to a larger unit for a lower price in a more convenient (significant less traffic) location.

Absolute horrible experience. I rented a truck for Sunday pickup, I was notified on Saturday night that the contract had been completed. I opened the document and it showed that a truck had been our truck had been taken out by someone else at 4pm on a Saturday, under our name and drivers license number, and then returned late that night. Called Customer service immediately, they set us up with a new truck for that Sunday and couldn’t explain how this happened. Show up, the battery was dead in the truck we were supposed to get because the keys were left in the on position the day before. 30 minutes later we walked away in the only option they had which was a size we didn’t request.

Make sure U-Haul personnel are properly trained to utilize U-Haul software assuring customers have a smooth checkin and checkout transactions.

I rented the uhale van, the ad states it cost $19.95. That is not true it cost me over $130 to rent the van for one day. On my invoice I don’t see $19.95 any place. Uhale ad is not true.

I was asked for my drivers license and cr card when I went to the location to rent the vehicle. The morning of my rental, I received a text from uhaul asking for a picture of my dr license. When I arrived at uhaul to pick up the vehicle, I was asked for my dr license and my cr card. I do not understand why I needed to submit my cards to uhaul three separate times. I was also told my rate to rent was $19.95, plus mileage. My invoice shows a rental fee of &79. I am very confused. I will call your location and ask them to explain. My wait time to pick up my vehicle was over 20 min. I would like that to have been shorter.

I have had this reservation for some time, at least a month. I requested 12 furniture pads for my move. When I got there the lady stated they didn't have any furniture pads. When I asked how long they have known about this she stated a week at least. I asked how come I was not informed about the unavailability of pads, and why didn't the uhaul place get pads from another dealer. I got the universal shrug of the shoulders. Someone at least could have called me about it the day prior, so I could make some arrangements for furniture pads, since they were not going to take the initiative for acquiring some. Very poor!!!

I asked to pick up at a specific location. I would have gladly paid $70 more for the next size up to avoid what I went through. Brake lights didn’t work on the trailer. When I went to pick up it took the lady 40 minutes to”check in”. It was in a sketchy building downtown Birmingham. I was not given ANY paperwork. When I came to drop off none of my Info was connected to the trailer, so I just left it at the specified location, not knowing another option

I have never been to this location, so I use the GPS to find it. My GPS took me to the back entrance which had a locked gate that was only accessible to storage customers. Other than that I have no complaints

Whoever does their accounting should be provided some additional training. It took months to straighten out their incorrect billing. Attempting to contact the site during this time was difficult.
