at first, we were told to pick trailer up at Billie Dee's (no one was there), then we were told to go to another location, before we got to this location,. Which was a bit of running around, but Billie Dee (?) did call around and was helpful to get us the 4x8 that we had reserved. otherwise, everything was good.

They overcharged me. The owner is unfriendly and acts like a jerk. He’s a weird little man with painted fingernails and an attitude. The uhaul truck was hard to turn and drive. I’ve driven many uhaul trucks through the years and never one this bad. I would never recommend using this location to anyone. You will need to do a lot to help this site.

The 15" truck I rented was awful. It only 83k miles on it but the truck was rough to drive, I could not go over 65mph. The truck would sputter and at like jt was going to break down. It took me over 2 hours to travel 65 miles. It was scary

Have the trucks at the time we reserve them. We should have to change plans 24hrs prior to pick up due to you calling to say you won't have a truck till 6 hrs later. But if you have no trucks it won't let you continue. The lady was so rude about it.

The parking lot at this location is a little bit tight for returning a trailer, no easy place to turn around if there are other vehicles in the parking lot. Maybe use the aisles/roads between the storage units as a trailer drop off location.

The truck was just fine, no complaints. The packing blankets were another matter. Although they were neatly folded and wrapped in plastic, they were full of debris that got all over the things I was moving, and one blanket was unusable because it had an eight-inch diameter reeking yellow pee stain. These blankets clearly were not checked before being repacked. I didn't expect them to be laundry fresh but certainly expected better than this.

The truck I was renting was not actually at this site, but a few blocks away at a warehouse type facility, but the keys were at the location above, causing some confusion and frustration while trying to pick up the truck. Thankfully the guy inside the office that had the key was very nice and helpful.

U-Haul's policy of having to know exact location of delivery caused me about 45 minutes worth of delay. Was moving my daughter to an apartment complex in Oklahoma City. Just needed a trailer to do that. Was told I needed the address. I had no idea of the address. Finally found the address and gave it to the agent. Next question from him, " What is the apartment number?". When I asked why he needed that, the agent smugly replied, "Because U-Haul wants to know where their multi thousand dollar equipment is being used.". I think the answer is more like they are harvesting data to sell. WHERE MY 24 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IS LIVING IS NOT U-HAUL'S BUSINESS. Took me an additional 20 minutes to get in touch with my wife to get the information on the apartment number just so I could rent a small trailer. Poor policy on U-HAUL'S part. Definitely not renting from this location again.

Zach and the new gentleman (I apologize for not having his name) Were wonderful - Very helpful. I feel they went above and beyond. My only issue is with your system sending messages at 10:48 I was getting messages that I needed to call or my reservation would be cancelled. This is confusing when I was given a window of 10:00 am to 5:00 pm to pick up our boxes. When you are moving there are lots of moving parts and people and being on a strict schedule is not always possible.

Another employee would have been helpful. The assistant manager did a GREAT job, but there were 4 rental customers waiting and he was the only one. He was doing two customers at once and going in and out to lock/unlock items and assisting those customers, too. Our wait time was only 15 minutes with all this going on, but that poor guy was running!!

It’s VERY confusing. I’m an intelligent person. Lol. But still why market two separate locations with only one pick up drop off area? It would just make so much more sense to list all the vehicles at the land run location which is where they are picked up and dropped off. And please- please- add some signage that explains to find the attendant you go to the unmarked door at the back of the warehouse. It’s honestly quite ridiculous that there were four people there to pick up and none of us had a clue where to go to see the attendant. Signage!! Thx.

The main concern I had with this U-Haul site is the handicap parking is on the other side of the building I had to walk up a ramp or a dock to get to the office both times I rented a U-Haul here, very short staffed.

Experienced some difficulty uploading my ID in the app and setting an alternate contact (it was not made known at first the address had to be different). It ultimately took 4-5 times to make it through successfully, but I still appreciated the option and preferred it over in person.
It was not made clear the location of the unit was not at the primary address listed but was instead a few blocks west. The linked map in the email that was supposed to show the layout never loaded correctly.

The person who was responsible for check in was very rude. We went there 5 minutes late. We understand that by then physical check in was closed and we had to do online check-in. As this was our 1st Uhaul, we asked him for some help and he was so pissed off.
Then the check-in process was really complicated. At last, we only drived 13+ miles. But to full the tank it took $5 gas! It was insane. We didn't even use that much gas. Overall the charges were pretty expensive, the process was complicated.
It could have been a lot better.
For only two hours drive, almost $50 charges are pretty insane.

I found uhaul storage very close to fraudulent practices and borderline theft. I will never use them again nor would I ever recommend them. I paid my account on the 3rd giving notice i would be closing my account on or before the 7th yet i was denied even a partial refund, that is just ripping someone off

Why is gate always open. Easy access for a thief. Thats why they gave me a card to swipe to get in. I was even moving at 3am gate still open. Plus had reservation online then everything got twisted around and cost me more money. Whats the. Point of doing reservation and everything. Cost me more when i went in. 2 days of truck and uhaul.

I’m so very frustrated with this company I could scream. I picked up a uhaul in keifer oklahoma. The man that did my contract messed up it was supposed to be a one way 80mile trip from there to Stillwater because that’s where I was moving. I go to drop off in Stillwater and they want to charge me double for the uhaul because my contract was messed up at no fault of my own. I ask about the storage unit for one month free. They couldn’t do that because the contract was messed up and it wasn’t were I was supposed to be. I was told to call corporate and have them help. After sitting on hold for 45 minutes I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked for her manager and was told no. I’m disgusted with how poorly you all treat your customers and will make sure to tell everyone to use a different moving service

Just after moving, from my original city, to another, my wallet was stolen, and after receiving new everything, I thought I had updated everything (multiple automatic billing dates). After initially moving forward, I never received my billing issue warning (automated email issues for nonpayment) until I was contacted by the GM Ian, over the matter. Initially feeling like an idiot, I was quickly relieved as Ian was brought up to date, and he assured me nothing would happen to my belongings (was in between paychecks and still struggling to catch up from deposits/move in fees, etc.). Ian made it easy for me to catch up from my previous month, and cover the month we were already well into. It’s the people within the business that will make/break the business, and Ian is beyond making an easy future customer out of me. U-Haul should be proud they have such people as Ian, representing them!

My chief complaint is that I paid for two months. 129.90. Well, was able to clear it all out after 3 weeks. So, I get it set up for a refund for the second month. Your emoloyee, who honestly, looks and kind of acts like a active meth user (issac ingram) set my refund up as check request instead of sending it back to my card. I had to borrow money from friends so I could buy groceries that the 64.95 refund was to buy. Being diabetic I dont get the choice of skipping meals and I really dont like having to ask my friends for money.

The whole area was very clean and well cared for. There was a restroom in one of the storage units for the general public, that was impressive! The units seems to spray for bugs, so you don't have to worry about taking spiders home with you when you vacate.

Was in desperate need of a storage unit and found one at one of the two U-Haul facilities in Stillwater. Reserving and paying online was seamless and the unit was ready almost immediately for move. Super clean and very efficient process! 10/10 would recommend.

It was very hard to locate anyone in the office. I stopped by 10 times and it said they were out on the property. The number they gave was ultimately sent you to a call center for Uhaul. After holding 30 plus minutes 3 different times. I waited and finally received this notification. I actually moved out on the 6-18-2021. Thank you, Jody

If someone is renting a truck and a space from your company online, it should be able to pick up and recommend a storage size that can accommodate that truck. For example, I got the 10’ truck for my daughters dorm and a 5x5 storage unit. The website should have told me that not everything in a 10’ truck could hold everything in a 5x5. It would have been nice to have had a warning that popped up telling me that the storage unit I chose may not fit what can fill a 10’ truck. I would have then gotten a larger one! Thankfully, by the power of God, I got everything to fit in there. But a warning would have been nice. Not everyone can see how big a 5x5 is until they are there. The website should recommend storage units based on the truck that some orders.

I ordered a lock online with my purchase and was unaware each locker already came with one. The employee at the front desk was rather lethargic and unenthusiastic to be there. Almost made me feel like I shouldn't be there. A lady out in the yard though was helpful and polite when I needed help finding the reserved locker. Said locker was clean and ready for move-in but lighting made for a bit of a safety hazard and difficult to see where I was placing my items.

The staff in Stillwater were always so very nice and professional. We needed this service unfortunately since our apartment was small. We are thankful that they were great to work with and courteous even when they were busy sometimes they tried to make each customer feel acknowledged and important. Our checkout experience was especially wonderful and the young man should be commended in this time of social distancing as he did a great job!
