They charged me $25 cleaning fee and it was clean when i dropped the truck. Not sure what cleaning fee is about. I have rented uhaul multiple times but never been charged cleaning feeAditya K.

They are the best and a life saver! I had reserved a truck and equipment for my move at another uhaul location (3 days prior) at 212 main st, Norwalk CT. When I arrived the day of the move to pick up the truck and equipment they said they didn't have any of the equipment I reserved because apparently â€œI never reserved them since they had no record of it in their system.â€ Not to mention the guy who checked us in was very mean to us. Very rude, even after I showed him proof of my confirmation email and he still continued to have an attitude and told us to go to another uhaul location to acquire the equipment. I didn't care about every piece of equipment I reserved/needed except for the 2 furniture dolly's. I started to stress and panic after calling around other locations just for the 2 dolly's because not only was it last minute but they had already been in use or promised for other customers that day. But, the uhaul location at 1 Selleck st Norwalk CT. Went above and beyond helping me. Were able to find 2 furniture dolly's at the last minute. I was very pleased. The staff was amazing and very understanding and empathetic to my situation. I will never use another uhaul location again EXCEPT for the 1selleck st location because of their kindness and accommodations. I have already recommended them to my family and friends and will continue to only use them in the future. They're amazing and the best. Total life savers. They deserve an award.Naxhije H.

Be a little sympathetic if a customer arrives 5 minutes late while someone is still in the office. She left me stranded without out canceling my reservation and it took 1 1/2 hrs to do it over through customer support.Emanuel F.

Air conditioning was not working properly. It only worked 25% of the time for a 900 mile trip, which isn't acceptableDaniel C.
I used app to access and return the car. While I was waiting for my application approval there was no indication that it was under review, only chat with the support button and some changing instructions (check mirrors, don't text while during...). That was pretty confusing as I didn't know what was happening and what to expect next. The support person didn't answer for 10 minutes when I sent a message. Overall approval took more than 10 minutes, that's a very long time compared to the offline option (cashier desk at the office). Please 1) add a note to the screen that the application is under review and you need to wait for a while 2) and if possible, provide ETA for application review. The fuel tank was NOT full, I returned it with a slightly higher level, but it was not full either. Upon the return, when I sent pictures with the level confirmation, the application charged me for the fuel and that was super confusing, I got angry due to unfairness. I filed the claim and it was accepted, but you can do better here. Please automate the comparison of the initial and return level of the fuel so that client does NOT need to file a claim (for instance make picture of the initial level so that it's easier to compare or accept receipt from the fuel station and approximate it to the milage in addition to the fuel level).ILLIA P.

I had the wipers customer experience ever! The staff was very rude and unprofessional when I arrived. Refused to guide me through the online pick up process. I placed several phone calls to the 800 #, no one seemed to be able to help me. The whole process took over 2.5 hours which cost me extra money because I wasn't able to get to my destination on time. Check in was a little bumpy because the app/website didn't recognize my reservation. And I had been told the office opened at 7 AM which was incorrect. But the woman who works there was awesome. She assisted me before the office officially opened and helped me navigate the hiccup in your system. I want to compliment her highly because she smoothed everything out. One last comment. The van wasn't particularly clean. There was a wad of chewing gum in the passenger door and what looked like spilled sodaADAM F.
