I probably would have rated this facility at a minimum of Average if it wasn't for a couple of unfortunate, isolated, events. Those events are as follows: 1) U-haul double dipped on my autopay payment for my storage unit. The resulting double-dip caused a chain reaction of subsequent overdrafts on my bank account that cost me hundreds of dollars in fines and about 4 hours worth of telephone calls to get things ironed out. After placing numerous calls with U-haul to get my money restored to my account, an agent finally issued a refund ticket and told me I needed to wait 3 to 5 business days to have the funds credited. I explained to this gentleman that this matter was urgent, as I now had a week to survive with zero money in my bank account. He assured me he had it taken care of. Three business days later, still no refund. I called back to U-haul only to discover the original agent essentially allowed the refund request ticket to remain in a state of limbo and that I would now need to start over with the 3 to 5 business day wait, while they move the ticket out of limbo state and relaunch the process. Completely unacceptable! 2) When I went to the actual U-haul location to discuss the matter in person and explain the unfortunate series of events that transpired because of the U-haul double dip error, the female manger at the counter was personable. But the other gentleman at the counter gave me attitude and told me that I needed to take this matter up with my bank. Well, that was a fatal mistake on his part. This issue was not my bank's responsibility to mitigate. This was unquestionably U-haul's responsibility to make good on. And this gentleman's response was a 180 degree departure from what I was willing to hear from U-haul that day. So, the next day I vacated my storage unit. And that marks the end of my relationship with U-haul. And I will be sure to spread the word about my negative U-hual storage unit experience any time I am provided the opportunity!Victor V. | Overall Experience

At my pickup time, U-haul Manager said my 2 5/16 ball would work. I said I have used this type of trailer and this 2 5/16 Ball before. Manager said no I had to go Buy a smaller ball and install it. I wasted 2 hours of my day going to buy a smaller ball and installing it on my hitch so oak creek manager would let me get trailer. When I dropped off trail, The personnel at that location said my 2 5/16 Ball would have worked fine. I tried my 2 5/16 ball in the Trailer there at drop off location it fit fine! U-Haul YOU NEED TO TEACH YOUR STAFF WHAT SIZE BALLS WILL FIT IN YOUR TRAILERS, SO OTHER PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO GO THREW HAVING TO GET A DIFFERENT BALL FOR NO REASON. ALSO SARCASTIC COMMENT TO ME, YOUR PULLING IT WITH THIS??? I SAID WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY 1 TON FORD E-350 CUBE VAN IT THE SAME AS YOUR U-HAUL CUBE VANS. When I asked about night drop the gal said I could drop the truck at the end of the day. She didn't tell me that I had 15 minutes of filling out the online drop-off pages and taking pictures and submitting to do before I could drive away. Also I got charged an added $7 for saying I used the handtruck that was in the truck. Never thought that would be a charge since you gave it to me in the truck. To be honest, having the hand truck was a blessing but I did not know it was an added fee. That kinda surprized me.Stu M.

The interior floor of the truck was vacuumed and clean, but the doors and the seats were dirty. The doors looked like someone had spilled drinks all over them and the seats did not look like they were vacuumed. The only only area of improvement is to make sure the trailer is secured to the ball on the hitch. I hit a bump on I-43 just north of downtown and it popped off my truck and started swaying back and forth and i was dragging the trailer by the chains. I stopped as quickly as I could and thankfully didn't cause an accident or damage to my â€œalmost newâ€ truck. Some kind gentleman who was behind me stopped and helped me out the trailer back on the hitch so I could continue my travel up north. I was glad for that trip to be over. We are still in a pandemic. Things need to be disinfected. Most rental car companies are working with companies like Lysol and Clorox to help ensure cleaning for rental vehicles. Once you pick up a rental car there is a official post it inside the car letting the driver know that this vehicle was disinfected by Lysol products. U-Haul needs to do this.Zoya A.
