Dillion was very professional and we had all the paperwork done in 5 minutes. He than hooked up the 5x9 ramp utility trailer, made sure the chains and lights worked and I was off. He also had someone blow out the bed with a blower. Awesome job Dillion. Thank you, KenKenneth F.

Alicia is horrifically aggressive and rude. She treated me and the other customers this morning like a complete inconvenience and with unprovoked aggression. As she was driving a box truck into the parking lot her speed made the unsecured roll door slam open. I was shocked to see someone with such little disregard for the safety of property and life. Very compact and difficult to maneuver. Also, I had to drive 30 miles out of my way in traffic because my original pickup location didn't have the trailer I reserved three months ago. I was notified only one day prior which destroyed some of my moving plans.ROBERT B.

The "Now Hiring" sign may explain much of what I experienced...but took me nearly 45 minutes to complete the "check in" process and drive away even though I made the reservation online in advance. The GM (Robert) was pulled in multiple directions...and was not very pleasant. He was adequate...got the job done...but have had better experiences at at a gas station.Kelvin W.

The staff at this location were friendly and professional. The truck we rented had very poor windshield wipers. We are lucky it didn't rain. However, when we returned, the gentleman who checked us in apologized for the wipers and wrote down a report so the next people renting the truck would not have the same problem. I would rent again from this location because of the friendly service.DAVID G.
I can't really see any room for improvement unless I'm they got more square feet for the lot but that doesn't seem likely. As far as equipment available they're extremely well stocked and the customer service is totally top tier. the manner in which the customer service crew operates in such a tight and fast-paced environment is literally amazing and they're happy pleasant and smiley. I'm actually quite shocked that with covid going on that you guys don't even wipe down the inside of the car. The only way I know that is because when I removed the sunshade I found stocks on the dashboard. So if the vehicle was wiped down, somebody obviously would have found the socks. I think it's just gross in general that they don't wipe the cabs down but considering what's been going on the past year, I'm actually quite shocked. I would appreciate a consideration of some sort of credit. Thank you.GIOVANNA M.

The manager Robert was very rude. He also seemed very stressed because it was busy. He was irritated when my equipment was not available due to the gas cap missing and it was unavailable for me to rent. He did say that would qualify me for the $50 refund since my equipment/truck size was not available to rent. However when I got my second receipt, there was nothing about the $50 refund transaction. When I asked him about this on the receipt, he seemed irritated and told me that he was going to go do that later. I asked him if I could have the transaction done and a receipt before I left. He seemed mad at this request and stormed inside the office, even slammed his fist down on a pile of boxes or some type of display. When he was doing the transaction he didn't even speak to me. Then when he finished he said okay the refund is processed you will see it soon. When I asked if there was some type of receipt I could have he said â€œno not reallyâ€, but then gave me a print out of the transaction. Worst experience I had at a U-Haul.ANDREA R.

Way too many trucks in the return lane. We had received a disturbing call 4 hours after picking up our truck from an Annie from U-Haul. She told us we couldn't return to Oceanside the next day as our contract stated because they were too full and wanted us to drive another hour plus to return our truck to Escondido or Fallbrook. This would have been even further than our entire 38 mile moving trip! Why didn't U-haul employees clear the way for more trucks instead of putting the burden on their customers? We told her that was unacceptable and we returned it to Oceanside as we had set up when we made the reservation 5 days prior.Dennis R.

When the box arrived at 930 Vine street, there were 2 pads to cover object when 24 were part of the agreement. I got notice that the box arrived. When we went to get it, it was the wrong box, a wasted drive and time to go to Davenport, Ia. It seems like the number for shipment did not match the truck drivers shipment order.Mary L.

The employee handling my rental was competent and expedient, but quite surly and not exactly customer-friendly. If he was having a bad day, it shouldn't show to customers. If he's always like that, he has the wrong job.Mark B.

Computer system was not functional at the time of my rental which was also the case when I rented two years ago from the same location. Forget about speaking to someone on the phone as there is a phone tree that leads to a terminal hold. I thought it might be specific to this location but the same was true of my return location as well. No critique of the staff on site. They were nice, professional, and as efficient as their dysfunctional computer system would permit.Michael L.
I had a reservation to drop the car off this location a week in advance. The next morning after my move on the way to return the truck, I see I have a message saying I can't drop the truck off there because it's full.... really??? I waited for over an hour on U-Haul customer service line and never got ahold of anyone. I ended up taking the truck to this location anyway and they charged me an extra fee because the truck was now late (after waiting on customer service). Again, this was just the cherry on top of a completely horrible U-Haul experience. Never again.Adamo D.

I rented two trucks this week and both times there was never enough people to help and the line was long. The second truck I got the air conditioning was not working and had a terrible smell to it like the belt was burning! Not terribly impressed but would rent here again.Denny C.

They are a busy place they could use another person to help check in and check out customers. There were what seemed to be five or six people waiting to be served. I know they were working hard I just think one more person to help them would expedite your service. Ive been here twice. First time was just dropping off and the employee was awesome. This time however, when picking up, the process to check in was extremely slow but more so, the employee that hooked me up to the trailer was rude and displayed a very negative attitude from start to finish. Upon returning, there was absolutely no communication with where to pull my truck up. One employee did not offer any information and displayed a similar negative attitude until finally pointing where to go. When I got to the proper drop off zone, a different employee unhooked me from the trailer and was actually quite pleasant.SCOTT S.
