Quit trying to hide trucks. It wasn't until my wife said we know you have trucks we were already at another location and they told us they had them here. That the guy was like oh had I hadn't this after lying to us and saying all he had was a van

I was told if I dropped truck off a day early I would receive a credit. Employee said I have to call first or I don't qualify. No one ever mentioned that! Raced to get truck back before 5pm too. Big sign in truck "Sweep, Return Clean and Get $25" Lies. Swept (even though still looked clean) no $25. Drop off employee little rude. Didn't want to be helpful or do any work to refund any portion of my payment. Not friendly or helpful. Uhaul employee had the "last word", no talking or negotiating, their way or no way. Disappointing.

Computers. The tech of todays day and age leaves a massive gap between your average consumer and business. The improvments of the last 3 years alone has made over 90% of business have literal ancient dinosaur level computers that cannot keep up or do thier tasks effectivly due to conductivity issues. This rqnges from the card readers to copy and printers. Each being updated and replaced but the slow outdated hard drives and processing of these PC's used in business is embarassing.
The rep was great. The truck did its job, however it ran shaky and the check engine light was on.
I asked for a boxed cargo van and got a regular van and the van was dirty, the windows were dirty and I took Clorox wipes to wipe the insides down and it was very dirty.
The wait times on the phone to get information was horrible and unacceptable. Although the people were friendly and tried to help, no one seemed to be able to give answers about scheduling of the arrival and delivery of my Boxes. The date kept changing and made it impossible for me to plan. The price was the lowest alternative, so I guess you get what you pay for and I would use U-Haul again, but with low expectations on schedule reliability. The funny thing is that they kept extending the delivery date to my dismay and then ended up delivering early to my delight! But if I had been meeting my goods by flying to the destination it would have been a disaster. Because we were driving and had some flexibility we were able to get in the car instantly to drive 1200 miles to the destination when we were suddenly told our goods had arrived 10 days early!

After calling the location directly several times, they never answered. It always went to central call center. Also did not receive a call from a scheduling office; so I checked in online, and called central (again). However, at the time of pick-up, the employee was MOST helpful and very polite. The exterior of the trailer was not washed from the previous one-way rental. I suppose that is not critical - but I felt as though the initial grease and oil then reflected poorly on me, when I dropped it off.
I was provided very old truck leak all over my brand new driveway. I rented U-Haul trucks this is the first time and I don't think twice going forward.
I reserved a truck and was going to do the electronica check in. Unfortunately since your employee gave my reserve truck to someone else, I wasn't able to do the electronica check in. I ended up being there for an hour and a half due to your employees mistake, and I had to pay my movers for an hour for sitting there waiting for me while they did nothing. Your employee cost me money. I shall now rent all my trucks from Budget
Manager showed up at 7:55. Almost a full hour after they were supposed to be open. This was after a week of them screwing up my order, not having my contracted trailer and forcing me to drive 40 minutes each way to get a trailer.
Your website and online system to track shipments is the most confusing I have ever experienced. It may be good for your employees but for the customer it is very confusing and provides too much information to the customer. What you provide the customer online should be simple and not confusing with multiple account numbers for each phase of a shipment. Your graphic for showing a shipments progress and ONE account number is all the customer needs and would eliminate a lot of confusion. FIX IT !!
Rented the truck at 1/4 tank of gas. Returned it with 3/4 full. The guy who checked me in, was clueless when I asked about it. He went inside to ask his boss. Rather than coming out to address my question, "Boss" sent Clueless back out with an "I don't know....you'll have to take that up with U-Haul"
The two young men in charge of operations were extremely helpful, informative, patient and kind throughout the entire rental process. Their competent understanding and valid suggestions concerning the needs of the move made everything run very smoothly. They went the extra mile and for that I say: “Thank you!â€

Theres nothing about holding money on any sites or emails prior to getting there and swiping my card for you to take $35 extra from what i was supposed to pay and youll refund it in 1-3 business days. Im moving i need that money. And it was bs that i wasnt told any of this up front.

Do not put the dolly or blankets in truck unless asked to. It takes up valuable space.
Very convenient. We used a moving service from Florida to Indiana and now we came back with U-Haul Uboxes. With the moving service we didn't carry too much weight, but things arrived broken or with little damage, but now with U-Haul everything arrived safe, as we packed ourselves with care, because it's our stuff.

This Pine Island U Haul is excellent and needs no improvement! The Gentlemen working there are Very Kind and Courtesy!
Store is clearly outdated but the employees are friendly. Wish there was designated car parking for when picking up/dropping off rentals.

Drop off location kept changing and had to drive 3 cities over to drop off when I was told the ace hardware in portage Indiana would take it. They refused the drop off at the door and the next town over, the main uhaul number said already had “too many†even though the location told me they could fit it. Had to drive to a dangerous part of Gary indiana to drop off. I will not be using uhaul again and am waiting on a call from uhaul Monday morning to issue my refund as I was told by 2 different reps they would be reaching out to do this.

Truck was clean and ready to go. Service was excellent.
They gave me tons of options to choose from as far as a moving truck. They took the time to listen to what we needed and mad accommodations due to the lack of availability. They really helped make a quick move extremely quick.

I rented a space for security because I felt my car was being tampered with and was told there were cameras on 24/7. The employees constantly leave the gate open at this facility. When I questioned a day where I felt my car had been tampered with they refused to review the footage. I was told that I had to file a police report and that only a police officer could view the footage. Why would I file a report without seeing if there was an issue? If I’m paying for security but not receiving security, isn’t that a breach of contract? If this facility is a reflection of your other facilities, I feel sorry for your customers that are being swindled.
Requiring customers to use uhaul locks, then the key broke off in the lock. Had to pay a locksmith to open it. Then move out was not handled right and facility calling about being late on rent. I moved out of the unit days prior. Do better.
Everyone was great that I talked to for questions. This was my first time ever having to rent a storage unit and didn't know how it worked. Everything I asked was explained too me. A great place to rent a storage unit

We have been using the Pine Island facility for three months and are big fans. My only complaint is that the facility is not staffed well enough to answer the phone consistently but I understands why
All staff member were helpful and kind. Unit was clean, secure. Having a light in the unit was a great help when moving items in and out during the late hours. Will definitely use again!
As always, Pine Island is friendly and very accommodating. I cannot say enough about how Phil and his staff bend over backwards to help us when we need something. Scott

look i will never tell anybody to rent from here i had so many problem with a night worker he kept calling me saying i need to pay my bill an he lock me out 2 different times so i went else an rented.
Phil REALLY took care of us and I wanted to make sure he was recognized. I was under a time crunch and he made sure that I was taken care of. I cannot say enough about him. Scott

Everything went as scheduled except for some reason the customer name was changed during the move. I am not Lowry Lamar Rhoden. Lowry was the gentlemen who hauled the box from Sebring to Haines City.

I only answered no to the first two because I never went in. Difficulty with delivery due to truck failure. Unable to pick up as scheduled for same reason. Other than that, was OK, ergo AVG rating
I reserved a unit to store my car the person that made the reservation said it was indoor storage like a garage when I went today the manager said it was inaccurate and I went to extra space storage!

Horrible experience. I paid for two years and every few months, the rent would increase and they would charge fees due to an error in their own system. Horrible customer service
Our overall experience with U-Haul was terrible, but it was with the Alsip, IL location. Our pods were lost for approximately one week and when they found them we had to wait several days to get.
Josie was polite, resourceful & very helpful. I rated UHaul as excellent because of the great customer service Josie provided.You have a great employee in Josie and should reward for her hard work.
