Peter H.I had originally set up my delivery for Little River, NC but found out a week later that my container was still sitting in Rochester, MN because the store there had not followed through with my shipping. When it was finally shipped it was 4 days late and sent 50 miles away from where I wanted it then was not allowed to return it to the uhaul in Little River which is only 5 miles away from where I live. Doubtful that I would ever use your service again.

Bruce S.I have rented multiple trucks trailers from this location nothing but the best service staff is very friendly and always willing to help you load your trailer I had to do nothing just check the blinkers and brakes and I was on my way I love the storage units at this place also they're very clean and up-to-date and heated with high security best u-haul place I've ever been to.

Ray D.For the duration of my rental, the security gate was nonfunctional or just left open. When I started my contact, I was assured there would be a remote gate opener provided. After several requests over months, the remote was not available or not working. No apology or accommodation was offered. On each visit when I inquired, staff was always hard to find and not helpful when I was able to find someone. Parking spot was very difficult to maneuver my trailer into due to the tight clearance side to side as well as the limited turn radius. Parking spots were poorly maintained with a lot of junk and what apparently is building materials being stored there. Very disappointing for such a new facility. Will look for something else next season.
Fred B. | Overall ExperienceWhen people are moving and hiring help to move heavy pieces, you need to have the Ubox ready ON TIME! I was there the day before to make sure everything was set and was told it was right outside and ready to go. Don't lie to people. Just do your job and think about how it would affect you if your container wasn't ready. I had this reserved weeks in advance. You guys cost me extra money and a lot of stress. I hope you discuss this with the employees that helped me on Friday as well as those on Saturday when the box was being picked up. AND, this all falls on the owner/manager of the location. I guess you don't really care how failure on your part can case problems for the customer.
susan Q.Maintain trailers better. Check tires,the first trailer I wS offers had a bald tire on it the next had a BIAS tire on it. We blew a tire 500 miles into the trip.

Start truck put in gear truck launched and almost hit a tree. No throttle was touched. When we got home it did it again this time drugged me in process. I got major road rash.

Vincent P.I have used your service four times at this location. The fourth time I used the 26' truck for 29 miles. I put 5 gallons of gas in the truck before I returned it. The U-Haul Employee said I did not put any fuel in the truck. I showed him the slip. He charged me for extra fuel with the bill being higher than the estimate, and I put on 29 miles not the 35 mile estimate. Never again will I use U-Haul again.

Nicole O.I am extremely upset! We came from FL. And had some issues with medical and finding a place to store all of our stuff. We explained it to the company and it went smoothly. But then we had to regroup and move to Iowa bc of my terminal illness is our of remission and I have to buy a house there instead. We went to U-Haul in Rochester. I tried several times to talk to the manager. She either would not listen to me or she walked away. Twice! I tried and her employees tried to fine her, along with a customer before me who was extremely upset with her. Saying she was incompetent. Lazy. And stupid. A young man Myron Miller DID try to help me. He was polite and very helpful. But he apparently was new. He didn't know the system there. I tried to explain what I was doing and he tried to help. But the manager wouldn't help him thru the process. So I sat there for almost over two hrs giving my info over and over. Trying to get it completed. The other employee (gentleman) was very nice but he had other customers he was helping. He couldn't stay to help with my contract or issues. Finally they both walked outside with me after I signed to leave. I must say this separate. I do not know U-Haul's policy. I've never worked there. So I do not know anything about ur contracts. Only what was explained to me and I read. The young man hitched up the trailer. And said get ahold of uhaul in Iowa. We left the policy open so u can drop it off when ready. One hr into the travel the lights on the right side stopped working. The trailer before that we had a flat on the hyw. Then the AC on the truck stopped two hrs after we left. When we came to our destination we told them about. I ended up getting sick and issues with my infusion meds. It was an emergency so I couldn't get ahold of uhaul right away. When I did. A lady named Gina started yelling at me. I tried to explain but she just kept going on about the policy. And I only had to drop it off 15 miles where she told me in an email. I tried again to explain where she's talking about is over an hr. Not 15 ml., So I contacted another uhaul employee. She was nice and helpful. Lori. She made it simple to drop off the transport. BUT! Then she said there was an APB out for me for STEALING the uhaul! I said wtheck r u talking about? I ended up very sick. And making phone calls to see what was going on. I've sent two emails. And left two messages. And called 507-284-4594. I explained what was going on. And asked for a manager now! The young girl said he wasn't there. She would put in the computer what I said and then said "I will talk to him in the morning. And he will be calling u.) It's been a couple days and I haven't heard a thing. So I'm very upset at not knowing what's going on. I have the uhaul parked by the police station while I wait to find out what I'm to do. Ty.
Terri M.Agent at the desk was slow and grumpy. No one present to hook up trailer for me...had to wait until someone showed up for work. It took the employee 15 minutes to hook up trailer because he was slow and didn't appear to know how to do it. When returning trailer, no one came to unhook until I finally found them all outside smoking.

ERIC B.Delivery wise, site was great! My box arrived on time and everything was safe inside. The part that was frustrating is that I had it set up to be picked up and delivered to another site. When it got closer to the date, an employee called to set up the pickup of my empty box. I told him that it was not empty and the box was supposed to get delivered to another city. He said that could be arranged, but he didn't know how to set that up so he took down my info and someone would get back to me. A week later, I still hadn't heard anything so I called back and that lady proceeded to tell me that it isn't possible and that Rochester was no longer doing deliveries. When I told her that is not what I was told the week before she told me "no one at uhaul would have told me that" as it was known by all the employees. She was rude and told me my box had to be empty by that Saturday (2 days) for pickup. I get that changes happen but communication before would have been helpful and nice.

I asked him a few questions and he didn’t provide very good answers or would say “I don’t know”. He then rented me a space that was occupied. So I asked him about it and he switched me to a different spot. That spot too was full. I again asked him and he said “I wasn’t sure which of the two were open” so I was moved again and was able to get into a spot.

Another staff member at same location missed my reservation for a truck, then I had another on site staff reserve for me and they STILL messed up. The store manager needs to do a better job of preparing their employees.

Wait time message said it would be over an hour wait.

This is a nice facility with easy indoor loading zones and good size cargo elevator. You can tell it is well maintained and the employees care about the facility.

John D. | First ImpressionsPretty Clean facility...winter being what it is...the sprinkler system froze and broke on 1st floor during move in... the staff handled it swiftly but it was a bit unnerving not knowing if there was a fire or other issue going on. Otherwise Staff was good about explaining products and contract to me and tried to help me figure out what happened with app reservation that did not appear on record a bit of snafu with technology aspects, not a staff issue just website on device issue. Also gentleman was knowledgeable on hitch Installations so I could feel confident in requesting an one installed at another time. Thank you all and hope that buggy sprinkler system gets fixed!

Pratibha V. | First Impressionsfrom the first day I did not receive a swipe card and never was able to when I went in each time as I just being told I didn't need one though I couldn't get in after 8 without one. beginning the first month my billing was messed up because the card I used for eft was never used so I keot being billed and given late fees. you corrected the errors of late free but continued month after month and then when I canceled my account, twice btw, you did bill my card..attempted with another late fee. the storage was clean and would have been more accessible with a swipe car but the continued stupidity of every month having to call and remit further payments after being transferred to second parties and waiting 20 minutes or more..exhausting and inconvenient. you wore me out.

Collen has done a great job after Andy was promoted. Andy has installed trailer hitches on two of my vehicles since I moved to Minnesota in January 2019 for Mayo clinic.

This is supposed to be the newest facility and a secured unit and even with that someone was still able to break into my storage unit and nobody had informed me about the alarm being triggered and I found out 4 days after my stuff was stolen that the alarm was triggered and no employees had contacted me to alert me. Very dissatisfied on the actions that were taken.
