The facility it self was well maintained but the storage unit had roaches I called several times to get someone to exterminate. Never received a call back from the store manager or anyone. I moved out 15 days after I had paid the months storage and did not get a prorated rate. I also used a uhaul truck to move out. This was the worst experience I've ever had trying to rent a truck. Your 24/7 service might as well not exist as the truck I requested and the dollies I ordered, and left a memo for, were not available or ready for me. took over an hour and multiple phone calls to end up in a larger truck and no accessories. The girls were RUDE. The 1st truck had a Check Engine light on. The 2nd truck I got was disgusting & smelled like Cigarette Smoke! Upon dropping it off at a different U-Haul the ladies there were very rude and throwing their hands up in the air at me because I came in the wrong way off of 17-92 like I knew which way to come in when I have NEVER been there before.Tonya A.

I was first at El Cheapo gas station in Osteen and went thru all the steps of uploading driver license but did not understand why the owner was not there for the 8:30AM pick up as I did reserve early. Spoke to Osia on the phone and went and did the walk around the truck check the gas and mileage. The clerk in the store said we had everything done and she told me that she wanted me to come back at 11AM which I was confused as I had a reservation at 8AM. So I called into Uhaul and from the new location to that location was 9 miles and they offered a $20 credit which I felt was no right as I had people waiting to load the truck and it took me another hour out of my way plus the 45 minutes I spent at the gas station to not get the truck. I have rented alot of uhaul and that is not the way I have ever done it when I rented one. I would like the territory manager to call me at 407-430-9541. Thanks Stacy WebbStacy W.
The 6'x12' open tailer came off my vehicle and the employee that took the call said, " Can you please hold......I see we have a picture on file, the trailer was hooked up properly. You must have altered it or someone else did". Wow, no concern for injury, am I in need of help, did this cause an accident or any other concern. His only concern is that the person that attached it to my vehicle took a picture. Very poor customer service.Darren B.

Location and staff were fine, but the mile price was too high at $1.19, considering that the renter has to pay for the gas used and the gas prices are sooo high, and the truck spend a lot of gas. Even if its the weekend, because people who work will have to do moving stuff fri-sun, I just think it's too high.Minelly F.

I don't have anything to recommend that you could do to improve, because I was beyond impressed with your customer service and equipment. Specifically the customer service that was provided by August and Jeffery. I am a 5'3â€, 44 y/o woman who rented a 9' transport van to transport a full sized mattress, box spring, and frame to my 74 y/o mother's house by myself. This was already stressful enough. I didn't need any other stress added to this process. The dates and times offered by the mattress store did not meet our needs, so I planned to pick the mattress up from the store. I live 2 hours away from Orlando. I came down for the weeken, rented a hotel room, and rented the Uhaul van to deliver a mattress to my mom in Orlando. I confirmed all dates and times with the mattress store. They told me it would be available on Sunday. The paperwork even said the mattress would be available for pick up on Sunday. I picked up the van, drove the van to the mattress store to pick up the mattress, and they were CLOSED! I was livid!!!!!! My mom was upset too. This meant that I'd spent money on a hotel room and a UHaul that was non refundable for a task that I wasn't able to complete. I was nearly in tears (of anger and frustration) when I returned less than an hour later with the van to the UHaul. I hate having my time and money wasted and I'd had both wasted by that mattress store. I was so mad. August and Jeffery were who I worked when renting the van . As much as I don't like to show people I am upset, they saw that I was. **Let me emphasize, NONE of my situation was Uhaul's fault. EVERYTHING went perfectly with the Uhaul rental. The van perfect and drove well. August and Jeffery gave me excellent customer service when renting the van to me. They were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. It was the mattress store that had me so upset. I didn't ask for or expect any favor from Uhaul because none of this was their fault. I expected to be charged for the van even though I didn't use it for its purpose that day. That surprisingly didn't happen. August was able to move my reservation to the following day. I can not explain how helpful this was. I was able to get the mattress to my mama. This is the kind of unexpected kindness that you don't see often and I cannot express how much I (and my mom) appreciated that. This is customer service at its best. I cannot thank August and Jeffery enough for this. I would recommend this UHaul without hesitation.Sabrina W.
Somehow after completing my UBOX reservation to move from AZ to WA, the Uhaul system decided to glitch and reserve a box in Florida for me without me ever asking it to. So I was paying for an empty box in a state I haven't been to on the other side of the country. I tried to call Uhaul several times and got stuck on hold for an hour only to be told they dont know what is going on. The store manager in FL was able to resolve it though but not before I was charged rent on the box. 0/5 for Uhaul, 5/5 for the Florida store.Michael K.

Couldn't take the drop off due to being â€œtoo fullâ€ sent me down the road to drop it off somewhere else. Also, I'll mention this again because it's really that importantâ€¦ the price for this rental was way too high.Joseph T.
The first 20 ft truck had the engine light on. Four diagnostic codes came up when the technician checked it. 2nd truck ( which I took) I noticed had one tire ( outside drivers side rear) with little tread. I drove to 30 miles past Nashville ( perhaps 700 miles since picking up truck) and the inside drivers side tire lost it's tread. This tire was also quite bald. After calling U-Haul roadside help, 2 wheels with new tires arrived. 3.5 hours from calling assistance to back on the road. The technician in Sanford Florida was quite helpful and stayed a bit late and helped with me signing in on my phone. Also, the gentleman that changed my tire was quite pleasant. My summation would be that the trucks were clean, employees were helpful, but maintenance was lacking. Sincerely,Jonathan S.

It took me almost an hour to get out of here with the truck I reserved even after doing the checkin process on my phone. We first bought packing supplies and had to wait for 15 minutes for an employee to check us out. Then they had to manually add each item number which took forever. Added in with the glass dividers which forced you to pass every item back and forth over this stupid thing. I told her I was getting a truck but opted to check in online. She said nothing to me. We find the truck, it's clean but has an off odor. After we enter the truck info the app asked for references, a lease agreement or employment contacts. Why wouldn't it ask for this when I first setup the reservation? Then I had to go back in the store and get the keys and the employees had no idea what I was talking about. I said I just need the key for truck #______ here's my reservation. And they kept saying no you have ti make a reservation all the trucks are bookedâ€¦. I know I made a reservation it's right here. This all are about an hour of the 8 that I booked.Tyler R.

Teach employees to listen to customers when there is an issue before just pushing them off to other people in the company. Actually check equipment, I had to deal with leaks. The only reason I am giving one star is because Merna and Xavier did their jobs perfect and with a smile on their face. Patricia was unprofessional to work with because anytime I had to deal with her, which was a lot, she had an attitude or acted like I was bothering her by using UHAUL. Then I recommended my sister and Patricia treated her the same way. Her customer service is AWFUL. Also the new security system makes it extremely annoying to drop off or pick up multiple loads by the doors closing automatically.
